This is one of the best anime I've watched. It's name is still known today and I consider this an anime classic/old but gold. P.S C.C. is always best girl 4 me since she and Suzaku is the only ones who truly understood Lelouch's true intentions.
But I like Shirley more Even when she didn't know lelouchs true intention, even after knowing he killed her father then also she understood that lelouch was lonely where the whole world was against him .Even cc used him, kallen betrayed him but Shirley believed in him till she died.
I've always leaned more towards Kallen. I feel like she and Lelouch had the most human connection, where Lelouch and Kallen could both be more open with their true personalities and secrets, mirroring each other in that way, but he still holds Kallen at a distance in the end because he still wants her to be happy hating him than suffering loving him after the Zero Requiem. Lelouch did the same thing to her that he did to Nunnally, but Kallen didn't fall for it and figured out what Lelouch intended on her own. C.C. and Shirly are both great pairings as well, but I feel like C.C. is still too guarded around Lelouch about her past and feelings for their bond to feel romantically intimate, especially when she's using him to finally die (though Movie 3 really did change my mind on this, I still prefer Kallen just slightly) and Shirly feels too disconnected from the plot to feel like a natural pairing, though they could've fixed this in S2 and decided to brutally kill her in order to give us unhinged Lelouch vs the Geass Order.

As I watched the first episode of this masterpiece back in 2006 when it first released, and as I was still new to anime (only around 20 series by then, some of the most mainstream of the time), I was almost certain that this will be the greatest anime ever. Now, almost 18 years later, and after having watched more than 1400 anime not counting the rewatches (Code Geass is in my 15th or 16th time) or extras from series like movies or OVAs, I am certain that no anime will ever even come close to this masterpiece.
This Anime, is the greatest Anime ever made for me and i have watched over 1600+ animes, this is one of the animes i keep rewatching at least once a year!

I'm rewatching the show after 15 years, I still remember the day when the last episode came out, came home from a party and watched it while a friend was snoring like a chainsaw. I have to admit that the show has some absurd plot armor going on, but nonetheless the style, the presentation and the drama is still top notch to this day! I love it!

I'm rewatching the show after 15 years, I still remember the day when the last episode came out, came home from a party and watched it while a friend was snoring like a chainsaw. I have to admit that the show has some absurd plot armor going on, but nonetheless the style, the presentation and the drama is still top notch to this day! I love it!
