  • GOLD, COINS AND TREASURE. (Part 1 - Truth is stranger than fiction) is a premium two part true story video focused on treasure hunting, and finding Gold and Jewelry on the Beach, and in the fields. My Goldfinder XTR Metal Detector has been very popular in the past, so I decided to create a series! As with Gold on the Beach 10 and Gold on the Beach 6 Platinum, we continue to provide helpful how-to videos and movies, with helpful hints and tips we have learned from our many Treasure Hunting Adventures. See our 10 live gold finds on camera and learn how and where to find Gold nuggets with our video, - how natural Gold occurs. Gold on the beach is always exciting.

    I would love to visit you guys and spend a couple days/WEEKS! detecting out where the nuggets are! Great video and nice of you guys to return those rings! I know there's a LOT of people out there that would say, "finders keepers!" Sad. I prefer the feeling of making someone happy ANY DAY over a little money! God bless you brothers!

    i really wish that i could read beaches like you guys,i too made my own pi metal detector but the targets are so deep that i cannot dig them and i tend to only dig shallow targets and find much junk..i find your videos very motivating to try and find gold items.

    • @DarrenBarnesMD
      @DarrenBarnesMD 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      50 bad targets too one good target is a general starting rule. Find the coins and their little pocket they may sit in washed up from the wet sand, and your very close to the low spot that may have a ring or somthing even better that could blow your mind. The first great target is always the hardest, dont give up mate!

      i notice on the beach there are things called gullies and sometimes large puddles of water....do rings collect in these puddles of water or to one side of them...when you say washed up from wet sand...do you mean where the wet sand joins the dry ???? i have never found many rings but mainly junk rings.my best ring was a 22ct 16 gram with emerald centre which was my only gold ring that i have ever found....i love pulse machines but very hard work digging deep holes and much junk...i tend to dig loud targets instead of whispers which i know is not not good.

    • @DarrenBarnesMD

      Do you have any suggestions on metal detectors for a guy that lives next to the ocean? I have a very long low to high tide variance. I was hoping for something that could get wet. Anyone as honest as you surely has a retirement nugget just around the next bend. :-)

    • @GoldfindersAu
      @GoldfindersAu  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Trace 23 All depends on how much you want to spend.Pulse induction detectors are generaly more expensive but work well in salt and goldfields areas.The most important factor is where you go.Any detector can find gold and coins in normal ground. The garrett infinium can get wet but it is also expensive.Minelab excaliber is good,- Whites detectors have all good detectors. see Goldsearch in dunolly Australia or look for good second hand in e bay ?

    The small silver ring with two overlapping hearts and small stone on the left? Hand side is a type of signet ring. In my family it's tradition for the women in the family to revive one once we hit 13. A bit if useless information but still cool.

    fabulous video explaining the movement of metals on the beach and confirms what I have found just having started beach detecting.... I found a huge pocket of coins.... I am confused with your two maps at 9:00 in the video.... will the gold be higher than heavy coins or lower, closer to the low tide water line? Thank you so much!

    • @GoldfindersAu
      @GoldfindersAu  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Starting Towards the water on low tide, from the dry sand.. pull tabs and bottle tops..then coins,- then gold rings and lead sinkers towards the center .Gold always rests towards the lowest spot.

    • @dylanfoster8695

      Thank you! I have found a place with possibly thousands of coins in a 2x4 meter hole, but I am waiting for my gps so I can mark the spot before I dig all the easy coins and can't hear it anymore..... I am excited! and your excellent video confirmed my own theory.... Cheers!

      How did they get there?

    • @dylanfoster8695
      @dylanfoster8695 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I live in a place which I believe has never been metal detected.... very unique.... I just started, and four days into it I hit a calm corner on the beach, exactly as you described, and got targets every 10 or 20 cm in an area about 2x4 meters.... started digging, got about 100 coins and a silver earring out of one hole until I was tired and it was dark.... I then decided to order a pinpointer and a gps and wait to dig this hole out with a friend..... I am very excited to see what I get out of there...... I'll let you know what I find when I resume digging!

    • @GoldfindersAu
      @GoldfindersAu  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes after a storm the gold items will appear for a short time sometimes you have to remove the crap first. one spot we dug 1000 pieces of crap to find a part of a broken ring. the next visits nothing and then come a historical pat diamond ring and every visit after produced rings.. gold gathers in certain spots...

    • @GoldfindersAu
      @GoldfindersAu  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Justin mac I use the Whites TDI oz series because it is easy to use, extremly powerful, works well in all ground conditions including goldfield areas and has a useful discrimination circuit. Only draw back is the cost, cant get it wet and it likes fishing hooks.See Goldsearch in Victoria and mention Goldfinders.if you are realy keen about finding just gold nuggets then the new GPZ from or GP Minelab is best.

      Loic Hamonou learn the history of the area and go to the most popular swimming spot back then, you will no doubt have to collect hundreds of rubbish targets and coins but on the right tide will come many gold items.look for a spot where the heavier items are settling, thick soil under sand.- rock or a disturbance in the flow of water
