Reminds me of early turbo iron valiant when the set dropped. Looks nice on paper and when you get your meaningful T2 snipes, but is way to inconsistent to carry you through multiple rounds
I think it's a lure, kinda akin to a noobtrap. It has a very alluring thing going for it, where if you blow up 3 dusclops and sableye turn 2, you can boardwipe someone completely before they're ready to setup... In certain scenarios.
@@Alex-gw6ie it's not about the number of prize cards. Turn two you can technically win if your opponent has no other pokemon in play. Besides that, it's stage one. You're not using Dusknoir.
I low key think that clops could be the card that breaks future box, having even more ways to get damage on to things for iron hands is a necessity! I don't really think that it would be running 4-4 maybe just 2-2 or 3-3. We will have to see!
I could see this being a decent deck for ladder climbing on ptcgl since you get more points for winning than you lose by loosing. As long as it has an okay win rate (say 40+%), the speed at which games end would make climbing quick
I'm definitely going to be looking into this deck. I was excited to see that we're getting full art ghost mons. And now there's something I can use it with? Yes!!
I don't know how good this deck is really. Especially against big hp decks but I'm in love and hope it's legit. Cause I'm a combo playing in every tcg combo decks are available. This right here is a combo deck and that's something that's rare in Pokemon
I wonder if traditional lost box could even survive this next set. Kyurem is such a threat when you want to get that turn two Colress. Maybe it could do well by playing a couple pal pad to deny your opponent use of the colress? Though admittedly you still risk them being discarded by your pokestops
Pairing it with Charizard is the more effective version it looks like. Being able to power up your own Charizard with a self knock out fixes math that used to mess with the archetype. Now it can ko all ex basics on turn 2. I think it's weird that they printed a card like that though; wasn't there a Mismagious that had to be banned because it could also self knockout and enable plays like counter catcher or a more disruptive N? We have all these comeback mechanic cards now that can be used proactively instead of the intended reactive way; Iono has been around for a while now - it's weird that they're enabling these strategies again after people complained about them years ago.
What if you cut the comfey and add back colress? You could save a lot of space if you didn't need the switching cards too, and that would slot for pokegears. You wouldn't turn 2 lost mine as frequently, but I think colress is more bang for your buck and helps simplify the strategy. Instead of relying on an engine to do the work, you just play the draw. It might take up supporter for the turn, but I think it'll be worth it.
It says "if you placed" So do you force sudden death with it if youre both on the last pricecard, or do you draw your pricecard before he knocks himself out?
Depends on the win condition u both have, we must check it if you have a bench pokemon, deck cards left, etc. If it's on BO1 swiss round format like in the TPC region then both got double lose.
check out my VOD channel, @trickygymVODs - I do a lot of tabletop these days but I still stream TCG Live near-daily. All of my streams are posted there.
This reminds me of another troll deck: Kyogre Volcarona V deck. Its very fun against deck with alot of benches, but not so fun against single basic ex/v deck. U win some n u lose some haha
I think the deck could be way stronger than that, and that the deck build is just not solved yet. We have a new supporter that finds lost city AND the psychic energy for sableye and it's not played there. Arven could find the very much wanted Hyper Aroma Playing any LZ deck without Colress' Experiment is wild too. So many super rods for such a few amount of energies and Pokémon, that will go to the Lost Zone anyway. Of course everything here can't be solved at once without reworking the entire deck but you get my point ; this specific list has just too many flaws in my opinion, so there MUST be a better, more consistent way to play it, we just have to find it.
I think it's definitely going to be in a winning deck at worlds but not this build. Zard is a good use for it since you get extra damage for the prizes you give up leading to faster kos your opponent can't recover from where before sometimes it missed the damage. Someone will find the list for it for sure I just don't think this is it as it's an early draft of the deck.
It’s hard to say. Japanese lists are always inconsistent, over hyped, and rely on key pieces. That is all to say that I really do think that LB plus dusk can be really powerful. But I would remove the aroma for something more consistent instead of a one of card and try to get a dusk noir in there. The dusk noir would really help for the big Basic matchup. Cyclops is only really good for those stage two decks to dunk them before they get big.
@@DisplayName317Rabsca stops tm Devo because it's an attack. It doesn't stop Clops or Fross because they are abilities. Enamorous V is the only counter I know, but requires p energy attachment as well.
I feel like this list is too...restrictive in how it's set up. I think if some changes were made, it could work really well. Stuff like Arvens, item finders, maybe that Alakazam that moves counters around. Idk what exactly would work best, but there's bound to be a way to get this concept to work consistently and do really well. That list is just not it.
I swear every time I click on your video I managed to miss the video and hit that "paid promotion" notice on the thumbnail. Anyone know if I can disable that? I don't need to be told that a TH-camr has a sponsor. It's not rocket science.
Yeah so people that said it could be the secret deck to win Worlds don't know how to play pro level. The deck looks aweful and like he said inconsistent, if you don't pull the combo on turn 2 ggs, therefore, the decks MUST draw the key combo on turn 2 in every game to win which is impossible. GGs Charizard still the best deck vs all odds.
Jesus Christ I just deleted at least 1000 words. I’m gonna summarize this for you OK so there is a lot of stuff you can pair up with this. Of course it would take deck building taking it apart and reconstruct it again and again until you find the perfect formula now there is a handful stuff you can put into the deck and try mashing together, you can try the strategy of slowbro with the attack that says you can draw two prize cards if your opponent is down to one price card when you use this attack, of course there is unknown v that says if you’re down to one price card and use this attack in the game, which is not really if you’re in a really good spot there’s also bravery to hit your side of the field for 30 There is Serena to knock something down to 30 and use the ghost to put five damage counters on whatever’s left. That’s always an idea. Also, there’s one of the best ideas so far. Being Crobat the one that does 30 damage to one of your opponents Pokémon and if it’s knocked out, you get two more price cards you can just put damage counters with a ghost whether it’s the stage warner stage two and then purposely let it have a little bit of HP left over so that you could hit it with the bat also there are Pokémon that do an attack that knocks them down to just 10 HP, which is ideal for either the ghosts to do their thing or the crowbat to get even more prizes
Sorry bro me again. I do like the last box idea just not all the cards in the lost box like the little purple troll which apparently spellcheck doesn’t know how to spell its name correctly so I just put it by little purple troll put 12 damage counters among your opponents Pokémon that’s pretty cool because it let you spread out the damage unlike the ghosts that says you have to put 5 damage counters on one guy or the big guy that let you put 13 on one guy it all comes down to strategy at the end of the day how you wanna do it but the fact that you get to spread out 12 damage counters is pretty awesome. Not to mention. It’s really easy to get stuff into the lost box to get to attack with the bird if 4 cards are in the lost zone. Which would mean as long as you have the consistency of getting stuff in the lost zone, which isn’t too hard with all the stuff out nowadays, you should be able to return with your bird for 110 at least. Just for the record I don’t remember the name of this bug. I want to say it’s a grass or a psychic type. It’s a stage one, but it’s attack is very cheap and it lets you bring back any Pokémon from your discard pile and put it on your bench so if you really wanted to, you could bring back your stage one ghosts or stage two ghosts all you have to do is discard them whether it’s an ultra ball or a supporter to discard stuff. Just get those ghost in your discard pile and bring them back with that on the bench if you wanted to skip the whole evolution into stage one or rare candy into a stage two it is a little bit of a slower function, but it’s still possible to get them on the bench just to knock them back out to put 5 damage or 13 damage there’s also keep in mind the Alakazam that confuses your opponents, active Pokémon, and it lets you rearrange all the damage on the field however, you want it to be there’s always that to test in the deck
Not so secret anymore 😆
I'm dead lol
Andrew's just cooking a deck that hard counters 😅
I’ve known about this for a hot minute already lol
7:56 "Yeah, you don't get to play with those anymore." That's savage lol.
In the GLC department, it's gonna be handy to use dusclops + mismagius to KO themselves into the lost zone. I'll be cooking that list

setting 3 stage 2 sounds a waste for 2 prize cards
@@Alex-gw6ie it's not about the number of prize cards. Turn two you can technically win if your opponent has no other pokemon in play. Besides that, it's stage one. You're not using Dusknoir.
Nice format Andrew, love to see just the rundown! As a businessman I have little time to waste

I think this deck is definitely the definition of a FUN deck. You win some you lose some.
Hear me out..... Giratina Vstar plus dusclops, +50 means lost impact can ko stuff like zard ex and dragapult.
I think a 1- 1 line of the zoroark that comes out in the set could be helpful to take big knockouts on big basic decks.
Enamorus V, come on down!
The deck needs Arezu to get all your Dusklops on turn 2 or moving forward
Hyper Aroma and Arezu together would make it more consistent
Seen this deck pretty often. Looks fun to play but wouldnt say its a contender for worlds
It'll be an engine in Charizard

If you play 2 Arezu? And then 2 dusknoir?
Looks like fun but without a few tweaks it won't be completely broken.
Yea tricky this deck is gonna be a huge problem omg I'm lovn it
Good preview video, but we're missing some of your friends turns for a full perspective about how it matches up.

I think they're trying to avoid getting kyurem'd. plus it frees up space for a set of carmines and duskclops etc.

get the dusknoir involved for more lost zone acceleration
Either use Arven to find ACE card, or Arezu to get Dusklops. yeah, TM evolution also possible, huh. Thanks Andrew, I will not use this deck yet, 😂
