I love it that you guys just say screw it were going anyway, rain and all...nothing like some homecourt to brighten your day...looks like a cool area...when the BUGS start is never fun..great trip report fellas
Hello my hiking friends, how is the dynamic duo? That was a pretty hike in, very plush and green. You gentlemen are very well organized. I am really sorry that I missed another dinner invitation. The food really looks yummy. Be safe out there and always have fun. 🤗
I like the quick release on those fanny packs. That's a solid camp dinner I have some venison goulash for my trip next weekend. It's nice to have a place close by for those quick trips.
I have a ridgerunner and it's definitely the most comfortable way to sleep in the woods😉 Regular underquilts work well with some simple mods. They are heavy though and really require a large tarp in rough weather. My two cents 🤷♂️ Wish I could eat like that every trip😂👍
Not a bad 18 hour window So you can pull off a very quick hike so you can get home And spend the day with your mom good for you 2 That venison did look pretty good
Went there a few weeks ago and did the long loop. At the end there I saw Andy with the OR Hellium II. I said to myself a while ago I use the frog toggs so little I don't need to spend any more money on a better jacket. Then yesterday my gear disease got me.
@@SchillBrothersOutdoors I didn't pay full price but still not as cheap as I wanted. Found it about $20 cheaper than what REI charges. I went to REI first and tried them on and XL is my size. I found a lot of "great" sales on size small of course.
That was a good video another great trip! Even short ones of course can be fantastic, sometimes especially so You guys got to stop showing the custom LiteAF stuff!....Pretty sure he’s too busy for custom right now and that’s just a damn tease LOL Helinox chair bag is cool. Trying to save up for a “L” version for my dwindling yet still husky frame. Lol I hear if you get a Doritos tattoo somewhere on your body that you get 3% off all Doritos products! Lmao Be well lads! Love the vids Craig
How are you guys liking that shallow depth-of-field? I’ve been trying out something similar, and have found that it can give extra nice footage, but it definitely increases the difficulty of filming
I like the look - at the end of the day we are somewhat limited by the lenses we want to carry. This is shot on 22mm and that's the best we can really do on the M series without sacrificing aperture which I refuse to do! Definitely harder to film with tho but you get used to it. Wayyyyyy better than the 28
When I lived down there, went to Hocking College. I hiked the 5 miles loop barefoot with a friend! Oh I miss southeastern Ohio so so much. :(
Impressive
Like the video! Just came up randomly on my feed and I saw that it was wildcat hollow and I got excited, it brought back fond memories.

Thanks!
Cool AF chair cover! Chris has to put that on his site.
If there’s enough demand he might. But his packs are his bread and butter
Nice video. I was there the week after you and it was quite the mudpit. No rain though. I did the long loop, was a good hike.

Venison goulash? Now you’ve got me thinking
Nice quick trip and a really good meal. Take care, Al
Thanks Al!

That is excellent info! I’ve seen some of the mods for underquilts. Why didn’t you take that hammock to Dolly Sods ?
Schill Brothers Outdoors it's heavy. With the warbonnet superfly tarp the whole setup is just over 3lb.
Love those quick ones, just to get away for a few hours. The venison looked awesome!! I'm gonna have to do that short loop!😎😎
Nice Hike

Good stuff, another Columbus fan. Thank you
And it's raining here lol

You can find the Helium II on sales all over the place too, don’t pay full price.

Aggressive Summer 2019! Are you still hitting the PCT at the OR/WA boarder?
; )

Shout out to Chris at Liteaf...you guys have become fanny pack test pilots. The meal looked amazing. Did you hunt the deer too?
Sure did
Just found this channel. Where do you guys drive from? I’m driving from Cleveland.
Central Ohio! Thanks for watching!
I went backpacking in indiana yesterday. It's just as wet.
How are you guys liking that shallow depth-of-field?

@danbecker “What’s going on, guys?” Love it.
did you filter your water or bring enough for the trip. I see on the all trails app it say not to drink the water even if filtered
Buying new hammock can be addictive particularly when you are looking for the most comfortable lay.
Sure is! We don’t have any experience with bridge hammocks and want to check one out.
Are you guys planning to do a road trip to meet up with Frozen on the AT? Come on, how about a little trail support.
Super soggy, but beautiful!!!
You Guys are badass foul weather backpacking Ninjas!! Luv the vids! But chairs are for squares.
Hahahaha I’m fine being a square
@@SchillBrothersOutdoors Me too, I love my chair and I'm glad I'm not the only one to take it out in da woods.
Spicy Chilli Doritos are my favorite!
“I don’t think we’re going to make coffee”
I have no idea what those words mean when arranged in that order.
Best dorito flavor by far!
Fit the fanny pack into the waist belt of the pack as an option maybe???
Great idea!
I don’t understand why you just don’t combine resources and buy a compound to live at together.
Given enough time, my gear starts to smell like old shoes and @$$.
Hahaha it means you’re using it then!
