Man I’m so glad I watched this anime. It’s so damn good and it’s definitely one of my favorite animes in a long time. The characters, the world/environment, the action, and of course the humor are all fantastic. Glad I was able to experience the final movie and the whole series sooner than later. Not a lot of series can get a proper ending so I’m very happy this series quickly grew on me. It grew on me so much that I’ve started to listen to the ops and ending songs while I’m walking to class.

@@asilversoul6718 it's my third favorite show, but because I'm heavily biased since fate and konosuba played a really important part in my life when I had depression, but without a doubt gintama is better than them, and better than anything I've ever seen, and I've seen A LOT of animes
I don't think it's extremely underrated, but I do think it is a little bit. That's mostly because it can't really be given a proper dub due to the nature of its jokes and references, which limits its audience. Something like that would require major work and editing, and from what I've heard the Hulu dub does not fulfill those requirements.
It's the progression, they really went from reluctantly acknowledging each other for their strength and what they use it for in that fight in the roof, to be each other's most important person outside their 'families'. Sorachi really took his sweet time in developing that bond and it became something beautiful.
Recently finished Farewell Shinsengumi Arc. It just hurts remembering all those funny moments. The first 50 episodes of Gintama is pure comedy and joy. Everything before season 5 should be appreciated as after season 5 ends, nothing is the same as before.
In my opinion Gintama is the best anime. The life lessons, action, comedy, drama to me Gintama is not just an anime it became part of my life because of the life lessons that this show has taught me it's a really precious anime that once you watch it you will remember it forever

Where you use 3 cuts, I would sometimes only use 1. I hope you get what I mean and I am looking forward to your next project!!

I considered it, but Gintoki AMVs (who is my inspiration for making my own AMVs) already made one with the song, and he essentially did what I think I would have done.
Have you ever tried using Remix's/Nightcore versions of the openings for your AMV's? I find it helps differentiate the AMV from the others. It also sounds dope
Long reply ahead - apologies in advance. When it comes to the music, I personally don't really like nightcore. That's just my taste, though. As for how I distinguish myself - I want my distinction to come from the narrative I'm telling rather than from the music. My goal is to give my AMVs a sense of direction, with the tone of the music matching tone of the visuals. In the case of Wonderland, I saw that the two AMVs that appear at the top of the search were not so good in that respect (sorry to the creators, it's nothing personal). It was more like they just took the good scenes and put them together in order, and the result didn't flow nicely. My main focus when making an AMV is to create something that tells a story and naturally progresses.

When I Started Gintama I did not think that the Shinsengumi would play such an important role for the sires and that I would love them as much as I do
