I'm chilling on my youtube home page and this came up 2 minutes after you posted it. Sick video again and all the food looks so good, a little bit salty though, I'm fasting yesterday and today for an endoscopy lol.

I absolutely second this comment, Mannie & Bo's is in the hidden-gem category. Doesn't look like much, but the place hasn't changed in twenty years, everything on the menu is excellent, they don't skimp on anything, and they have some outstanding weekday/happy-hour specials; two can easily eat for under twenty bucks. I literally have a leftover calzone-half in the fridge right now.
right i was thinking the same thing ski trip time was beau joe time. and that meant crust with honey. i come from a mixed home so my pizza is soaked in cholula and dipped in ranch. but beau joes was different experience that fluffy cakey crust in honey was the attraction.
also from chicago and everytime i visit my mom in colorado since she moved a few years ago we always try the best spots to eat. thank you for the recommendations ima definitely check it out when i go out there this weekend.

I have heard of it but I’m going to have to add it to the list of places to try! I usually wake up too late for breakfast so it’s a commitment to try breakfast spots😅
Great video, Mike! I'm heading to Denver in a week (Late July), any suggestions for dealing with altitude issue, bro? I'm coming from Boston - basically the same level as the fish swim at, lol.
@@MikeGrimm ah man. It's like Denvers hidden gem fast food joint. They do Mexican fast food. Plenty popped up around Denver, but the original is off 38th. The go-to is just a simple smothered cheese fries. Lines are always long, from open till about 3am. But it's a good spot.

Cassa Bonita is a good one for Mexican food. It is on West Colfax in the JCRS Shopping center. Try that place out. Also try Platte River Bar and Grill on South Santa Fe Drive. The Mexican Food is great and anything else there is delicious as well!!
What are you talking about? Casa Bonita has the worst food in colorado, and thats not just my opinion but the majoritys opinion. The guys who made Southpark bought it and are gonna change the food tho cause they know how bad it is.
@Starla Dodge you must not actually live in Denver, only visited Casa Bonita once. They've literally been closed since Covid. I passed last week and there's still guard rails up for renovations. Also watching the local news earlier this year they were suing someone for putting their plans out. See I actually live here And yes casa Bonita is shit. Obviously you don't know good food
@@godjhaka7376 actually I've lived in the Denver metro area my whole life and live 2 blocks from casa Bonita on oak which are both in lakewood. Worked there when I was 18 as a waiter and was a diver for 1 year when I was 23. Also I know the new owners personally, Matt stone and trey parker aka the guys who made southpark, trey is buying my grandmas property in morrison and because the food was soo bad they are completely changing it. See what assuming gets you! All tho taste can be opinion but you have shitty taste in Mexican food. Also check the ratings on the food since the 90s. So whatever you DID like about the food will most likely change anyway.
Denver really is a lackluster food town...if you notice, a few of the good places you tried (Cheba Hut, Voodoo donuts) are not even Denver original places. Blue Pan pizza is legit; for breakfast I suggest you try Wendel's on Tennyson or Bacon Social House in Sunnyside. For a good burger, try My Brother's Bar off 15th and Platte. Forget about Mexican food there....it's all bland and flavorless. Fire on the Mountain in West Highland and in Wash Park have some pretty good wings. That's really it. Anything else you find that is decent is gonna be a chain, like the Olive Garden or Chili's LOL
Thanks to Dr Ubaja the spell caster, who make my wife back to me, I was in serous issues with my broken home, now I'm leaving well with my wife, Thanks to dr Ubaja -
As a Denver native I'm a little disappointed in this video. Denver is known its style of green chile. With that in mind, you should have done a local Mexican restaurant like Torres or Las Dalicias. Tacobe Native Tacos would have been a good spot to try. And my brotha, you have to put honey on the crust when you go to Beau Jo's. That's what makes it Colorado style. Just a little critique. Hope you have a good day.
Thanks for the critique. I knew SW Colorado + New Mexico was known for green chile but I havent seen much of it here tbh. Ill have to try out one of those places. Also, I assumed they would give some honey with the Beau Jos so thats why I didnt have any. Hope you have a good day as well
Being from back east in Ohio and Pennsylvania, Denver's food scene is a disappointment. It's either Mexican, American, chain restaurants or ridiculously expensive steak houses. Back east, there are tons of family run Polish, Hungarian, Italian, German, Chinese places. Not to mention plenty of bars with great bar food. Nothing like that in Denver, unfortunately. Although a couple of good places were mentioned in this video.
Thanks to Dr Ubaja the spell caster, who make my wife back to me, I was in serous issues with my broken home, now I'm leaving well with my wife, Thanks to dr Ubaja -
I mean, as a denver native, thats sort of selling us short. Lots of other places are known for green chile, especially NM or AZ. We have a lot of great great restaurants serving food from literally everywhere! We are a huge cultural melting pot, especially asian and latin countries.
My wife and I be in Denver in October...hope to try at least 3 of the spots...great video bro
I appreciate that! Love to hear you’ll be checking them out
Me and my girl are visiting Colorado next month for the first time, thank you so much for the insight on places to try! You got yourself a new sub!
I’m here from California, I went to this place Biscuit Company and it was the best!!!!🤌🏼
Looks good can't wait.
Great video gonna try some of these out today !
Cherry Cricket (burgers). El Taco de Mexico (green chili). Pho Haus/Pho 95 (pho). Rosalee's/Hops&Pie (pizza).
I love Cherry Cricket and Hope & Pie I’ll have to try the rest!

Good video! The Detroit style pizza looks good
birria tacos are my fav! ill have to check out these recs
With Beau Jo’s you have to eat the crust with honey. Also, Try Mannie and Bo’s in golden for Pizza.
For some reason I thought the honey would come with the mountain pizza so I will definitely be trying that out next time I order

ski trip time was beau joe time. and that meant crust with honey. i come from a mixed home so my pizza is soaked in cholula and dipped in ranch. but beau joes was different experience that fluffy cakey crust in honey was the attraction.
I made a new comment and then saw this.... Yeah what this guy ^ said hahaha
2 things Denver is good at across the board. green chili and pho.

Going to Denver next month. Great vid I’m going to try all these places. You should of tried the Colorado Oysters
All of that food looks amazing. Hope I make it to Denver soon to try it.
Denver signature food would be a smothered green chille burito.
Great food! Can't wait to see the next upload.

bites of blono of denver 💪🏼 also have you tried jelly cafe? they had some fire donut holes when I visited a few years ago!

You look like that dude Patrick from something about Mary
When will be your next video?
Working on it! Since this video I started a new job so I’ve been working 6 days a week. Might have to make that 7th day my TH-cam day
Great video, Mike! I'm heading to Denver in a week (Late July), any suggestions for dealing with altitude issue, bro? I'm coming from Boston - basically the same level as the fish swim at, lol.
I like the ODB at VooDoo. And White Widow is usually my go-to at Cheeba.
Duude, you have to hit up The Original Chubby's. In Denver its off of 38th and Lipan, 38th and i25 area.
I will make sure to try it out/capture it in my next food video! This is the first time I’ve heard of it

Colorado Bison meat should be a specialty in Denver!
denver biscuit co is the best! 54thirty is a great rooftop with a view too
You’ll be seeing 54thirty in an upcoming video👀👀
Loved the video!! Have you had any good wings yet? I’m new to Denver, too.
Do a video of Denver’s oldest bars, restaurants, cafeterias, pubs, grocery stores, candy stores, etc….
That’s a great idea!
Got to try some awesome Green Chilli
Also Highland Tavern !!
A Nyquil donut is certainly interesting...
bruh you really put that rice crispy treat directly on a public table.
That was my apartment lol
Lol “one bite everybody knows the rules” “you just took two” “that’s the joke” 😂
She obviously needs to watch more stool prez

I love blue pan, but I don't like it delivered I think the crust steams to much on the drive. But ordering it in the restaurant is where it's at!
As a local I love me some cheba hut ❤❤❤

I know that’s more of a southwest CO thing + New Mexico..but I didn’t know that was something Denver was known for. You’re right…I had no clue!
