The top trim offers an impressive amount of tech and it looks small on the outside but big on the inside. The name Seltos comes from Greek Mythology, the son of Hercules was named Celtos, Kia decided to use the name for their new badass Seltos.

Yes the top trim has 10.2 inch. The base model offers an 8 inch screen
I love all the lighting. That's the very thing I look for to make sure the lights will be well seen in traffic
Kia and Hyundai are really killing it! Problem...they can't deliver enough cars. My neighbor walked into a Kia dealership, wait time for Telluride, 2 months.

I'll say this that given a recent video comparing the Crosstrek limited and the Forester mid trim sport, with the Forester creaming the Crosstrek at the same price point, if the Crosstrek comes out high on your test then I very well know Forester sport is my choice haha
I got the base model and I like it, just wish it had Sirius Satellite like my previous Kia did. That and I can't seem to figure out how to set automatic window to a different setting, not sure possible in the one I got. Oh, and barely any space in the glove compartment compared to my 2019 Soul as well as no compartment for my shades.
love the assorted LED lights so I'd likely get the ex that also has heated/leather wrap steering wheel + sunroof . Does anyone know if the LED lights are covered under 5 year warranty ? they are expensive to replace so thats a concern

How to piss off the typical off-road drivers. Install a light bar in the center gap below the tiger-nose grill. Leave everything else stock which makes it clear you’ll never go off-road and thus never need that light bar.

Decisions decisions 🤔 Kia Seltos or Mazda CX30?
Kia seltos
Seltos has more interior room, cargo and is cheaper. CX-30 has a superior interior, is quieter and has better handling.
If you want more cargo space, go for Seltos. If you want a comfortable car that will last you a long time and is well built, get the CX-30. Seltos has a ton of cheap plastic all over it, even in the highest trim. But it is a more peppy car and has a nice look compared to all the compact CUVs in the segment.
I went with the Seltos SX Turbo. It was down to the Seltos, Mazda, and Hyundai Kona to me. But when you compare all the features, the Seltos wins (get either the EX or the SX trim).
Damn we only get LED headlights on the SX in the US.

Monday doing it vs the Seltos
KIA Seltos rear Aircon vent blowing warm air when Aircon temperature is set at 25 degree celsius and outside environmental temperature is above 34 degree celsius, their service work shop claimed that is normal.
During the visit on 26 Apr 2021, inspection was carried out on the vehicle’s Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System; the values such as Ambient Temperature Sensor, Evaporator Temperature Sensor, photo sensor, In-car air temperature sensor and other related values that maintain the operation of the climatic air-conditioning system. We did not find any abnormalities in the values and all sensors and actuators are functioning normally and a diagnostic scan with the manufacturer’s diagnostic scanner did not report any diagnostic trouble codes. These data was also inspected and compared to 2 other similar vehicles and the performance was found to be similar and thus the vehicle’s air-conditioning system was judged to be operating normally.

I own a 2021 seltos ex premium (pretty the exact model you reviewed) I just want to mention you miss a few things and got a couple things wrong as well

It was a toss-up between this and the Mazda CX-30... I went with the CX-30 because of the interior but it was very, very close otherwise.
What turned me off of all the Mazdas were the lack of touchscreen, and how the display is angled in kind of a weird way, instead of facing directly towards you.
