I hadn’t done this hack in a while. If you shave the brake pads and the outer cone hub of the collet on the worm drive you should still be able to peddle and have no or minimal resistance. Sorry the way I said it on her you will loose your pedal and have to push start the bike.
@@cellerdoor2954 a solid plan. I’m trying to figure out how to put sealed bearings in as a replacement. Also have a heavier old school Bmx axle. Thanks for the comment and for watching. Best regards and Godspeed
just got my first coaster brake bike the first thing I did was flatten out the teeth on the spring and removed the brake pads inside the hub, it allows the bike to be pedaled and spins freely when going backwards. But i feel some friction and don't know why when it's spinning backwards or spinning forwards but feet are rested on the pedals I can feel some friction so that scares me. I haven't mounted the motor yet.@rogerstafford-wakeinc.2088
Daughter has a bike that when you pedal forward, rear crank gets stuck spinning forward. You have to kick the pedals backward which makes the crank make a clicking sound but will free up the pedals. It’s not the pedals themselves, but the whole assembly gets stuck spinning forward. I’m thinking something is getting hung up in the rear crank? Brand new bike from Amazon so trying to not have to send it back if possible.
I have tried a lot of remedies and to be honest sir nothing’s really worked. If you take the pads out it comes loose. If you’re having an issue with a new bike best advice return it even if it’s a hassle. The spring is probably forcing the brake some tho to assembled properly. Godspeed and thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts

the video camera should be horizontal and not shake.
