- Morning Fam!
Here is the DIY tutorial for the foil jeans I’m obsessed with! I got everything from hobby lobby but I’m sure you can find them at a Joanns fabric as well.
1. Acrylic Gesso - Gesso acts as a primer and helps the foil stick to the jeans. I wanted a white background on my jeans but It also comes clear so if you’re not feeling the white.
2. Foil Transfer Sheets- I used these Cricut foil transfer sheets but there are other brands. And they come in a zillion colors. Just google foil transfer sheets
3. A paint brush and iron- for the obvious
Ok, so all you do is paint the gesso on your jeans then lay the foil sheets on top. Shinny side UP. Then iron. Some folks I read use parchment paper on top. I assume so the iron doesn’t get covered in gesso. If it does, It comes off.
I ironed for about 2 mins. I just kept pulling the pieces back to make sure the foil transferred over, if not, I kept ironing until it did.
DASSIT!
Super simple. Let me know if you will give this a try! - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
