I love the way, at the beginning of the AMV, the music started when Shinpachi turned his hand into a fist. You did that really well and I fell in love with this AMV right then and there.

Great job putting everything together! I'm no editor, so don't take my word for it, but I have some constructive criticism for you. Some of the filters you add to the scenes make it a lot more difficult to watch. The corners are too faded out and while filters like that can work sometimes in a lot of these situations they were distractions. It also messes with the colour scheme quite a bit which results in some parts of the amv looking bright or perfect, while other parts looked very dark and difficult to see. Dark is fine but the details should be there. Otherwise the editing and picking out scenes for this were great! Keep it up

I gave it like 13 episodes. It seemed very mediocre to me, but I saw none of this. It seemed more like anime satire than something cool. Maybe I'll give it a second chance one of these days.
Honestly I don't blame you, it can be really hard to get into Gintama and being told "just wait until episode 60" or something along those lines (a sentiment I see quite often) probably doesnt help motivate people to watch. All I can say is that there a lot of really cool and emotional stories in gintama with great fight scenes. It definitely goes beyond satire, and it has some of my favourite moments and arcs in anime. But, it's definitely a comedy/satire show most of the time, so whilst I think the funniest episodes come later in the series, if you've watched a good chunk of episodes and haven't found it funny at all, then maybe it isn't for you. And that's fine!
