Hi Kevin. Yes, we used to put the playing cards on our bicycles and balloons too! LOL. The balloons did not last very long but it sounded like you had a Harley! Oh! The good old days.🙂 What a great memory, thanks for sharing that!
We lived on East ave for 3 years and must have went to National Market 3 times a week. Even years later we went back to get certain items from their meat market. It was very sad to see it go. Another quick story...our close friend worked at the Lander Ave 7 11 for many years. One night a guy came in and did a "beer run" stealing a case of beer. As he ran out the store my foolish friend jumped the counter and ran in persuit. She was met at the corner of the store with the thief and the cast he had on his arm. Needless to say she took a hard hit that knocked her on her butt and he got away. Could have been ALOT worse. Have a great week and be careful on those wet roads.
Hey Kev!! I also love riding in the dark and early or late when streets are super quiet!! We just had a crazy ice storm up here and it's now starting to warm up and thaw!! I gotta get over there to start my scoot and ride around in the neighborhood. After this ice experience I am swearing ro be prepared to leave here for 2 months next winter!!!! I need a scooter trailer and a car top roof rack!!! I just want to ride every day in warmth and sunshine....I keep hope that we will get some warm days and I will ride ride riiiiiiiide!!! I like how lights look on the street in the video!! 😊 nice ride!!
It would be nice to have you and kachiskid both come down this spring to do some riding with me around here, kachiskid has planned to come down this spring , (spoiler Alert) 🚨 yeah that would be great to have a meet up and finally get to meet in person and go off riding to a beautiful river with a green park the ride there is so beautiful county land zig zag roads with slight hills nothing but orchards and grape fields with beautiful county homes lots of hawks ,squirrels, to see been wanting to take this journey but rather not go alone safer if your riding with someone else case something goes wrong
I got a new carb that was good except the throttle set screw wasnt threaded right and I had to pull it out and rethread the hole for a different screw... hmm, I glad I have a couple spares

Yeah I agree the scooter original headlamps are definitely dim on all these scooters , I purchased 4 inch light bars with the wiring harness and on/off switch that hooks up to your battery with a fuse . I plan on installing them when it stops raining over here the forecast is saying we will have lots of down poor for the next week ,so I'll install the new lights along with the handlebar-end mirrors next week when the weather is better ,thanks for watching my videos I'm glad your enjoying them ...😁👍
@@GY6-SCOOTERS nice, that'll be cool. Even just upgrading frrom the stock led bulb to a different one might be a lot brighter than that one. I know thats how it was on my gy6. I changed all the bulbs out for LED too which I swear gave the bike a peformance boost somehow. Like before it was missing sparks or something sometimel, idk. It just runs better on my bike with all the incandecent bulbs out of there. You need the 50watt resistors for the blinker light circuit or it blinks weird. easy to add in there though.
Thanks for the heads up on needing the 50 watt resistors for the blinker lights 🙂👍 yeah on my 50cc I did install led lights on her I could tell it was better then stock but still heard in my comments of my videos that it doesn't look any different from my stock lights I had on originally...🤔 I noticed from all the videos I've created that while I ride in dark roads I can see the scooter light hitting the road but in the video as viewers it's as if I'm riding with no light on ...I find this awkward 🤔 I use a gopro hero 8 black to record all my videos and I know I have to mess with the pro tune settings if I'm gonna create a vlog in the dark to bring out more light in dark scenes but in all in all after all my researching and trail testing with different led headlight bulb testing with my 50cc in the past to really upgrade a scooters headlamp none of the regular led bulbs will give you the brightness as a light bar would give yeah led lights out do stock halogen bulbs but hid kits out do led lights and light bars out do all the ones mentioned 👍 but it does come with each scooter owners liking and sacrificing if one is looking to keep their scooter stock led bulb upgrade is the way to go , if a scooter owner doesn't mind doing a little manufacturing like drilling and installing a hole to install your on & off switch for your led light bar and creating a mount that looks decent not tapped on ...lol then yeah go with led light bar lighting ..🙂👍 I myself decided to go with 4" light bar lights one for each side left/right because I ride every morning in the dark like 45 minutes before sun rise & so many of times cars will pull out of a parking lot thinking I'm a bicycle not realizing I'm a scooter traveling over 35 mph in city limits who has headlight lamp as a bike rider may have ....lol hopefully I'll upgrade to these 4 inch light bars giving more light to see better and to be seen better safety is the #1 key at hand it allows us to live another day and continue riding and living right bro....🙂👍🙏🏼💯 Question have you joined the Facebook GY6 SCOOTER support group page ?
