“He has quite a good bum” ... Oh Mel you made me laugh. Love your honesty, and love eating shows too. Your lipstick colour in this video is gorgeous on you. Thanks again for another great video and for always making us smile #faMELy. Hope your keeping well in isolation and look forward to your next video.
Skincare recommendation: I mostly use Clarins as they’re all about botanicals. The Multi-Active and Extra-Firming range for moisturizer is v. Good. When I’m tried of Clarins, I switch to Caudalie. They’re fully organic, no perfume, no bad chemicals range - amazing! The SOS face moisturizer is fantastic, the RESVERATROL line is also amazing! The Beauty Elixir mist spray is to die for, it’s a great feeling of fresh spray on the face. The criteria I look for is fragrance-free, plant-based and free of bad chemicals. Organic if possible 😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰 Hope that helps!
Semi youngish 😂😂😂😂 you seem younger because you talk freely and is always cheerful.. it’s always good to watch your videos after a long day of work. Thank you Mel for your videos.😍😍😍😍
Love seeing that you still cannot stop smiling when you talk about your husband! I love these videos and your honesty. Would love to see you talk about specific leathers, especially if you can divide them up into few videos per brands. I've been getting somewhat confused looking at used items to see which bags are worth the price (or why the bags are priced the way they are). I appreciate your honest opinion, and love that you don't mind few scratches on boxed calf either! (Btw, everything you show do look meticulous) I recommend youtube channel "Beauty Within" because they break down recommendations based on skin types (and I think getting advise from fellow Asians tends to work better for my skin).
My husband uses Oil of Olay and his skin is so gorgeous and he looks so good. Me, spends hundreds on my face cream and now I have lines on my forehead.😌
I love these type of videos it feels as though we’re getting to know you so much better and it’s good to see how normal you come across 😂 I use Olay as well I just feel it’s reasonably priced and it’s so good, Mel you look amazing don’t change! Hope you and the family are well and keeping safe xx
Hi Mel! My dermatologist recommended me to use the Neutrogena water gel (I have combination skin) and it works so well! Better than many other more expensive brands:)
I am not one of those who usually leave a comment on a video. But we have so much in common (living in Melbourne, and probably have the same weight and height) and I feel like you are a friend. Well done Mel and please keep up with your channel. I always like your videos!
Kiehls ultra facial cream moisturiser! It’s a little lightweight in texture but makes the skin look nice and slightly dewy and just feels like instant hydration. I’ve tried others but always come back to this one❤️
For moisturizer, I am currently using the shisheido waso clear cream + their serum is great! I have hypersensitive and combination skin, and it works really for me. It can hold the moist well without feeling too thick/heavy, even when I apply extra on my more dry/patchy areas:)
Can you please do a video on the different types of handbag leathers and their durability, ex LV, Chanel and Hermes leathers, etc ??? I just wanted to thank you so much for your wonderfully informative videos. I have learned so much from them. I am a late bloomer when it comes to luxury brands.I also love your positive upbeat personality.
I love the Elizabeth Arden moisturiser, and the Dmitri Skinn moisturiser. They're very light yet hydrating. I prefer it to more luxurious moisturizers such as Chanel. I also did calisthenics for 5 years as a child. Really great for kids, and had quite a few transferrable skills when I changed to ballroom dance. It has been pretty interesting to see the huge price decrease in preloved Chanel because of the coronavirus, while Hermes holds its values
Hi Mel, I have been using Jurlique for 10 years! First introduced to this brand when I was a uni student, their daily moisturizer. It's an emollient, so it gives dewy skin finish. I think it's perfect for dry Melbourne weather. Now I have been using their miracle water, serum, eye cream, and still their moisturizer of course :D As we age we need more maintenance haha, I think Jurlique products is in middle range, still affordable and I can use their products for at least 8 months before getting new one. For night time, I use facial oil (I made myself), a mix of rosehip, seabuckthorn, argan oil :) If I feel so tired and lazy to put all the routine at night, I just put the facial oil and then quick massage with roller :D Oh ya, dont forget sunscreen spf 50 for day routine. I use Dr.Jart (korean brand), but any spf should be fine as long it suits your skin :) I have been living in Melbourne for 10 years, but now we moved to China as hubby has better offer here. I think I am more self conscious about how I look now >
I love you take on diets, Mel. Unless it's a lifestyle change, most diet promotes disordered eating and most people don't even know they've developed disordered eating.

Hi Mel, thank you for brightening my quaranteen :-) You afsked for tips on moisturizer - I started using Filorga a year ago (various products, and I highly recomend all). For day time I use time-filler for winter and time-filler mat for summer. I have nice skin, but have gotten sooo many compliments since I started using Filorga. Hope you find, what you’re looking for :-)
At the moment I'm using L'oreal Revitalift Filler (+HA) moisturizer and their serum . I stock up on them when they're on sale at Wollies, Coles or Chemist Warehouse
❤️ this lip colour on you!! My fav moisturiser is Avene tolérance or xeracalm range. Perfume and preservative free, was recommended by my dermatologist and haven’t turned back since. Very simple and effective
Great Video Mel!!! Fan from Sydney. I've been using Kate Somerville Dry Skin Saver Moisturiser (Got it from Mecca) - it's light, doesn't have a strong smell and good for sensitive skin.
I love the iope derma repair cica cream. It is quite balmy and rich though, so I layer it over a light emulsion from hada labo only on the parts of my skin that need it.
Love your special talent 😂 And your videos ❤️ Definitely would be interested in a video about different kind of leathers regarding their durability and care 🙌🏻 And a video about how and what you pack on vacations, especially expensive luxury items since they can often be delicate. Stay safe and healthy 💋
Hi Mel, if you havent seen Crash Landing on You K-drama then definitely watch it on Netflix😊 I also use Olay moisturizer for my face and I find their triple regenerist face cream good. All serums I use are from Kiehls and I find them very so good😊 Your hair is perfection Mel. Do you mind sharing with us your hair care routine and hair products you use? Looking forward to your next video Mel! Many thanks😘
What are your thoughts on Chanel distressed calfskin? Are they considered a lower alternative to the lamb skin or carving especially for the flap bags?
Hi, Mel, I've really enjoyed you Q&A's.(all 3) Thanks for answering so honestly. I've tried different moisturizers but I always go back to Neutrogena Hydro Water Gel.
I recommend moisturizers from Caudalie in their VineActiv and VinoPerfect line. I adore both of them and have been using it constantly for 3 years. You could give it a try!
Best moisturizer is definitely the COSRX 96 Snail Mucin power essence. I've been using it for 3 years now and it's my favorite product on Earth. Like, if I had to choose just ONE product it would be it ! I'd be glad to share my routine with y'all so feel free to ask haha only COSRX products, best Korean skincare brand on the planet (I wish this post was sponsored haha)
I use the Body Shop Drops of Youth range and love it - its really light and refreshing! Love your videos Mel, and your hidden talent 😉 and please could we have a video on different leathers 🙏
Did you add the Van Cleef Apparel mother of peral bracelet to your collection ? Would you wear something delicate like that with your stack ? Im glad your love bracelet is saying closed now and you can wear it wiithout worry .
Mel in Melbourne lamer is like a classic fav , the gel cream should be good!! Darphin is amazing , the hydrating one is so good! Maybe once the pandemic is over get to Mecca for a sample lol 😝 xxxxx
Mel in Melbourne Ahh!! I absolutely love your content :) Has really been keeping me happy while at home! If you’re looking for sneakers btw, try golden goose deluxe brand! Very fun to collect
I have mentioned it before when I asked you about the innisfree toner that I have a hyper sensitive skin, so I can't use any hypoallergenic advertised brands out there. I do moisturize my skin naturally with Shea Butter or Olive Oil and they are all natural and perfect for dry to normal skin and is chemical free. I hope you give it a try Mel. #faMELy

I love the iope derma repair cica cream. It is quite balmy and rich though, so I layer it over a light emulsion from hada labo only on the parts of my skin that need it.
I use Clinique ID moisturiser!! It’s fragrance free
Love your special talent 😂 And your videos ❤️ Definitely would be interested in a video about different kind of leathers regarding their durability and care 🙌🏻 And a video about how and what you pack on vacations, especially expensive luxury items since they can often be delicate. Stay safe and healthy 💋
What a lovely personality you have Mel! And yes your smile is contagious 😊
Aww thank you so much my dear xo
Hi Mel, if you havent seen Crash Landing on You K-drama then definitely watch it on Netflix😊

Another q&a?! Yay! Mel, I’ve always wondered if you’ll ever pick up the YSL Uptown Pouch? I keep seeing it everywhere ! 😊
I have the YSL uptown pouch. I got it at the end of last year :) I have the canvas and leather one. Love it! xx
Hi Mel, was wondering what you ment with Balmain blazers being dupes? From what brand are they inspired?
Wow! Love this edit :D
Hi Mel! Love your honesty and effort to answer everyone's questions!!!
What are your thoughts on Chanel distressed calfskin? Are they considered a lower alternative to the lamb skin or carving especially for the flap bags?
Great video Mel❤️❤️❤️
Laneige or Tatcha has really good moisturizer creams I have really dry skin and this brand never dissapoint me 🍀
Hi, Mel, I've really enjoyed you Q&A's.(all 3) Thanks for answering so honestly. I've tried different moisturizers but I always go back to Neutrogena Hydro Water Gel.
May I ask what lashes are you wearing? Beautiful 😍
The watch is a Day-Date with President bracelet, your MIL has good taste
I like the Bio effect serum and moisture. They are the best I've used so far
Hi Mel, you can search for Grown Alchemist brand. This is an australian brand and really worth to give it a try. Highly recommend ...
You are so adorable! Thank you for these videos. Very interesting!
Love the q&as! Especially your special skill LOL 😂
I recommend moisturizers from Caudalie in their VineActiv and VinoPerfect line. I adore both of them and have been using it constantly for 3 years. You could give it a try!
just found you and I love you so much will be watching the rest of your videos
Mel, I'm interested in your vlog on skincare routine 😍
Noted lovely xo
Best moisturizer is definitely the COSRX 96 Snail Mucin power essence. I've been using it for 3 years now and it's my favorite product on Earth. Like, if I had to choose just ONE product it would be it !
I'd be glad to share my routine with y'all so feel free to ask haha only COSRX products, best Korean skincare brand on the planet (I wish this post was sponsored haha)
May I suggest Olay regenerist micro sculpting serum. I’ve been using it for 5 or 6 years now. It’s a must have for me. I even got my Mama into it.
I use the Body Shop Drops of Youth range and love it - its really light and refreshing! Love your videos Mel, and your hidden talent 😉 and please could we have a video on different leathers 🙏
Thanks for sharing!! and for you video suggestion too x
Have you considered VCA perlee bangles, the one with diamond clovers or the single row diamonds or even the plain signature?
Did you add the Van Cleef Apparel mother of peral bracelet to your collection ? Would you wear something delicate like that with your stack ? Im glad your love bracelet is saying closed now and you can wear it wiithout worry .
*Woo-hoo!* We're Rolly twins! ⌚😄
Mel!!! What skintype do you have ! I m obsessed with skincare ! My favs are from Darphin , tatcha and lamer !!!
I have combination skin, oily t-zone and dry in other areas. I forgot to mention I love Tatcha too but haven't tried Lamer or Darphin x
Mel in Melbourne lamer is like a classic fav , the gel cream should be good!! Darphin is amazing , the hydrating one is so good! Maybe once the pandemic is over get to Mecca for a sample lol 😝 xxxxx
My favorite moisturizer at the moment is Dr Rowbuck’s No worries moisturizer !
I have normal to dry skin, and I love the tatcha dewy skin cream! I also love the tatcha water cream.
hi mel! i love any moisturizers from tatcha (the water cream, dewy skin, and silk cream moisturizers). love from america!
Hi Mel! ❤️
earliest i’ve ever been!
Thanks for being so early xo
Mel in Melbourne Ahh!! I absolutely love your content :) Has really been keeping me happy while at home! If you’re looking for sneakers btw, try golden goose deluxe brand! Very fun to collect
I have mentioned it before when I asked you about the innisfree toner that I have a hyper sensitive skin, so I can't use any hypoallergenic advertised brands out there. I do moisturize my skin naturally with Shea Butter or Olive Oil and they are all natural and perfect for dry to normal skin and is chemical free. I hope you give it a try Mel.

Yay! I am early!
Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream is my favorite moisturizer!! It feels very hydrating and after using it, I can’t go back to other products lol :) ❤️
