Thank you very much for doing this video !! My Jubilee sat outside under a tarp for 7 years and after going through the fuel and ignition the only remaining problem was no 1st and 3rd. Found your video and within 15 minutes repair complete and running strong !! Thanks again !!!

How did you get the detent ball out? Mine will not come out. I tried loosened with lube, tweezers, magnet, air pressure. Do you think it could be tapped out from below after you move the rail? HEYELP!!!
ok..so let's see if I got this. First, polish my rod. Then rotate my shaft. There's a rubber stuck up in the hole deep inside. polish my shaft again. Then tweak my rod back in the hole. Finally my Trannie is ready to go. Does that sum it up?

Update - worked like a charm man! I didn't even bother with doing much - just pried her loose and away she goes! I'm missing my detent and spring though... guess I should clean that hole out and find a new one.
@@billstractorcorner You picked the right time of year to mess with it. I’m in Florida and this one came in during the summer. Man it was hot, glad I could help you out, I hate seeing old tractors go to the scrapyard for minor repairs. 🍻

2nd gear uses those plates under the 1st/3rd rod.
