Death Wish was an amazing series and the story feels all to real for some fathers who have lost everything. Loved how Bruce portrayed an iconic character.
Death Wish is basically like Land Before Times - Fantastic movie followed by lobotomized corporate cash grabs.
Death Wish with Charles Bronson is a great series of movies, the Bruce Willis movie shits on that legacy, just like Statham's Mechanic movies.
This death wish is no where brutal as the old school series.

Good Story of Dad & Daughter. Dad was teaching daughter to drive. Unfortunately, going into a bar to get dads beer. The young girl backed up knocking over a bike. So her father made her go inside, find out who's bike it was, apologise & give details. So packing herself in she goes, asking around finds one of the biggest brutes you could find, fully patched member. Looking down at the girl he listened & infact told her he respects her, as most men would not have the Balls to do what she had done, let alone admit damage. Months go by.. The girl is cornered by a couple of thug would be's.. looking for a good time. Well hello.. look who thunders around the Corner.. in Full Colours ... hits the brake kicks his stand out & says WTF IS GOING HERE ?? What da want wih my womam ??? C'mon girl we are leaving. So on the bike she got. Then she's like where we going, to yours, where do you live ? Then Dad is alarmed, her princess turns up on a big bike. She confessed the story, remember the bike blah blah.. the Bikie shook hands, thanked the family, insurance helped him. He then told them both of respect. Went on his way. You know what would really help a lot of issues.. using words correctly. - We have reached a stage when too many people misuse a word, they just change the dictionary. - When I was young, clapped meant had sex with. - - -Oh and for those that don't know. This was a remake of an old movie. With Charles Bronson. From like the 70's
Clapped never meant that
I wish they had made a sequel to this as I liked it as much as the Charles Bronson one. This was more of a detective version though and included the closure of putting the criminals down whereas the original one just showed the random criminals he encountered after the events that set him on that path.
That's what made the original so good. Charles Bronson's character knew he would never find the original criminals that killed his wife and abused his daughter so he decided to kill as many criminal as he could find. Realistically, in those days without the advance DNA testing, it was always hard to track down murderers and rapists.
