Good for you! I’m a psychologist and have always been interested in criminals and criminal investigation, especially as regards psychopathy, but I couldn’t deal with death scenes and murdered people. There’s just no way that I could keep my feelings separate. If you think you could cope with all that, the FBI would be a good place to learn, after you get degrees in psychology if you want to be a profiler.
Given the constantly improving technology able to break down and compare evidence found at crime scenes, on victims, one might think potential predators, murderers would think very carefully before going forward with their crime. Unfortunately, it's likely many of them are too driven to kill, and/or believe they'll never get caught Some of them don't.
The best thing when a ctime solved is to know first the name of a suspect that comes from a detail of those witnesses then the idea roll to have further invistagation in addition to prove its accountability in the case.
