My son's non-verbal autistic and the teachers don't care and get frustrated and yell at him so I pulled him too. If he can't speak and doesn't respond why would yelling it make him understand? He would cry when he saw his teacher and I feel like he was completely neglected and I was told he couldn't attend the whole day bc he took too much supervision. This is a school that begged us to enroll him and met with us multiple times telling me they specialize in kids like mine and would not be a problem. Then they tried to prevent us from unenrolling bc they get $$ for every student with disabilities. It's just a job to them and they don't care.

The school cops are there to patrol our children…my son is 17 now and is a shy reserved young man that wouldn’t hurt a fly…but he’s been through hell and back at the hands of his brother and his brothers lies to the schools demonizing me as an abusive mother except the problem is…I’m 5’ tall not very big…he’s 6’ 250lbs and can throw me around like a rag doll…and has…he’s abused his little brother as well….my oldest son has been charged with assault and battery on his little brother once and the cop told me that I was protecting my oldest son so if he does it again, they were going to arrest me not my oldest son….ive never been able to get any help with the issues we have lived with because it’s always put on me…I took my sons to counseling and of course my oldest son convinced them I was the problem…he wanted to live with his dad who didn’t want him so he blamed me…now that he’s out of our lives…my oldest son moved out in 2017…and now we have no contact at all with him after he stole his brothers vehicle and sold it and drained his account leaving my youngest son with nothing…I had paid for the vehicle and was selling my things to afford to fix it for my youngest son since his dad bought his older brother a vehicle but didn’t even say happy birthday to my youngest son…I wanted to make sure my youngest son got the same thing…his brother didn’t like that….so he took it. I’m the bad guy though…and the schools still believe every word my oldest son tells them…why are they talking to him as if he’s a guardian..they’re using what he says to judge my youngest son …and the school cop will glare at him in the hallways causing massive amounts of anxiety for him.,,these cops search for reasons to make these kids criminals before they’re even adults..it’s bs and needs to stop. It’s so damaging to the kids…but the school cop and the counselors….theyll have closed door sessions with the female students all the time and are all smiles when they do….theyre dismissive of the males though…. Makes me suspicious af!

Life is tough, then lock them up and let them learn about consequences of being criminals. Also, sounds like it’s a group or many people. How many can one reasonably fight? Bullying can have life long impacts. I was pretty well tortured in school growing up in Bradenton. It's effected every part of my life. And yes I've gotten therapy but its not something ive ever gotten over.
I had to get very aggressive verbally with assistant principal about my child's abuse. The faculty told me I had to sue the child's grandparents because their hands were tied. Let that sink in
As someone who's taking classes for an education major I'll tell you know the point of SROs is not to prevent violence it is to further punish children by including legal charges in matters that would've previously been handled by the school. This means school fights result in battery charges and arresting kids on felony drug charges for having small amounts of pot, yet when a shooting happens they don't stop them. The school to prison pipeline is real and our politicians love profiting off of it.

My son went to Pasco County Schools as an ese student. Due to a clerical error on their part he was approached by the school resource officer from behind because the officer was told that my son was supposed to be out of school on suspension. When he approached my son from the rear and grabbed a hold of him my son not knowing it was a police officer try to get away from whomever was grabbing him. he was arrested and charged with battery on a Leo. The school later apologized for the clerical error however I had to get a lawyer to deal with it all.Our kids are neither safe nor getting the education that our tax dollars are supposed to be supplying.
