Whether it's surround or not it HAS decreased the dynamic range of the original song
I'm a professional mix engineer, I get that these videos are supposed to be a different experience to the original song and each to their own of course, but I also feel like in the process of creating the "full surround" atmosphere causes the loss of a lot of what makes this song special to begin with!
The person who posted this simply did some panning and volume manipulation and is now profiting off the original genius work of INZO, so idk the whole thing feels a little off to me. I just hope the people listening to this version also stream and share INZO's actual work so that it doesn't go unrecognised!

Its sad but It helped to read this just now. I'm having a tough time and its been really hard to stay strong. I'm so tired. I'm so burnt out of trying to navigate my work and life. I feel like I just want to sleep forever.
I'll stay strong for awhile longer though. I don't want to leave without doing at least a little more to help the problems. Hope everyone keeps going too. I honestly don't know if it will ever get better, but I guess it's worth the pain to find out.
