Approach the consumer court, you will get compensation also. First send a email to the airline customer support, if they don't respond or not satisfied with the response, then forward the mail to nodal officer of the airline, not satisfied with the nodal officer's response then submit your compliant with Air Sewa, If no proper response from all of them then approach the consumer with all the compliant mail copies, you can get a government lawyer for consumer court and claim for mental agony also.

As annoying as flight delays / cancellations can be, I feel so bad for the agents who were being screamed at. It is not their fault and they are already underpaid and under lots of pressure. Passengers, no matter how much of a delay, are bound to feel upset but it is unacceptable that they show this to the staff who have no control over the situation.
The same thing happened with one of my friends today. He was traveling from Kolkata to Hyderabad. The flight was at 7 PM, but after reaching there, he found out that the flight was delayed. Delayed in the sense, the 7 PM flight was rescheduled to 9:40 PM. After talking to them, as compensation, they just gave a small 7-rupee water bottle, a 10-rupee juice, a sandwich and a 5-rupee cake. Basically, something that doesn't mean anything. These people should shut down their company because they are useless. Every time, whenever I have booked a flight with Air India Express, it’s the same issue, everyone faces the same problem. So, I would say as a passenger, it's better for everyone to avoid Air India Express.
Indian aviation sector, particularly domestic is worst in terms of customer service. They just cancel flights based on their wish and don't even provide a proper refund.
Lol. I was also there, and I recorded the incident, too. It was happening on 18th Nov. Around 4 pm when the flight was srinagar was canceled. I came from BLR and was collecting my baggage at belt 7 and the chaos was there itself.
I had a very opposite experience with Air India Express in the last month October. I was traveling to Guwahati from Delhi.. My departure was on time and my arrival was before time . And the hospitality inside the aircraft was way too good. My experience was awesome

Canada govt recently made laws that Canadian airlines have to pay compensation to passengers if flight is delayed or cancelled unless it's due to bad weather. Now airlines are making sure mot to delay or cancel as they will lose money if they do so. Air India has history of delays, cancellation and not giving good service like other airlines. I had bad experience with Air India. I travelled to Delhi from Canada on Air Canada on time. But my connecting Air India flight from Delhi to Chandigarh was cancelled. Air India did not arrange alternative flight and I was having tough time to get refund. Air Canada had alliance with Air India. Air Canada refunded me and also compensated me and apologised for bad service by Air India. I travelled by road to Chandigarh.
Are you kidding me😂. This has to be a sarcastic joke. I booked a train from Delhi to Mumbai and the train arrived at Delhi at 2 am when it was supposed to arrive at 9:30pm. I reached Mumbai 9 hours late!! The seat allotment, ticketing process is all a big scam! The train is dirty, stinky and disgusting. The food and catering is out of the world🤮🤢. They give stale food. Their pantry have rats and cockroaches. My berth itself had cockroaches. I had booked 2AC! had paid 5000 rupees for a confirmed ticket. Iss se 100 times better hai air travel! Booking that train was the biggest mistake and worst nightmare!
Also during monsoons & winters, people travelling by flight should always be prepared for unforeseen circumstances like diversions, delays and cancellations. That is something which is not under anyone’s control.

Something similar happened with me and my family we were going to Nigerian to visit our dad and the flight was with Etihad so what happened was the cancelled our flight from Delhi to Abu Dhabi because the all flights to Nigerian were cancelled due to the sand storm but etihad being very professional gave all the Nigerian bound passengers a stay in the hotel and then the next flight was on them without us paying for it again
Even similar situation had happened on 28th Nov 2023 DEL- BBI flight, initially they announced about technical issue but when even after 1.5 hours the boarding hadn't started, people started pressuring and we got to know 2 flights has been diverted to this flights, hence the delay.
It is not there fault then whose fault, why the airlines flight cancelled, what's is the reason for that, why the pilot got heart attack that time only, or the pilot was injured while walking, or the flight got burnt or the flight got burnt that time only, or the announcement girl or a boy got heart attack that time only, or the company owner died that time only, or the flight tires got damage, or the pilot wife got heart attack that why pilot not available, or company owner wife got heart attack or died that time only, or the weather got heart attack that time only, or the gate inspector got heart attack, or two flight got blast while in the sky or the sky got heart attack, we as a customer what our money thats it, or there should be new law in this country from now, before manufacturing or making or building something there should be a warranty or guarantee, simply for money don't open a company and at last putting a public in trouble, why we as a customer should fall in trouble, it is ur company fault, we don't know whatever will happened it ur fault, of the company, if owner is dead also I'm not borthered, or pilot got heart attack, the company should thik first this small small things first then open a company simply for profit opening business and keeping to earn trillion of euros, there should be a new rule from now if money is not refund, at that moment only we should killed owner also and the person who is not refunding money of a hard earned customer, money is not coming from up above the sky, ok they should thik first this all factors before opening a company,

These kind of scenes can be witnessed all over India. Incompetence, arrogance and the absence of a sense of responsibility is manifest in both public and private Indian life. Not even the Tatas can rectify things because these are ingrained in the Indian ethos. The owners may be new, but the employees and staff are still the same old arrogant and lazy dinosaurs. The Tatas' best efforts will be sabotaged and made fruitless.

Cancellation of flights not unusual. That happens around the world. Only in India people become aggressive and start big commotion. I am not trying to defend airplanes here but come on, be realistic. They cancelled the flight for a reason.
I know people are in discomfort and are massively disappointed but they shouldn't block other flights. Why to create problems for others when they are simply got to do nothing with these issues.
It happened same with me Harry bhai. On June 30th I had a ticket from Goa to Hyd but they cancelled and said there are no other flights for the day. We asked for next day flight which is same and scheduled at same time, they said even that is cancelled but its available as per the schedule next day. Airlines lied to us. Shame on them literally and the next day prices were around 18K to HYD from Goa. I have decided never ever i will fly with AIX again.

Bhai it has happend with me as well with GOFIRST LEH-DELHI-MUMBAI sector after issuing boarding paas LEH - DELHI flight was cancelled reason given was weather while INDIGO and VISTARA were operating as a result missed my further DEL-BOM flight We were made to board the flight scheduled for Jammu after creating same scene as shown in the video then Jammu to Delhi same flight was continued reached delhi with a delay of 9 hrs , again had to create a scene at DELHI then after awating 4+ hrs we were made to board a mid night flight to BOM Total LEH to BOM which was scheduled 5hrs flight with changeover at Delhi was converted to a 24 hrs + flight LEH-JAMMU-DELHI-BOM that was the worst experience of my entire experience with aviation industry.
I feel really bad for the passengers and somewhat for the staff as well... But the guys that was crying, literally broke my heart. Like can't those airlines think that some of those people might have bought the ticket with such difficult cuz they might have some emergency.. Even if it isn't an emergency, they still have to respect everyone's money and time....
I’m from the travel industry and I generally do not comment on videos. But from my experience and what I have seen in the video, the passengers were extremely rude in talking with the gate agent. The gate agent didn’t cancelled the flight for fun. There may have been some technical reasons due to which they canceled it. Also to accommodate all the passenger on another airlines aircraft is not a joke. It needs authorisation from managers. Also the Refund takes time since the airline process the refund either on weekly or fortnightly basis. The last point was to stop the pilots from boarding the Goa flight, it was utterly disgusting. Why other passengers should suffer? Just a thought

I am actually embarrased to be indian sometimes by the behavior of the public regarding flight cancellations, the agents are not responsible for flight cancellations at all they do not deserve any abuse at all even if agents aren't helpful as sometimes they can only pass on messages that they are told and usually don't know the reasons sometimes, and in regards with refunds, they can't just process refunds instantly as there is procedures to follow, bank accounts to transfer money back to, travel agents etc,

This kind of passenger madness is common in airlines, travel, everywhere. I myself have taken the heat of angry passengers while in travel industry. At least more than 50 angry guests shouted at me just for a silly reason for more than an hour.
In my travel experience from past many years, I consistently found Airindia products not up to the mark. Many a times there was delay, machinary issue when everyone was totally boarded, rude behaviour and many more but for god sake never face cancellation of flight. So after those experience I prefer not to book any air india flight even if it was cheaper. I mostly prefer Indigo over Air India as not a single time I am having a problem even though many will not like indigo (for obvious reason). Other than indigo I really like vistara but since it is merging I think it will lose it potential. So In my case I choose Indigo for domestic routes and Other airlines (mostly middle-eastern airlines/ singapore airlines) for my international routes trips.
Hey Harry.. Frankly this issue is nothing compared to what many face sat first week of Jan for international travels. These is some license which gets renewed in Jan 1 and many staff don't do on time. I was travelled to Birmingham UK on 3rd Jan in Air India B787 and there were passengers who had flight on 1 Jan waiting at the gate for three days with no arrangement of hotels. Not sure why but on 3rd Jan my flight was delayed for just 3-4 hours only. Really felt bad for those still waiting since 2 days at gates and boarding gates were blocked by these angry passengers. This I'm talking about international flight. Google it and you may find few video from few pissed-off passengers.
We know the value of his furious when we are in the situation. Now me and my family in 7members booked a indigo flight at 27th 2.25pm to Bengaluru. They told due to repel cyclone they cancelled the flight. They advised avail plan b that is reschedule or refund. When i book flight ticket 7.5k..now the ticket price is 30k per passenger. There is no option for travel from portblair except airline. So i can't afford refund. Because now flight ticket is very high. They asked for reschedule on may 31st. I didn't accept..but they pushed to take that option. They told all seats filled between may 28-30. I asked accommodation. They refused..they just told take refund or travel on may 31st. Just think that situation with aged people, kids. Then we realised new flight arranged on may 27th at 2.40pm from portblair to Bengaluru..our actual flight was 2.35pm. We reached indigo airline and they told climate is good now so we are running new flight, this flights are filled so you can't avail this flight. The indigo airlines calmly says "sorry for the inconveniences and we understand your situation." This is the only way they know. Fuck indigo airline. With aged people, kids i want to stay here without any financial support because of their fault. They kicked us like a football. I don't know where to complaint and who can help us. Even though they cheat us, we can't do anything. Just let me know if you guys know any solution.
After seeing experience of Air India Express, SpiceJet, Indigo; it can be seen that cheap flights have no guarantee of flight time or status. And only these airlines have direct flight to Srinagar from Mumbai..
We were going from kol to port blair few years ago, by Air India. Due to bad weather, the plane was brought back to kolkata and the screaming passengers ,oh my god. But Air India provided 5 star hotel to all its passengers and free transportation. I found AI better than Indigo which delayed flights with no help. Whereas AI provided coupons worth thali in airport for its delays.
Air India express sucks bro , today only It got delayed for 5 hrs for Jaipur to Hyderabad. Passengers were shouting like this only and a guy standing here was standing at Jaipur as well sho was doing nothing. IX 1229 flight Feb 6 2024 JAI TO HYD.
once my air India international flight got delayed for more than 24 hours.... luckily, we were given 5-star hotel accommodation...but since then I never went on any international flight through air India
1. Airlines should be honest upfront at the very first instance on the reason for the delay/cancellation and real delay time. Not in instalments. 2. People need to understand that delay / cancellation is due to certain compulsion and that an airline only makes a loss on cancellation of flight.
Let me tell you that cancellatios usually happen at very last minute, when all passenger have been checked in, and when these things happens it takes some time for the airline to give a solution to passenger. Issues happen in aviation everytime and airlines don´t like cancelling flights, for sure, that´s always their very last resource
so explain why in the US where cancelations are more common due to the weather are 99% of the time handled well by the airline? The airline will always reimburse flights and hotels if necessary. This an air India only issue
You should have a back-up flight for exactly these type of situations, if the flight is cancelled for any particular reason they should have a BACKUP. And if they can't provide a backup, refund the money then and there itself. It's like making the passengers absolutely helpless.
Backup flight? Do you realize that these are not auto's but airplanes which are very expensive. Will we be willing to pay 2x fare? Also, mostly it's weather which causes issue and not some airline fault.
@@mdzaid5925 Also remember people are not paying the fare for an auto ride too. If they can afford a bunch of planes, they can surely afford 2-3 more just in case they need it at some moment. The weather is not gonna be gloomy throughout the day for them to reschedule it to the next day and other airlines too might have made the same decision. It's nothing new with Air India Express/Air Asia India, they don't care about passengers and there was numerous occasions too where they were found to be guilty.

The same thing happened with one of my friends today. He was traveling from Kolkata to Hyderabad. The flight was at 7 PM, but after reaching there, he found out that the flight was delayed. Delayed in the sense, the 7 PM flight was rescheduled to 9:40 PM. After talking to them, as compensation, they just gave a small 7-rupee water bottle, a 10-rupee juice, a sandwich and a 5-rupee cake. Basically, something that doesn't mean anything. These people should shut down their company because they are useless. Every time, whenever I have booked a flight with Air India Express, it’s the same issue, everyone faces the same problem. So, I would say as a passenger, it's better for everyone to avoid Air India Express.

Lol. I was also there, and I recorded the incident, too. It was happening on 18th Nov. Around 4 pm when the flight was srinagar was canceled. I came from BLR and was collecting my baggage at belt 7 and the chaos was there itself.
I had a very opposite experience with Air India Express in the last month October. I was traveling to Guwahati from Delhi.. My departure was on time and my arrival was before time . And the hospitality inside the aircraft was way too good. My experience was awesome

Canada govt recently made laws that Canadian airlines have to pay compensation to passengers if flight is delayed or cancelled unless it's due to bad weather. Now airlines are making sure mot to delay or cancel as they will lose money if they do so. Air India has history of delays, cancellation and not giving good service like other airlines. I had bad experience with Air India. I travelled to Delhi from Canada on Air Canada on time. But my connecting Air India flight from Delhi to Chandigarh was cancelled. Air India did not arrange alternative flight and I was having tough time to get refund. Air Canada had alliance with Air India. Air Canada refunded me and also compensated me and apologised for bad service by Air India. I travelled by road to Chandigarh.

Something similar happened with me and my family we were going to Nigerian to visit our dad and the flight was with Etihad so what happened was the cancelled our flight from Delhi to Abu Dhabi because the all flights to Nigerian were cancelled due to the sand storm but etihad being very professional gave all the Nigerian bound passengers a stay in the hotel and then the next flight was on them without us paying for it again

Even similar situation had happened on 28th Nov 2023 DEL- BBI flight, initially they announced about technical issue but when even after 1.5 hours the boarding hadn't started, people started pressuring and we got to know 2 flights has been diverted to this flights, hence the delay.

Why was it cancelled? Any reason they mentioned whether it is due to lack of pilots, aircraft or any other safety reason? I'm assuming it's not the weather.
Cancellation of flights not unusual. That happens around the world. Only in India people become aggressive and start big commotion. I am not trying to defend airplanes here but come on, be realistic. They cancelled the flight for a reason.
I know people are in discomfort and are massively disappointed but they shouldn't block other flights. Why to create problems for others when they are simply got to do nothing with these issues.
It happened same with me Harry bhai. On June 30th I had a ticket from Goa to Hyd but they cancelled and said there are no other flights for the day. We asked for next day flight which is same and scheduled at same time, they said even that is cancelled but its available as per the schedule next day. Airlines lied to us. Shame on them literally and the next day prices were around 18K to HYD from Goa. I have decided never ever i will fly with AIX again.
Definetely aviation job is very stressful and still they are figuring out a solution to avoid such situations.

Bhai it has happend with me as well with GOFIRST LEH-DELHI-MUMBAI sector after issuing boarding paas LEH - DELHI flight was cancelled reason given was weather while INDIGO and VISTARA were operating as a result missed my further DEL-BOM flight We were made to board the flight scheduled for Jammu after creating same scene as shown in the video then Jammu to Delhi same flight was continued reached delhi with a delay of 9 hrs , again had to create a scene at DELHI then after awating 4+ hrs we were made to board a mid night flight to BOM Total LEH to BOM which was scheduled 5hrs flight with changeover at Delhi was converted to a 24 hrs + flight LEH-JAMMU-DELHI-BOM that was the worst experience of my entire experience with aviation industry.
I feel really bad for the passengers and somewhat for the staff as well... But the guys that was crying, literally broke my heart. Like can't those airlines think that some of those people might have bought the ticket with such difficult cuz they might have some emergency.. Even if it isn't an emergency, they still have to respect everyone's money and time....
I’m from the travel industry and I generally do not comment on videos. But from my experience and what I have seen in the video, the passengers were extremely rude in talking with the gate agent. The gate agent didn’t cancelled the flight for fun. There may have been some technical reasons due to which they canceled it. Also to accommodate all the passenger on another airlines aircraft is not a joke. It needs authorisation from managers. Also the Refund takes time since the airline process the refund either on weekly or fortnightly basis. The last point was to stop the pilots from boarding the Goa flight, it was utterly disgusting. Why other passengers should suffer? Just a thought

I am actually embarrased to be indian sometimes by the behavior of the public regarding flight cancellations, the agents are not responsible for flight cancellations at all they do not deserve any abuse at all even if agents aren't helpful as sometimes they can only pass on messages that they are told and usually don't know the reasons sometimes, and in regards with refunds, they can't just process refunds instantly as there is procedures to follow, bank accounts to transfer money back to, travel agents etc,

In my travel experience from past many years, I consistently found Airindia products not up to the mark. Many a times there was delay, machinary issue when everyone was totally boarded, rude behaviour and many more but for god sake never face cancellation of flight. So after those experience I prefer not to book any air india flight even if it was cheaper. I mostly prefer Indigo over Air India as not a single time I am having a problem even though many will not like indigo (for obvious reason). Other than indigo I really like vistara but since it is merging I think it will lose it potential. So In my case I choose Indigo for domestic routes and Other airlines (mostly middle-eastern airlines/ singapore airlines) for my international routes trips.

Hey Harry.. Frankly this issue is nothing compared to what many face sat first week of Jan for international travels.
These is some license which gets renewed in Jan 1 and many staff don't do on time.
I was travelled to Birmingham UK on 3rd Jan in Air India B787 and there were passengers who had flight on 1 Jan waiting at the gate for three days with no arrangement of hotels. Not sure why but on 3rd Jan my flight was delayed for just 3-4 hours only. Really felt bad for those still waiting since 2 days at gates and boarding gates were blocked by these angry passengers.
This I'm talking about international flight. Google it and you may find few video from few pissed-off passengers.
My worst experience - Spice jet had delayed Bangalore to Mumbai night flight by 6 hrs. They had arranged dinner for all after passengers demanded it.

We know the value of his furious when we are in the situation. Now me and my family in 7members booked a indigo flight at 27th 2.25pm to Bengaluru. They told due to repel cyclone they cancelled the flight. They advised avail plan b that is reschedule or refund. When i book flight ticket 7.5k..now the ticket price is 30k per passenger. There is no option for travel from portblair except airline. So i can't afford refund. Because now flight ticket is very high. They asked for reschedule on may 31st. I didn't accept..but they pushed to take that option. They told all seats filled between may 28-30. I asked accommodation. They refused..they just told take refund or travel on may 31st. Just think that situation with aged people, kids.
Then we realised new flight arranged on may 27th at 2.40pm from portblair to Bengaluru..our actual flight was 2.35pm.
We reached indigo airline and they told climate is good now so we are running new flight, this flights are filled so you can't avail this flight.
The indigo airlines calmly says "sorry for the inconveniences and we understand your situation." This is the only way they know. Fuck indigo airline.
With aged people, kids i want to stay here without any financial support because of their fault. They kicked us like a football.
I don't know where to complaint and who can help us.
Even though they cheat us, we can't do anything.

We were going from kol to port blair few years ago, by Air India. Due to bad weather, the plane was brought back to kolkata and the screaming passengers ,oh my god. But Air India provided 5 star hotel to all its passengers and free transportation. I found AI better than Indigo which delayed flights with no help. Whereas AI provided coupons worth thali in airport for its delays.

1. Airlines should be honest upfront at the very first instance on the reason for the delay/cancellation and real delay time. Not in instalments.
2. People need to understand that delay / cancellation is due to certain compulsion and that an airline only makes a loss on cancellation of flight.
Let me tell you that cancellatios usually happen at very last minute, when all passenger have been checked in, and when these things happens it takes some time for the airline to give a solution to passenger. Issues happen in aviation everytime and airlines don´t like cancelling flights, for sure, that´s always their very last resource
so explain why in the US where cancelations are more common due to the weather are 99% of the time handled well by the airline? The airline will always reimburse flights and hotels if necessary. This an air India only issue

You should have a back-up flight for exactly these type of situations, if the flight is cancelled for any particular reason they should have a BACKUP. And if they can't provide a backup, refund the money then and there itself. It's like making the passengers absolutely helpless.
Backup flight? Do you realize that these are not auto's but airplanes which are very expensive. Will we be willing to pay 2x fare? Also, mostly it's weather which causes issue and not some airline fault.

The weather is not gonna be gloomy throughout the day for them to reschedule it to the next day and other airlines too might have made the same decision. It's nothing new with Air India Express/Air Asia India, they don't care about passengers and there was numerous occasions too where they were found to be guilty.
