Baris Manco was speaking Japanese during the concert because just before this concert he went through a few weeks of intensive Japanese course, learnt Japanese just so that he can communicate with his audience. Japanese and Turkish are really very different. The fact that he speaks this much here shows how talented he is and how much he respects his listeners. In turn, the Japanese people filled the auditorium, came just for him even though they do not understand the lyrics, brought Turkish flags with them. This is the 90s and different cultures were not interacting as easily as today. Baris Manco actually contributed to good diplomatic relations between these two countries. Amazing guy, a legend.
japanese is not different at all, same language tree. you can learn talk easly, not writing but speaking is easy for turkish people. bizim gibi cümle kurdukları için çok kolay öğrenirsiniz, zor değil yani.
@@whitekiki You're right, I know that there are grammatical similarities. I meant the vocabularies are very different as far as I know. (Not much what they call "lexical similarity") Please correct me if I'm wrong. As a Turkish speaker I do not understand any Japanese words at all, not to the extent a French and Spanish would understand one another (lexical similarity between them is about 75 percent) Anyway, the point here is that I wouldn't imagine in any case that it would be easy for a Turkish person who doesn't know Japanese to speak Japanese at a concert. I very much appreciate Baris Manco's effort and thoughtfulness.
Japanese aint diffrent it's same grammar with Turkish, even the E and DE adds are exactly same.
Pronunciation also extremely easy for a Turkish guy.
As a Turkish speaker not understanding Japanese bind only *YOU* don't speak for everyone.
Also he often learn some degree of the language of the country he gonna perform it was special for Japanese case because Japanese request him "Either speak Japanese or Turkish please don't use English or any other 3rd party language"
@@Regalya What I meant is that the vocabulary is very different, not grammar or pronouciation as I explained above. Having not so many common words is a BIG difference in and out of itself. I am free to express MY perception, which I did and will. The fact that they asked him to speak either Japanese or Turkish doesn't change anything I said. It is still admirable that a non Japanese adult person sat down, got intensive language lessons to the point that he can remember what to say at a concert and be understandable in a matter of a few weeks. This is a hard thing to do. That's the gist of the argument. This is not easy, he certainly did not have to do that, yet he did.
His goal was to embody a typical "Turkish character"; a role-model. He wanted to convey this to the young in his country, and also show off this character of Turkishness to the world, too! He did a good job of it.
I cried because i missed him and those days.
Me too
Same here ;(
He was also a great role model for the Turkish people. He has many TV shows named "7 to 77" and "The child who will become a man" (Direct translations may be lost some meaning). I remember when I was a kid, I always watched Barış Manço's "The child who will become a man" program. This show was like a talk show and game show made just for kids. Barış Manço always gave advice to children in that program. Generally, those advices were like being a good and hardworking person, being a respectful, rule-abiding citizen. Now I understand that he actually gave these messages to the parents through children and affected a generation in a good way. For example, when I was little, I never used to whine about eating vegetables, because Barış Manço always asked "You eat spinach, do you like it, right?" to children who appeared as guests in the program.
When Barış Manço died, my whole family cried because we lost a cultural artist and a humanist.
We knew the intelligent, hardworking and sympathetic features of the Japanese people, but we got to know Japan and the Japanese with Barış Manço,
who makes cultural and travel programs on Sundays.
RIP, we love you Barış Manço.
Thank you for the video
Barış Manço... Sen bir EFSANESİN! :)
Thanks Mr. Robk :)
Saygı ve özlemle anıyoruz Barış Manço 🤲❣️
Baris was a real Rock Star. That’s why he can move the crowds. A beautiful hearth and soul. He had a TV show for children growing up which is called “Boys who would be Men” where he thought us to how to be a gentlemen, travel(where he traveled the world to thought us that we are all the same), learn and love other people. Our generation calls ourselves “Brother Baris’s Kids”.
Barıs Manco knew French, English and Japanese Language.
almanca ingilizce fransızca bulmaca çözebilecek kadar iyi biliyordu bunun haricinde 9 10 dili derdini anlatabilecek kadar biliyordu
3 dili neredeyse ana dili kadar iyi biliyordu.Bunlar İngilizce,Fransızca ve Almancaydı.Japoncayı sadece konserlerde halka hitap edebilecek derdini az bucuk anlatabilecek kadar biliyordu.
BARIŞ manço ile büyüdüm. Onu çok seviyorum.
😔🤲🇹🇷
Thanks to the promotion of Barış Manço, millions of Japanese tourists came to Turkey every year. The Japanese thought that all Turks were polite and cultured like Barış Manço. Fortunately, we, as Turks, proved to the Japanese over the years that this is not the case.
So true..
Kara sevda
Hu hu hu hu hu
Nasıl anlatsam bilemiyorum, gözlerim kararıyor
Tepe taklak oldu dünya tersine sanki (sanki, sanki)
Kara sevda
Hu hu hu hu hu
Kara sevda
Kara sevda

Öldüğü gün, tüm gün ağladım. Büyük bir sanatçı.
You never died in my heart, Peace Manco. We miss you so much since 1999 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
He was a superstar and a legend. Look at that audience with suit jackets and formal wear. But you hit them like crazy with your rock tune. And that is greatness... R. I. P Barış Manço. You will always be remembered.
Barış Manço was simply a legend for us. He is the artist of all times, never gets old for us. His music and the culture he taught us will never be forgotten. I remember the day he died and i had cried that day. Japanese people came from Japan just for his funeral to show respect to him. There were many many people all around the world. When we were in childhood Baris Manco was the anchor of the children 's competition which is named "Adam olacak Çocuk" (means the child who'll be a man in future). We love him and love him..
Thank you for your introducing this side of Türkiye to the different nations with your channel 🥰
As far as i remember it was the japanese president who hugged Barış. I may be wrong. Who cares! He was kicking it as usual. Such a great musician and idol for kids. He was so proud to be a part of Turkish culture unlike many today.
He was kind of a person that;everybody would love him instantly. Father figure for children, a beloved relative for elderly people. And such an intelligent and charismatic man he was. We all looked up to hım while groving up, i personally was only 3 or 4 years old when i started to listen to him thanks to my dad. Thank you for all off your videos about him,Sir. I literally cried (I'm 35 and i consired myself as a lucky person who had a childhood with his concerts, videos and cassette tapes) Love, peace and respect 💕🙋🏻♀️🕊
Thank you Robk. 👍Thanks.
Barış R.I.P😭. We Love you.

Loved it, haven't seen this before. Barış Manço was unique and an outstanding artist and man, greatly missed. We'll not see the like of him again,..
BARIS IS A LEGEND OF ALL TIME🌄 ALLAH RAHMET EYLESIN MEKANI CENNET OLSUN❤
He's spoken fluintly in 6 languages and knowing to express himself in other 10 languages. He's had to take a one month japanese class before the concert. Japan people demanded him to talk in his native language or in japanese. Not another language (like english) to be in between.
He was really big artist and also he was an intellectual. RIP Barış MANÇO...

Kara sevda yı black love şeklinde çevirmek sizce uygun bir çevirimidir.
Blind love yahut bad romance terimleri daha uygun, black love biraz motomot ve anlamı vermeyen bir ifade.
