Oh so lovely and what memories .I bought 3 Kimono and sandal etc when there .They were so lovely .Later in Australia I decided I'd post such items back to Berlin as had to go on to South America. The registered parcel was stolen .OK I got the money but that and so much more from my happy times in Kyoto were gone for ever ---- Thanks for this .I loved it there so much .....Beautifully made and all looking wonderful Big like * Helena

It was such a lovely shop and I had a wonderful time .Japan has much to offer .It took a thief in the Melbourne Australian Post serve to take it .They know it never left the office as a registered parcel .Just stolen goods taken home .Such is low life form .....Anyhow I could never look as lovely as you :)
This is a deeply moving video. You can see the pleasure the women are feeling wearing these exquisite Kimonos and enjoying the beauty of the tradition; they seem to just radiate a inner glow. I have to say, I'm an old crusty ex-military type of guy and never get mushy or "sensitive" about stuff. However, at 3:18 into the video; you can see how the three girls have the same inner happy from being a pretty girl wearing a kimono - well I am NOT saying I had tears in my eyes because of all the joy, glow, happy, beauty and tradition; perhaps MAYBE my eyes glistened up just a LITTLE. Then at 3:20, it is as if, years from now, the three girls grew up and are still sisters or friends walking together again in their kimonos. Right to the heart. Okay...maybe I do need a tissue; I might have something in my eye.
