I understood everything, it's a simple relay in the immobilizer that gives voltage further to your car, and you just bypass that relay on the board with a piece of wire. No nuclear physics here, just simple electrics.
2023 dec.on a" Ask A Mazda Mechanic " web site he mentioned how to remove it completely, a lot of 2000 to 2004 mpv,s didn't have tds. It was pretty simple, like one or two jmpr wrs. Pretty small material though,a soldering gun might be too hot 🔥🥵.
This is so awesome, and hilarious! 8*)Laughed a few times! Sharing with my boyfriend, who makes audio equipment and works with circuit boards all the time. I know he'll get a kick out of you putting that wire to all those points and traces on the board, learning what does what, and getting shocked in the process, lol :) Learning is hard! So, I have a nissan pathfinder and the immobilizer unit is apparently no good. Any idea on what it takes to fix that or what it's going to cost?
wow did you get lucky! You could have injected +12 volts into a sensitive part and killed it (like the ECU). My guess is you "hot wired" something that was denied power by that module because the data system was not working correctly, Nice hack tho.
gas i have the same prob with mine had to call auto electrician then a tow truck but by looking at ur vid u figured it out i wudda set mine on fire b4 doin what u did hahhahahahha but fair play it worked ausie so if anything its funny but frustrating hahahha
Bro I’m thinking the same thing I’m having a security issue on mine. Well my old pcm was but i got a new pcm and igniton and imobilizer from the junkyard an was good to go for about a year or so car fired right up as soon as i did the swap and then bam this ecu took a crap so i was thinking of trying this guys method on my oem pcm, imobilizer and igniton i still have it and see if i can save myself a couple hundred dollars from going to the dealer. I have a 04 g35 by the way.
Hard to hear your voice at some parts and 240p video was difficult to see what you're doing. Sadly, I gave up watching after 2mins. Good effort though. Thanks.
Believe it or not but this video is probably the most helpful out of all of the ones I watched

Thank you brother for your helpful insight painstakingly found by yourself. I appreciate it..
Fully Recommend. Just tried the bros method & it works..
Kudos to you my bro
So what exactly did u do? And on what car?
I remember when the immobilizer got stuck and by the time it arrived at the garage it freed itself. They are a pain the arse.
I had no problem keeping up with your video, I More useful info outuvit than any other, thanks
“You will need a screwdriver, a piece of tape, some wire and a degree in nuclear physics!!!”

Got it right....try to sit-in in the class room of Albert Einstein

You can go to the wires and follow them and you will see 2 wire that go somewhere else cut them and hook them back up to the original wires
Good man....impressed
Very cool. I’m curious will this work for a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix
What make & model vehicle is being worked on in this video? It looks like a 2000 range rover hse, but i can't see enough of it to be sure.
Fantastic thank you mate for your help us all with knowledge and your experience trip 💪🫡
Cheers
