To those who see this, most lasers actually won't harm a person unless it is either extremely powerful (more powerful than the ones Michael would have put into it if not for the shipping) or it is concentrated on the same spot for a period of time. The worst thing that would most likely happen is either someone would hurt their eyes (they had goggles on) or an article of clothing would catch on fire.

@@yiklongtay6029 I think they messed up because Michael has framed the advertisement to make the boys something of an object of ridicule while also portraying amazon as an out of touch corporation, which both are brand burns for the amount they probably paid him LOL. Michael gets to maintain his image as authentic as ever. What they probably wanted was Michael to make the boys seem cool so that his audience would try it out. I doubt they anticipated their elaborate marketing instructions would make it into the actual video. Straight up hilarious.

But the way they presented showed that it was more as a joke and this was what they wanted, they just wanted Micheal Reeves advertising it. They didn't want Micheal Reeves not being him while advertising it. So they got what they wanted.
