Not gonna happen. But in my case i would appreciate that since i'm shooting with Blackmagic Micro Studio 4K G2 . I got the RS4 and RS3 Pro, RS4 Pro is the best to get, expensive but worth it.
I use the RS3 Mini and agree with every single thing you pointed out. I would also add the ability to reverse the direction of the joystick directions. It's counterintuitive and has to be "re-learned" into our muscle memory. The manual states this can be done in the DJI app but it doesn't seem to be an option. Otherwise from everything you pointed out, functionally the gimble is great though.
That's a great point actually, I'm in the inverted camp too. I want it to work like a flight stick. But it's not unique to the mini, is it? Or do newer models allow inverted joystick?

Great idea.. If only there would be a DJI Mini gimbal that would fit my BMPCC 4K/6K etc. :(
I’m pretty sure I heard of a mini pro gimbal on the road map it will happen
Why not use iPhone 16 pro max, try prores apple log and a smaller gimbal.
Very ideal but it would take a lot of works to get it to work and you better go with Braw than ProRes.
