@@blucllrmn Exactly!!!! How could ONE man murder all those children without being detected. The only people who could murder that many children in that area at the time without seemingly going undetected (Because the police and FBI are a part of that group) is the Klan. PBS did a documentary on it a while back. I wish I had the foresight to record or order that video for my records.
I saw Wayne Williams come into the Dipper Dan's ice cream shop at Stewart Lakewood shopping center summer 1980. I was 14 and worked there until my encounter with him. Wayne Williams came in twice, the second time with a young boy under 13. I didn't know at the time he was the murderer but I recognized him again after they arrested him.
I remember this case very well. I also remember how the Black community was quick to point the fingers at Caucasians. A white man approaching black children in predominantly black neighborhoods would have been noticed.
They were inclined to believe it was a W-yte perp because the Atlanta Suburban area had a history of Klansmen activity during that time Era (late 70s - early 80s). There were even Wyte officers in the investigation that thought it was the Klan. All the victims accept for one girl were young boys and adult men of colour. A demographic the Klan would target. These murders all immediately occurred soon after the city of Atlanta had just elected their first Mayor of Colour, and he had big plans ultimately building the city's first International Airport and bringing in business. Atlanta was becoming an international hub. This insighted hostility from prejudice residents who were scared of "loOsInG gOsh dArN city" to the Ethnic community. Although it is apparently not the case and Wayne is in prison. Instead of getting overly sensitive about the situation you should think about context. Geez.

Williams' alibi wasn't that he was at a nightclub. He said he was looking for the home of a singer he was going to audition. He didn't have an exact address and claimed he had pulled over at a gas station to call for directions but the number was out of service. He gave the name of the alleged singer to police, who said they couldn't find her and didn't think she existed.
Williams did say that he was looking for a woman named, "Cheryl Johnson" that night, but when interviewed by the police later, he told them that he had left a nightclub, the "Sans Souci Lounge" then headed to Ms. Johnson's home.

I think it's really important that series like this one, Forensic Files, FBI Files...etc. continue to be made, and continually updated with what kinds of new tools we have at our disposal to catch these people. Keep people's intrigue going, as well as interest in the field of forensic science.

Yes. they are doing a great job. putting the vicious criminals away, but the job will not be completely done until these criminals are being executed. no point keeping them in prisons and feeding them.
These murderers were babies loved by their parents charming and sweet. Wonder what could cause someone to do something like this. Would be interesting to see what took place in the lives of these people as they were growing up. Humans are inherently evil. The pain they cause innocent people.
That is rarely the case.I've gathered from watching true crime documentaries and shows that serial killers have approx. the same combination of factors occur in their early life. Many of them have had a TBI- traumatic brain injury due to an accident or because of some trauma while in the womb. They almost always have had some type of neglect &/or abuse in their childhood also. Those two common traits have been known to create a serial killer but when you add a mental defect that predisposes them for violence.Having a parent(s) with personality disorders such as anti-social or go from zero to explosive rage within minutes have been said can be passed down.Personally I have only heard of one maybe two killers that didn't suffer some sort of child abuse or neglect. Those cases I believe the person had one or more serious traumatic brain injuries at some point.
People without a real connection to The Almighty spiritually are prone to a demon possessed mind. Spiritual bankruptcy. We are all Spiritual beings that need to be fed spiritually.
And some people want to defund the police? Who will do what these excellent officers do to solve such crimes. I stand with our law enforcement officers!
The police. You ignorant trumpanze. NOBODY wants the police to stop solving murders... most police WANT to be doing this exact type of work. Instead they're delegated to meter maids, reviving ods, responding to homeless people shitting on sidewalk. It's the equivalent of a fire fighter going through all the training and courses only to realize 90% of the job is getting kittens out of trees. We have armed military trained officers responding to shit you dont need a gun for and often times the mere fact they're there situations get escalated. When you're a hammer everything looks like a nail.
And in every episode, they say 'the fibre found on the victim, when examined under forensic microscope detected a red tinge and it had a unique tri-lobal structure' Almost all synthetic carpet fibres have the same cross-sectional shape and colour.
Worst serial killer? Let´s see...I would say that if he was "worst", he should have had botched each and every attempt to kill somebody. He did not, so as a serial killer, I would say, that he was pretty efficient, and capable. Unfortunately.

@Cranky Corner The most prolific substantiated modern serial killer is Pedro López. Born in Colombia, he raped and killed young girls in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, eventually confessing to 300 such murders.
Wayne Williams swears he's innocent so why the murders stopped once he got locked up, he must have been strong for the way he murdered youngmen. the murders were so horrific that it spread to NYC even people of color were scared even though the murders were in Atlanta Georgia, at first the black community said it was a white man but boy were they surprised when it turned out to be a blackman not a white man as they first said it was. wayne is so lucky he was spared the death penalty. prior to the Atlanta murders the son of sam had NYC in a uproar. I swear NYC was going crazy youngwomen were off the streets at a certain time except the ladies of the night they were forced either by their drug addiction or the pimps made them walk the streets or get a beating from the pimps.
What’s interesting in murder cases, when the accused is thin and lanky, etc. it’s just assumed they couldn’t push or knock ppl down, but when you approach someone, they’re guard is down and very easy to attack.
The last victim was killed while the police were watching. They saw him pick the guy up and when he tossed the victim off the bridge police were under the bridge. WW is guilty.

They change the names of a lot of the victims and many of the killers. They’d rather not get sued by the criminals families because in the US people are very sue happy and might actually win lol.
Wayne Williams convicted himself. He should have never taken the stand. His arrogance and holier than thou attitude and short temper revealed itself and that's what convicted him.
Jeanette, You’re absolutely right! You have to understand, the FBI Profilers predicted sooner or later, he’d explode & he’d want to get the story out HIS WAY! He was dumb from the beginning. Inviting news reporters to his home as long as his face wasn’t shown. Now you tell me, “Would you trust a News reporter with those conditions??” Plus he gave them a resume, false at that! They knew his address & people who knew Wayne would automatically recognize his voice. The Profilers predicted this. He wanted to be known. His arrogance was on full display. Even though his Lawyer told him to let the “Real Wayne Williams” out, he had no problem with it. He was enjoying the spotlight, letting the police chase him around Atlanta. And Who would go to the Mayor’s Mansion & yell outside of it?? The FBI Profilers, If you remember predicted EVERY SINGLE THING he did. Even though some of the victim’s Mothers later said they didn’t believe he killed their child, I do. There was too much circumstantial evidence including the Fibers, Him being the only car on the bridge when the “splash” was heard was a dead giveaway along with Nathaniel Cater’s body being found 39 hours later with the fibers found that matched his bedroom’s carpet then him lying about being at a club & getting a female’s number, his dog husky’s hair being on some of the victims & people saying they saw him with Cater at a Movie theatre the night he was caught on the parkway bridge. Besides the outburst in court, It was too perfect that the greenish fibers which were a specialty carpet sold at a few places just so happen to be at a suspect’s bedroom home. It’s like detectives finding a gun & the bullets pulled from the body matches the bullets shot from the gun due to straition marks from said gun. People & African American Cops started to catch on once he was named a suspect. I was 8 & 9 years of Age and what they said was absolutely right. No Black Child would trust & enter a Caucasian Man or woman’s automobile, knowing black children are being killed and although I’m not prejudice, I 100% completely agree with that assessment. Which is why Williams would be completely trusted in an African American Neighborhood or Housing Complex. It’s really too bad adults didn’t realize this until Williams was a suspect, but it’s absolutely true. I’m from The Bronx & although New York is in the North, us kids were as scared as if it was happening in our neighborhood. I’ll never forget, Our beloved Caucasian Science teacher brought up the subject about who the Killer may be. She said 5 months before Williams was named the suspect, If you were offered a ride home from a “black person” or a “White person”, Who would you choose? Now my school was half African American & half Latino American, sprinkled with a few Italian Americans. Every person raised their hand to accept the ride from the African American. At the moment, We didn’t understand what Miss Leeds was getting at until months later when she finally explained. She said, She suspected from the jump that the killer was an African American Male strictly on “The trust factor”. She was SO right. You know how as an adult, You’ll always will remember a certain teacher because of the way they taught, how they treated you, for some reason. I’ll always remember her because she wasn’t only right but she was smart & loved by us kids. Kids were being killed for over 15 months & she was intelligent enough to know a “black man” was doing this when even the Atlanta Cops suspected a “White” Man & her reasons were correct, If you REALLY thought about it. Although the Ku Klux Klan was brought into the mix after Williams was convicted, I STILL believe he’s the Killer although I don’t think he killed those 2 little girls included in the list as “Murdered & Missing Children”. You’d have to be a pretty Bally Mutherphukka to climb into an apartment & abduct a little kid with other people sleeping nearby…
I was in Atlanta at this time. There is a story to be told....intelligent people said there is more to this story. Of course, I don't know; Atlanta was one of my stops in my twenties.
When I was 10, this guy was dumping bodies everywhere. One wound up about 3-4 miles from our house. Me and my friends parents wouldnt even let us go outside. I still dont understand why he only got charged with 2 counts.

This man did not kill 27 people. This man was framed. And ex KKK member came forth and told them who killed those kids and they still did not do anything about it. This is a cover up.

While walking down a very dark city street, I was once attacked by two younger white males (note: I am also a white male.) One of the two had a very tiny fist, and he punched it directly into my right eye, causing my eye to bleed. I made my way down the street to a nearby convenience store, where I contacted my local city police. Anybody with two *good* eyes could see that my eye was bleeding. However, when I later sourced the officer's police report, he only wrote ONE WORD into the description. That word was 'harassment'. I then followed through and found out that, since a Police Officer is NOT a Medical Professional, they do not have the credibility (in the "eyes" of the Courts; bad pun) to render any type of Medical Diagnosis. Furthermore, the Police Officers of *my* NYS city are regularly coached, by an internal city department referred to as 'Corporate Counsel', to always fill-out their police reports in such a way as to avoid any possibility of a Law Suit being filed against the city. As a result, any situation that a NORMAL Police Officer would describe as 'assault', when it happens in *my* city, gets written into the associated police report as mere 'harassment'. THE RELEVANT POINT TO MY STORY is that, here in NYS, a trained Police Officer does not hold the credibility to offer an opinion as to whether an observed *bleeding* wound is serious or not, meanwhile, at a Drinking Bar, a mere BARTENDER is authorized, by the State of New York, to decide whether or not somebody drinking alcohol *in* his bar is "good-to-go" when it comes to DRIVING. [question]: In NYS, why does the Medical Credential of a *mere bartender* _outrank_ the Medical Credential of a trained *police officer* ? [question]: In the video above, why did the BARMAID keep serving the two guys ALCOHOL?
I can't answer why one outranks the other officially but I believe it has to do with the situation. The officer was only called and has made an initial decision when arriving, whereas a bartender has had time to observe individuals and their actions over a period of time giving them more time to make a decision. Also, in your case, why did you not receive any medical attention from EMS that is called for by the officers. They are trained and could provide the needed expert testimony to provide the officer with the needed information for him to include that, in fact, you were assaulted. They will not charge you for them coming out to see you when the police calls them. They are only coached as so, only because there has had to be occurrences in which they were sued over their judgement and what they included in their reports.
@Donnell Okafor almost every time someone comments on a crime they’re involved in they mention more facts than normal, including ethnicity etc. I think you’re extrapolating something the op wasn’t implying.

There are latent murderrers walking free among us. They just await for opportunity/trigger. Driving down a 15 y.o girl on a bicycle, raping her and stabbing her. The police should take active measures to identify latent murderrers, before they become potent. Send out a bait policewoman dressed as a kid. Bait/lure the latent murderrer into action , catch him before he becomes potent. It is very disturbing to think that latent murderrers walk free among us.

If you go back in time, in the 19th century there was the "Atlanta Ripper" when the dust cleared, 20 black women died at the hands of a sick person. Those murders was never solved either. One thing for sure, one person didn't do those murders.

Wayne Williams was arrested, tried, and convicted for killing 2 grown men... where is the justice for the families of the children that were killed
That is the big question.
He was the patsy
@@blucllrmn Exactly!!!! How could ONE man murder all those children without being detected. The only people who could murder that many children in that area at the time without seemingly going undetected (Because the police and FBI are a part of that group) is the Klan.
Geez.
That's how Wayne Williams got away with it for so long. I'm glad he was caught before more kids died.

Wayne Williams convicted himself. He should have never taken the stand. His arrogance and holier than thou attitude and short temper revealed itself and that's what convicted him.
He also changed his stories alot

Lawsuits.
I also have a lead on your tiny hand man that punched you in the eye, I saw him in scary movie 2, hes working as a butler.
@@ispartacus1337 I thought he was the bigger man and walked away....
@Donnell Okafor almost every time someone comments on a crime they’re involved in they mention more facts than normal, including ethnicity etc. I think you’re extrapolating something the op wasn’t implying.
Sweet lessons to learn
I only got one question why would anyone wants to be a killer criminal what the Hell is going on with the human kind
wait wait... the police don't have time for stakeouts like that. the last video I just watched on this channel, they absolutely knew who the killer was, but the guy was let go on a technicality. the police were quoted saying they don't have the resources to watch the guy. what's the connection? money.
if police first stop assuming crimes from racial point of view and be more open minded they will resolve cases much quicker
There are plenty of Black & Hispanic serial killers now, so hopefully they think differently.
If black people could first stop assuming black serial killers are innocent cause they're black and blaming racism on everything.
@@jamespope7669 yes that too all this racism stuff and racist mindset is ridiculous
I read two books and saw documentaries. He did it.
The background music makes this impossible for me to watch.
So many crime experts and film producers commenting here
Alyson onOahu ahh, the comment section, the realm of first class experts, we’re so lucky to be surrounded by such brilliant individuals, lol.
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I felt this
I know right?
Instead of just appreciating ..demn people ask for too much
Guilty as Hell
Woo-Hoo for Forensics!!
And Smart People too!!
New Detectives is usually well reenacted...but " Real Responders " might have goofed up a bit on this last one; SO YOU CAN DRIVE INEBRIATED TO THE SPEED OF 95 MPH , AND KILL YOUR BUDDY IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AND BE OUTIN S E V E N YEARS? Condolences to his buddy's FAMILY who'll be missing their son for the next 70 years, right ?
WRONG. BTW PLEASE STOP THE JAMACA'S DRUM PATTERNS YOU think are exciting us; they're ANNOYING us so we can't even hear the DETAILS.
I don't care what you say, but this man did not kill all those children. These children went to somebody that they trusted a public figure of authority. Black kids just don't trust everybody but they do trust, policeman fireman the postman back in these days. Kids knowing the children are getting murdered they're not just going to run off with somebody that they don't know a stranger but they would trust who their parents tell them they can trust
Absolutely!! We are talking about kids that were "street tough", they weren't getting snatched off the streets of Atlanta!! They were willingly leaving with people they knew, acquaintances, neighbors, people in authority!! That's why they were caught off guard!! They weren't going anywhere with strangers!!
27 people before getting caught, This must’ve been around 10.000 BC or something because I’m having a difficult time processing.
That’s some good police work there!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
No it wasn't. Williams didn't kill all those people
@@tjones617 omg i hope you are joking
@@snappyego908 like I said. He didn't killed them all. I do believe some wb's killed most of them. Hell, if not all.

In the second episode, they showed the police trooper, then the police car driving into the place, followed by the forensics mobile laboratory driving in within with total nonchalance, and one forensics guy declaring 'one must be careful that initial evidence like tyre marks must not be disturbed, even by the police'. It was so strange, and unbelievable :-D
It's reenactment
Docudrama,!
Mind Hunter was a great series.
But when 4-5 serial killers are trans/gay/pdfile, it's no surprise the show was cancelled.
After watching many of this make me feel to join as an investigator yes
Shame about the irritating background music in some scenes.
The series Mindhunters!
I have no ads whatsoever

I still have doubts about the guilt of Wayne Williams
I remember this one. He ruined so many lives. Most people thought the killings were racial motivated.. May be it was. He could have hated his own self
He seemed like he hated poor black people
