All the effort of the tune would brake me you’re one tenacious dog with a bone. when putting the front wheel back in once you’ve nipped up the spindle just bounce the forks a few times with the brake on this centres the wheel on the spindle and stops the forks from binding then nip up the four lower fork/ spindle clamp bolts. Looking forward to the ride vid this one was too long a wait 🤣ride safe dude
Just rode home from the beach. Only a five min ride but i'm sitting here grinning ear to ear.. I love the sound!!! Love the way it pounds my chest!. . . I used to do the fork bounce thing but i've changed these wheels out so many times now I just do that little wiggle thing you see me do. It's not for everyone but it works a treat if you proper pay attention to how it moves and settles. . . I promise the next vid won't be long. Got a quick assessment and change of oil and filters to do then I'll be out scaring the bejesus out of myself on what will hopefully be nice dry trails on Monday.🏍 💨🤯
😂😂😂 I've been at work!! . . . Did go for a super long trail ride last week on the SM setup. Trying to edit it together ATM. Shouldn't be too long now. 👍🏽
@@RideyBikes from previous, I got the rottweiler intake and emissions delete kit along with the coober ecu. The coober is a piggyback fuel mgmt device to go along with the stock ecu. This round of mods I got the 690 big bore kit, oversized fuel injector, porting/polishing, and some work done on the cam. The service Mgr at my shop rode my bike before me and told me, " this thing fuckin rips!" The only thing left is to have it dyno'd and the guy there told me he can tune the stock ecu. So we'll see if he can get some better numbers than with my coober. Not sure if the power commander would be better, but I'll check into that...
@@brucefile7430 @Bruce File Mine's a monster and it doesn't have the oversized fuel injector. The minor porting I did was more a clean up than a performance mod and still it has me absolutely cackling when I get anywhere near full throttle. Congrats on your beast!!
Depends on the tyre profile. 2250 works for me with my off road setup and gives me gps accurate reading. Perhaps you have different tyres?? I suppose you could measure the circumference of your wheel once a week and adjust the settings on the dash accordingly. Sounds like a job we’d all like to do regularly. All I know is that I ride with satnav most of the time and it gives me the same readout as the dash so… you do you, I’ll do me, and leave my dash, at 2250.

Finally got my 701 project back after a bunch of mods. All I can say is....WOW! This thing is crazy fast....

@@RideyBikes Also, you were right. The slightly bigger piston had no effect on the top end rpm's. This still revs out like nobody's business...
