    Brian: I am watching your channel. My Norcold fire took out the entire inside because the ceiling turned into a broiler. I loved that CC and it took my heart with it when the tow truck left after nine hours getting it out of my T-shaped driveway. Sad day.

    I like the nice clean exterior of that coach. I like those Prevost looking from wheels on there too. I REALLY diggin the lights and electronics that Brian does. I want to add some to my coach as well. Having some LEDs going for the night rides is needed. Also I want to BALL on them with FULL LEDs on the bottom too at a campground next year. Brian I'm eager to see how you do it.

    Nice Country Coach! I'm most fond of the late 80s Prevost Country Coaches. Love that you moved away from the Marathon look. Oak is beautiful.
    As a former fire captain, the sound of a Detroit 8v92 brings back happy memories.
    Gotta help out, man! Subscribed. Have fun on the dirt! Motorhead always.

    Great advise from Brian about not rushing into a coach, I have been researching to purchase my first coach for 2 years, I retire next year, watching Andrew's video's and every other TH-camr's is a great help for me to make my final decision.
    Thank you all.

    Really great Brian,,,,how many women would want the curl in that hair Brian...my dad's at 86 still curls perfectly under the Cowboy hat...mom hated it too short... How great is it to care for the beauty of these wood coaches and not consider them gone and done and over the hill......thanks for sharing. Great job!!

    That’s wild. Nice work. Wanderlodges have a exhaust stack that runs up the corner of the back so the older ones (a few ) have been catching fire. So that’s a bit different than this with inside damage. Still they are 100K coaches and you can find them for 10Gs

    Is it a salvage since the insurance company wouldn’t let it go for $7000 if it wasn’t? It would be difficult to resell if it’s a salvage. It costs a lot more money to re-categorize as not a salvage. This should never be done by most normal people due to the risk of being stuck with a lemon.

    $22,500 into this coach. That's about right whereas you could purchase one for about that much. So, $7500 wouldn't necessarily mean he is ahead of the game.

    We bought a 2005 Dutchstar with 15,000 original miles for $3500.00 . Completely renovated and update interior, list includes, all new...2ac's, water heater, upgrade to residencial Fridge, microwave, cooktop,new sinks in kitchen and bathroom, toilet, shower door, replaced roof , skylights, vents. All new furniture and bedding, replace all hinges and door handles to brushed Nickel, had captains chairs recoverd in Flexsteel skins. And the for good measure we painted entire interior and did Laminate flooring throughout... AND COACH HAS 4 SLIDE OUTS . We estimate so far @$35k in it. Debating on having exterior painted now..

    I think Brian is vastly underestimating his hours - I've restored a bunch of cars and just masking can take 10 hours... I would guess he has at least 3 weeks into this at 60-70 hours/week. Probably more like a few hundred hours.

    • @sanfranciscobay
      @sanfranciscobay 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. He said 50 hours. I would estimate 2 months full time.
