Many compare an AUDITION version of zhoushen to the final performance of Marcelito. Since u guys want a comparison, let me say this. I used to like Marcelito Pomoy a lot. However, being a vocalist, i can tell u Zhoushen female voice alone & the emotions zhoushen put in here is WAY better than marcelito final performance which is overrated in the west. Pay close attention to both of their vocals, u will know it unless u don't know any vocal techniques. Look up Dalabengba by zhoushen. 5 different voices in a song, Think of Me, Memory & The Lonely Shepherd he did in several voices in these songs. Not that i dislike Marcelito, but u fans are so toxic most of the time & condemn zhoushen. Truth is Zhoushen certainly blows marcelito away & as much as i fond of MP previously, i can tell u marcelito is not proficient in 10 languages like zhoushen does. Marcelito vibratos is really stiff in the high female part & low male. Plus, his female voice not even in the same league as zhoushen, not as clear & high here. It still has that manhood feature. One thing, zhoushen doesnt make every of his song a duet to show off even though he can really do up to 5 or more voices in a song in LIVE(s), not to mention zhoushen mastered every style of music yet he is still exploring & improving. We call this HUMBLE. Being an asian, he doesn't need western spotlight to shine. Obviously, MP keeps showing off dual voices & that's bout him. Covering oldies or disney duet & always with that dual voice with no improvement. No offense, that's very dull. Would really want to see MP to venture into opera or broadway (in REAL classical singing techniques), r&b, rap, hindi, hip-hop, dark metal then also be able to write & sing in 10 languages. Then only u compare MP to zhoushen after he does all these. It's not too late for MP to catch up though. A dual voice is nothing really special nowadays, don't shame yourself or your idol here. U fix your impression on zhoushen solely based on this song, u are just being shallow.

jonathan trania Pomoy performance is more on male and female voice transition. In term of quality of voice, he not in the same level as Zhou. Zhoushen can sing Low note too. When the song need Zhou to hit highest note, he will. Same for Low note. pomoy have two amazing voice but both not at the highest quality.
I don’t know why mp fans react so dumb when other singers are better than mp.... I also heard mp version, he was not bad but when compare with Zhou Shen angelic voice, I can’t see how mp can compete with....

Obviously, MP is ntg compare to ZS. MP demands western spotlight to shine; ZS doesn't have to. They don't know about ZS & never give him a try at all, most of MP fans is as ignorant as westerners. I wouldn't mind people spread my comment above. I guess they cnt accept ZS is better in general. As a matter of fact, Im MP fan once for years but I no longer is. His singing is too rigid & keep covering western oldies & Disney. That's bout it. No surprises. No improvement.
