Sonic Frontiers - Kronos Skip on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop Demo

SEGA recently released a demo for Sonic Frontiers on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop. If you create a Japanese account, you can download this and play it on your non-Japanese accounts and it will have the correct localisation for that account. English, in my case.
The demo has a 15 minute time limit, similar to the various demos SEGA had at conventions throughout 2022. Only this demo seems to be based on the final 1.0 release of the game, as you do start in Cyberspace 1-1 rather than on Kronos.
With the 15 minute time limit, most players won't have much time to get very far as the tutorial area will take the average player about 15 minutes to complete, especially on a first go. But since I've played this game a lot already, I decided to route out a bit of a speedrun to try and see if Kronos Skip would work. I for some reason have difficulty getting much height from the Stomp Attack Launch on the Switch version compared to the other versions, so I ended up using the floating enemies near the waterfall rather than the ones on the ground that I normally use. I actually own a Japanese copy of the Switch version ironically, so I was able to lab the skip on Switch pretty easily too before getting into this.
Unfortunately, while the skip theoretically works and I could even spawn Giganto really fast, the game appears to crash once you reach the purple Chaos Emerald and try to pick it up to start the Super Sonic transformation scene. It's a real shame, as I was hoping something interesting could happen in the demo after beating the Giganto fight. I reckon this is probably an intentional crash as a failsafe, to prevent people from being able to try more of the game than is really intended.
This was still a fun experience all the same though, I was able to route out a decent route to get enough skill points to get the Stomp Attack quite quickly, so that's nice to have under my belt.

It more than likely just crashed due to missing some files. Makes me wonder if it'll work with file mods, though.

I mean obviously it didn't work, if they included the whole game in the demo the storage space would be as big as the actual game in GB. Demos are meant to be small in size
