They should take this ride and revamp it, you know, bring it back to it's glory days when everyone wanted to be at this ride, and music was playing, BOTH flumes were fully functional and FUN. They should make them longer, give them bigger drops, and theme the WHOLE area! I went to this ride on a SATURDAY and I have to say, it was depressing. Not a lot of people were there and it wasn't event that fun! Please, spread the word and get this flume back to it's glory days!
Both Flumes are functional, they just prefer using flume 2 over flume 1 because it's newer and has the camera. On really busy days they open both to accommodate for a high influx of guests.
Eh, not really. The water is shallow, and the all of the water in the track is flowing (i.e., not filthy). You're not going fast enough to really get hurt if another log hits you, and for the most part, the flowing water should keep you moving. As long as you follow safety instructions and wait for someone to help you out (don't jump like a dumbass), you should be just fine.
I used to get in the front of the log, and then when we went down the big hill, I’d throw my body forward and make the nose tip in the water at the bottom. The water would go over my head and soak the people behind me.
I can’t handle roller coasters.. mainly the big drops. I want to try and get my body used to the feeling and try and grow to like them. What rides would you recommend starting out on?
@@rosalandc.tippens3822 thank you! Definitely will have to try it next time I go. I can barely handle the drop on the mine train 😂 so good luck to me. My stomach is just so sensitive.. I hate the feeling
tht ride is fun especially if you and your friends are the only ones that are riding it or waiting in line. you get to ride it over and over again and have a funny face face-off and let the public laugh at your pictures
I waited 20 min and I wasn't even half-way through the line, then it got shut down for a while. I didn't get back in line, and it was my last time at sixsflags until I can go by myself.
Bummer! I'm surprised the line was so long, though. This is one of the rides that's usually under-appreciated. The Shock Wave is another. Everyone waits in long lines to ride the Titan when there may be no line at all for the Shock Wave. I'd ride the Shock Wave 5 times before someone lining up for the Titan got to ride once.
I know im late and someone has probaly already asnswered this question .This ride is usually open when they reopen the park after shutting it down on Jan 06 for the winter (or some of the winter) and they usually re-open at the end of march or beginning april
The best flume ride at any Six Flags Park was the Log Jammer at Magic Mountain. So sad and dumb for SF removing one the best and longest in the country; especially on the west coast.
I live in PA but I visit my family in Texas yearly so we always go to six flags. I live near a park called knoebels and the log flume there is honestly alot more fun, with more and higher hills. I went on this and it was kind of boring. :/
Matthew Morris Same, well I was born in Texas then we moved to PA then moved back to Texas and now we are in PA again and I'm actually kind of mad because now we don't always go to Six flags like we used to.
This ride is old and in need of repairs. The anamtronics figures have not worked for a very long time. The ride takes up a large amount of space and should be demolished.
You just got to love classic water rides like this one! Especially the final drops on them too!

Making it bigger and longer ruind the "oldest" theme to me, i enjoy this ride already.
This ride is classic... first log flume ride only at SFOT!
Fun fact this is the worlds oldest log ride
Taffyta Muttonfudge Operating still anyways.
world's
Oh wow I always thought six flags over Georgia's log Ride was the oldest. Very cool
Wonder what happened to the other flumes?

Im 54 but i remember when i was 11 in october at night this ride is awe full!!! I luv it!
AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing.
Thumbs up for all the Sharp uploads!
imagine if a log got a leak
That would be bad.

@hannah34xlove The Flume ride at Alton Towers opened in 1981, El Aserradero opened in 1963.
I like the speed of this ride. The bumpy hill is good too.
This must be like a Goldfish feels when you flush it down the toilet? Nice video.
yes.
This was my favorite ride when I was a kid in the 80's.I took my daughter to Six Flags and it wasn't even open.I was sad:(
im going to six flags over texas tomorrow wooo im excited
It’s a very tamed aquaman
I love this ride omg
The water is clean and the rapids are fierce folks. So hold on.😂😊
This ride is awsome
@imGlyde Policy Pond at Canobie Lake opened in 1982, nearly 20 years after this one.
Sharpproductions: The only person that can be in Florida and Texas..at the same time.
I havent gone there in YEARS hope i get to so this summer
the last drop on this log ride that was incredible.
Isn't that cool drop good.
I love this ride it's fast 16mph
Alex Chappell That's not fast. An average athlete like me can run 16 mph or close to it.
Isn't this made by Arrow Dynamics? And isn't this one of the few Arrow log flumes still in use?
Yes, and in fact it was the first log flume ever made.
I used to get in the front of the log, and then when we went down the big hill, I’d throw my body forward and make the nose tip in the water at the bottom. The water would go over my head and soak the people behind me.
This used to be my favorite ride and I can't even handle coasters, I don't know how it happened.

when I wrote this before on the very big drop it was fun
I got on this when I was three

El Aserradero
Park: Six Flags Over Texas
Opening Date: 1963
This and the mine train!
The water stinks they all do on aquaman, roaring rapids leaves you smelling bad
Thats how i like it.

@rollercoaster6flags yes you do!

it reminds me of the log ride at dollywood but they took it out
Yes it is, you can look it up on Wikipedia if you don't believe me ;)
How come they don't operate both log flumes??????????
1:19 the water looks so FRESH to drink!!
This is the 1968 flume, not the first flume next to it
Do you go on the rides by yourself? Or with someone you know? & all the parks you go too do you go by yourself or with family or something ? lol
its like 4 people that travel together i think cause in the vids i've only seen 3
ya does this ride open in spring break
I know im late and someone has probaly already asnswered this question .This ride is usually open when they reopen the park after shutting it down on Jan 06 for the winter (or some of the winter) and they usually re-open at the end of march or beginning april
Mickelle01 do they open on the 1st of june
Vanesa Sanchez it will definitely be open by then
Arent there 3 log rides?
I have got on this with my mom and uncle
did you see your picture :)
This is a classic but the water reeks.
I did this it was so fun!
The water smells like fish on that ride... EWH!!!
since your going all water themed, why dont you upload Believe? ;)
Is this ride on a track or just a floating log on the water ???
Michael Daniels There is no hidden track, you're just floating in the flume.
Sharp Productions except when your going uphill of course there is a track for the uphill...other than that its just floating
cool:-):-)

RIP Log Jammer. 40 years young. th-cam.com/video/YU0Z1mFVdZ8/w-d-xo.html
Considering this is Six Flags I'm surprised they haven't renamed it Aquaman the Ride.
There was an old aquaman and they are building a new one right now

This is a prototype, though. It holds the title of being the first log flume ever, having opened in 1963.

You should do Aqua Man!
Wow, do you even get a LITTLE wet on this flume?
I'm I the only person that skips to the drop?
I'm going on springbrack
2020 anyone?

Man after riding Splash Mountain at Disney World for the first time this log ride feels kinda boring
I was there two days ago and the water was nasty dirty and the ride was rusty and it just looked terrible
never been here
I rode this when I was around 8, I was scared.😐
I rode it when I was 6
cute
Do they have seatbelts?
+Isabella Bows No, but there are bars along the sides you can hang on to.
Oh ok have u been on the Bug's White Water Rapids (kinda like splash mountain) if so do they have seatbelts?
Isabella Bows I don't think I've been on one that has seatbelts. Here's Bug's White Water Rapids: th-cam.com/video/gm_UKshPECc/w-d-xo.html
Oh ok

its always closed these days
Because it's not summer..
If you're a comic fan you should get this joke this is like a side kick to the aqua man so I call it the aqua lad

*facepalm* lol

Boring Buhh Good Way To Get Some Pics Taken
That's not much of a splash.
What did you expect from the oldest log flume in the world?
That was boring..hahah Splash mountain is still the best for a log/water ride :3
Unlike the others, this ride has an excuse; this was the first ever log flume ever created.
This ride is old and in need of repairs. The anamtronics figures have not worked for a very long time. The ride takes up a large amount of space and should be demolished.
one of the worst water rides
