    I appreciate this. But is a video explaining how to cut the immobilizer out of the equation to much to ask?

    2023 dec.on a" Ask A Mazda Mechanic " web site he mentioned how to remove it completely, a lot of 2000 to 2004 mpv,s didn't have tds. It was pretty simple, like one or two jmpr wrs. Pretty small material though,a soldering gun might be too hot 🔥🥵.

    Imagine if this idiot didn't use a potato ( with a dirty lens ) to film this - making it so that no one can see anything at all. AND - I highly suggest NOT doing ANYTHING that he shows in this video. I mean just look at it and all the incredible stupidity. Opening the electronics in your car and randomly connecting things with wires is not only dangerous - but profoundly stupid - could shock you - burn up resistors and other items on the boards - and will highly likely end up being incredibly expensive to REPAIR later ( by someone competent sane and intelligent. )

    You can go to the wires and follow them and you will see 2 wire that go somewhere else cut them and hook them back up to the original wires

    This is so awesome, and hilarious! 8*)Laughed a few times! Sharing with my boyfriend, who makes audio equipment and works with circuit boards all the time. I know he'll get a kick out of you putting that wire to all those points and traces on the board, learning what does what, and getting shocked in the process, lol :) Learning is hard! So, I have a nissan pathfinder and the immobilizer unit is apparently no good. Any idea on what it takes to fix that or what it's going to cost?

    wow did you get lucky! You could have injected +12 volts into a sensitive part and killed it (like the ECU). My guess is you "hot wired" something that was denied power by that module because the data system was not working correctly, Nice hack tho.

    • @t2johan
      @t2johan ปีที่แล้ว

      Cant kill ECU from hotwire IMO so thats safe:)

    Man I think you could of been more informative in detail instead of assuming it’s obvious to most of us, I think that was ignorant to assum that. Many people never used these things or even seen them maybe where you live but not the majority of people elsewhere , next time don’t assume anything is know to everyone.

      Bro I’m thinking the same thing I’m having a security issue on mine. Well my old pcm was but i got a new pcm and igniton and imobilizer from the junkyard an was good to go for about a year or so car fired right up as soon as i did the swap and then bam this ecu took a crap so i was thinking of trying this guys method on my oem pcm,imobilizer and igniton i still have it and see if i can save myself a couple hundred dollars from going to the dealer. I have a 04 g35 by the way.
