Hello from Berlin! Nice clip! FX3 & ISO 12800 here as well. I use Cine EI and the dual ISO, then stopp down with a combined glow & VND filter. Looking forward to your next video!
Super 35 was the traditional size of most movies. Not everyone has to shoot it or like it today, but it’s definitely not pointless. When youre shooting narrative work and want to see the set and production design, the you have an easier time getting a deeper depth of field. I pretty much use clear image zoom 50% of the time on my A7IV. Additionally, you can use a wider variety of vintage Cinema lenses. I’d argue that a higher resolution full frame or larger sensor that can give you 4K Super 35 is the best type of sensor, for example, the Red V Raptor
Well yes it's right now the mainstream. You could make the same video called "The Average Filmmaker in 2010" and say something like "Of course I shoot on my flip out screen DSLR in HD quality!" Although I do get the point that many people shoot on expensive gear without really knowing how to use it. Also why would you shoot on super 35 mode when you have a wider field of view on full frame and you can be much more closer to the actor and have the moment be more intimate, not to mention the obvious qualities it also brings with handheld and the ease of use you get when shooting in tighter spaces.
