You do realize most of the people who buy these homes are Dominicans living abroad, they are buying homes in their native country as investments or homes for them and their families. The others are other foreigners who buy these also as investments since they can be managed by other companies. Yes, some people move to the DR and other places for a slower and higher quality of life. Just because someone lives in a country thats considered a first world country doesn’t mean they have a better quality of life. Stop thinking in black and white my friend.
