Hello dear Who is the fish master you deal with who made the arches for you I need to order Please put the contact or the company name to organised and replace the order
I have no clue why there are so many thumbs down on this video? This is the best I've ever seen, and I've watched a lot of videos on fishing setups. Great work and attention to detail. Power Pole on a jet ski? I never thought of that, but it makes sense.
I think because it is like buying a fishing boat and then trying to modify it into a sea doo. Why not just buy the sea doo. And when you look at the amount of money invested...just buy a used boat.
Love it from the begining. Once i thought See Doo is the Best, but now i changed my mind this is the Best. Hope a company adopt you Creative ideas. Thanks
I agree with the quality and skill that went into this installation as well as Robby's comments regarding obstruction of the navigation light. Additionally, the all around anchor/navigation light as currently mounted to the arch will not be visible throughout 360 degrees. I needs to be mounted higher to not only avoid being blocked by items which you have mounted to the aft arch, but also to by the operator and passengers. While PWCs are not permitted to operate after sunset in my area, if permitted in your area and you intend to fish at night, then the navigation light and all/around light should be separately switched. The all around should be switched on at night when anchored or drifting, at which time the navigation light should be switched OFF.
Absolutely amazing work! I will say the new sea doo has done something similar with a much deeper stern platform, making the cooler more secure/integrated
Very NICE, well done you should be proud of it. I've been wanting to do one for a very long time. Seeing this one it's now time to go for it. GOD BLESS
I have owned big boats but nothing compares to the fun I have fishing off my ski. Purchase price is way less than any boat. Maintenance is much much easier and cheaper than a boat. Shallow or deep, you can fish it. Storage, repairs and fuel consumption pale in comparison to a boat. Its not for everyone, as you must like being closer to the water, be up for a challenge and enjoy smiling all day long.
Working on my jet ski now... did you build the fishing arch yourself? Trying to find the hardware to fabricate my own...please let me know if know where to find the right hardware..
I kayak fish and always wondered if a wave runner would make for a good fishing vessel vs. purchasing, storage and maintenance of a full size boat. I guess this answers my question, great job man.
WRESTLING & WAVERUNNER FISHING FAMILY I hate to tell you, but PWC's are NOT allowed to operate between dusk and Dawn. It does not matter if it has Navigation lights. This is a federal regulation and supercedes any FL law. If you are operating outside of territorial waters 12nm from shore. It is illegal to operate in reduced visibility. Love the rig but just thought I'd let ya know. 10+ years Coast Guard
Very nice setup! Could you please do a video to show how to connect all the electrical wires between many items such as the 2 batteries /dual battery switch / spotlights / bilge pump/ fish finder / navigation lights / fuses and switches + battery tester Thank you very much for your time and efforts!
Amazing set up. You are so thorough in your planning and execution. Nothing left to chance. Just purchased a 2018 FXHO and live on a canal in SW Florida. Your video(s) are an inspiration and we will start with the second battery, the 1-2 switch and go from there. Many thanks...
Wow, I had no idea they made those kinds of accessories for PWC's. I knew folks fished from them but you're certainly taking it to a completely different level. The only question that was in my mind was the stability thing but you answered that one. It's way beyond anything I'd ever do but it looks very cool.
Nice I would recommend switching the carabineer that holds the cooler on to something stronger. Key ring clips like yours are only rated for mabey 100 pounds. You don't want that thing flying off!
I would get a Blue Seas 7601 so that you can charge the accessory battery while running the engine. The stator would charge both batteries and then switch off when your using the accessory so you don’t run down the start engine battery
Thats a great set up. You've thought of everything & more. I had an issue on my ski where the rack fell off as my turn buckle (same as yours) snapped. I swapped to a stainless steel, endless loop ratchet strap & also a stainless steel safety chain & shackles.
Yup, noticed it rite off. The forward rod holders & the front spot lights block it. Seeing this vid , I would mount the front bar slightly higher with the spot lights just below the bar. Live & learn. Still a great vid!
Hey just so you know even though you have lights put on jet ski, it can not be used at night. Per florida law it can only be operated from sunrise to sunset.
Yea, bolting those flood lights right in the way in your Nav lights is illegal. The arc of the forward nav lights should be an unobstructed 225 degrees. You have about 110 degree vis on those. I would ticket for sure.
This has to be the best setup I’ve seen on a jet ski. This is a nice set up and I am looking to get one myself. To be able to go shallow or deep is the best part of it. The jet ski is about 10,000 or so right . To add the rest of the material how much was it. Also, I agree with you when you say the Yamaha is the best way to go. Heard so many good things about it as well.
This is also my question. I’ve been told you can’t operate at night because the operator can fall off. If adding lights makes it legal after sunset, I’m adding lots of lights. Ocean and inland lakes should have the same rules?
When routing your transducer wire... You went through the water spout tell tale and then into the wet storage area... 1) What did you do with the water spout line? Did you re rout it outside of the rack? 2) Did you move the engine flush fitting or leave it in the factory wet storage area?
The hose for the spout was removed. The transducer is routed under the rear rack and enters the WaveRunner directly next to the flush fitting. I did not move the flush fitting. Thanks for watching and best of luck with your build. Send pictures.
Switch out that carabiner on the back rack mount. That's not gonna stand up over time, its a rather light duty clip, no where near as sturdy as the turnbuckle that it's connected to.
Very nice but if it was me I would had put a Drop down Bowie on both sides four stability when in open water that you can drop and pull up it will keep you more stable something small in the same design like the ones on planes that land on water
Correct me if I'm wrong or if it's different in Florida but Personal Water Craft are not allowed on the water before daybreak or after dusk. If it were as simple as adding navigation lights, everybody would be doing it.
How much weight did all that stuff add when you are out and fully loaded with gear and gas and everything , and does it make a noticeable difference in range draft or other performance areas? I know you said stability stayed good. Cool set ups y'all, definitely considering trading in my boat for a jet ski or seadoo build now :)
Would it be possible to take advantage of the smaller size of lithium batteries put a higher amp lithium battery (same voltage) to avoid putting two batteries?
Very professional job, on a side note even with lights PWC are not allowed to be operated at a time that would require lights. See Florida Statutes here is copied and pasted "Personal watercraft may not be operated from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise, even if navigation lights are used. Remember, both federal and state law requires the use of navigation lights from sunset to sunrise."
I looked through the inventory from fishmaster's arches. What exact kit did you buy. Looking at their options they dont have anything close to what i see in this video.
How do you get on once your in the water ,let say you fell off ? Your chances of you Tipping over on that side entrance specially with all that equipment? Yes yamaha is very stable but if you have to rush back on your going to struggle and tip over.
I live north of Miami and have the same waverunner. did you get these done by a shop down there in morada or was this all (or mostly) done yourself? I would love to just come down and have the guy do the same to mine if possible
I would image all these add on would effect the stability of the PWC dramatically. I know someone who rolled there's over and they weren't able to right it again as Pwc's are designed to do.
The WaveRunner is extremely stable and I have never has any issues, even in the roughest seas. They are designed to carry three adults and the extra weight I have is only equivalent to a very small person. In addition, it's all kept low. If the person you know had issues, it may have been related to a high center of gravity.
Awesome video! Amazing what you can do. What does that anchor thing do? I'm sure it's a dumb question.... only thing I didn't like about the video was the 2 people in the background "trying" not to be in the video.... get rid of them it was really annoying, especially the douchbag standing at the garage door with his arms up... I mean your making a TH-cam video... he couldn't leave for a while.....
With your dual battery setup can u tell me what batteries i used, any modification to Hull? Two smaller dry cell sealed batteries? Etc. trying to get our dealer to do it but he isn’t sure he can. Just trying to get ur setup.
Great videos & very informative. Im looking at 2020 Yamaha vxho model in the upcoming year & was curious on custom arches that are not so big around. To me it would seem more streamline, less top heavy, & more room if you went with smaller width arches. Please let me know if this could be option & if there is special reason your using that size width. Appreciate any feedback & love watching all your videos, great job.
Thanks for the kind words. I would go with an FX model as the hull is more V shaped and makes a big difference on the open water. The Arch is bigger than my prior ski fabrications but does not make it top heavy. The aluminum is super light weight. The wide arch was the only size sold at the time of ski fabrication.
@@dpbaynon Appreciate the feedback. I do not see anyone fabricating an outside/outer cooler attachment holder to frame arches to utilize the standup rear deck space for offshore/inshore fishing. Like an outer raised holder where you could still get in from stepdown, to utilize that rear deck space for standing/leaning on arches for fishing purposes. You would have to extend out further the arches but you could utilize that room much better it would seem. So many options, you gotta love it. Keep videos coming bro, thanks.

Wow beautiful machine I thought i had bought a dream come true john boat for myself n kids go fishing on took forever to save up for a 25hp tiller for only someone to steal it from us less then a week broke my kids heart man
seems really nice, I have a question about the transducer mount. Does using/ blocking the waterspout with the transducer cable cause any overheating problems?
