Please consider doing as little engine work as possible if you're thinking of taking it to the track, you want the stock reliability. Just start with suspension, break, and tires.
A well-sorted chassis will help you evolve more as a driver than just adding power.

I’m so happy you keep getting new cars, especially car enthusiast cars and not Lambo’s and Ferrari’s. Although I wouldn’t mind if you got your dream GT3 or GT4. Probably be a little harder and more expensive but I would love to see you get a GT2.

When you get comfortable enough with it to start sliding around and really start utilizing the AYC then it feels super rewarding and also it demolishes way more expensive modern sportscars on twisty roads

Yeah I am wondering the same thing. Quick Google reveals people bring them in and register them as a Mitsubishi Mirage. Not sure if that is the case here or if some other trick has been done.

@@mirshah_911 The 5 and 6.. are basically the same car. The minor differences are the front fascia(bumper), interior color(blue and black instead of gay and black) and a larger oil cooler. And slight increase on torque 15 or for lb/f.

Mark Smolarek you’re totally wrong, bigger wheel base with a 6, different wing, folding mirrors, different turbo, quicker steering, etc. keep it rally white, blue or yellow looks the sexiest on a 5.
@@kylebertram3159 I think you are I'll informed my friend. The 5 and 6 share the same chassis, wheelbase and width. The 6 was just a revised evo 5. Slightly improved engine internals, the rods and pistons, which allowed them to do the ECU change for the torque increase. The turbo has different internal turbine, as it was made from titanium, but shares the same housing, meaning both sides are the same MM. Yes, the shocks and spring rates where improved, but are the same make. You, got me on the steering ratio and spoiler is slightly different.
As I said before biggest change was the bumper and interior changes but that doesn't change the car b.c for the most part it's the same car. 4 to 5, 6 to 7 and 9 to 10(never existed) evos are different cars. And the change from evo 7 to 8 is much much larger from the 5 to 6. Bilstein stocks and a LSD and the introduction on the fq400s. Even tho the 7 and 8 are the same car.

They don’t run 20psi stock boost all my evos when they were factory are around 12psi
Wastegate pressure is around 12 yes but they use the stock ECU to her around 17psi stock.

Exactly. I always wanted to mod a 240sx and ended up buying a 16k mile 1996 5-lug manual. Not a mod done to it, even OEM oil filter. I still haven't modded it, and I get why people don't want me to. However, it's probably my only chance in a lifetime to mod what is essentially a brand new 240sx.

AYC (active yaw control) rear diff transfers torque to the outside rear wheel to help the car rotate (cancel out understeer) it's a slightly odd feeling sensation until you get used to it.
The jist of this video is, you are going to take a reliable car and turn it into an unreliable car, got it. For not doing anything to it you sure are going to do a lot to it.
