Garen has infinite mana,build him right,he can just run away and regen health really fast. Yasuo is somewhat balanced. Zilean is somewhat balanced. Veigar can have infinite ap. Master Yi can penta kill easily if built right. Teemo is strong af. Rengar 1-shots people Darius 1-shots people Cho'gath is balanced,I agree with you there. Warwick is REALLY strong early game,so he is SOMEwhat balanced,because he sucks late game,I kinda agree with you there. Ryze,his new rework makes him broken and unkillable when built full AP. if you ever played azir and are wondering why he doesn't seem very good, this spotlight doesn't talk about an extremely important mechanic mastered by all pro azir players: You can use conquering sands (Q) while dashing with shifting sands (E). This changes everything about azir, absolutely everything. His escape range, his engage potential, his combo speed, his burst... When I first bought Azir i didn't know that, but after I realized u could do that Azir went from fucking sloppy to play to fucking awesome.
I remember being so hyped for Azir back in freshman year of high school I ran home after I got off the bus and Azir was disabled for literally a week the second after he came out

Champ looks so fun but tricky to play. Seems like he will be strong and useful to a skilled player with the knowledge of league and Azir mechanics, but a champ that will suck for people aren't as skilled. Awesome job with that one Riot!
This is one of those champs where you rly see the difference between somebody who plays him a lot and somebody who doesnt play him a lot. I Iike it as the satisfaction of hearing "I never rly see a good azir so it's cool to see one now" never gets old. ^^
Always love these old champ spotlight. Looking through these old comments saying stuffs like "oh my god the mechanics" but now we have champs like Aphelios.
They are not that hard honestly. Gets some getting used to for sure but its not really hard to use a combo with him. W (auto attack untill enemy gets out of soldiers range) then Q+E+W (for a second soldier). Try to focus on using a one soldier combo at first (add the second once you get used to the champ). Its not that big of a deal to use just one W since the second soldier only deal 25% of the normal damage and the damage from Q is the same wether or not you have two soldiers (cause the damage is only applied by the first soldier that hits). You'll still deal a very good chunk of damage this way and its not that hard to pull off. As for his ult, early game i STRONGLY recommend to always keep it as an anti-gank ability. Once you use your Combo, you can't use your E to escape, so you are really vulnerable to ganks at that point. Keep the ult to save your ass out of there. Once you start team fighting however you can use the ult to split/block the enemy team which isn't that hard to pull off either. Using the ult on a one or more ennemys in jungle is also very effective as you can really block them in a corner.

i remember back in season 4 - 5 everyone was hyped about azir, when he first released, riot had to disable him for a couple of days, then a patch later they're already changing & nerfing him. my god, this champion was perfect the way he was when you released him, removing his knockup actually killed azir... no joke... removing the bonus AS from his passive too.. rip azir 2014 - 2015, the azir now is no where as good as you were.

Tried him in pbe, I can confirm he is incredibly difficult to use and is entirely item dependent, if not fed early on and gets behind he's more or less useless
Joseph Murray would probably rely more on farm than kills, i never got many kills early with him so i think it would be better to just farm and harrass the oponente away from lane.

TheVoltStrike I see, it takes way too much effort to try and finish off someone with him, unless they are stupid and don't leave lane it's really tough to secure kills with him early. Yea I agree with you there, he's better off farming at the beginning making sure he has the gold for his core items then wreck face in teamfights if his team can lock them down for him to get those insane AA's off on the enemy.

It's not really fighting for himself though, in a way. The soldiers aren't really their own entities; they're more like an extension/upgrade of his normal basic attack.
@luiz7542 no he wouldn't, zed is in wild rift and they ported him pretty nicely , now Zoe is coming, which is also kinda wierd controls, Azir would be easy just add slide to the Q and select the soldier you wanna dash to with E, and that's it
Some guys on reddit did the math, it wasn't that ridiculous because his base attack speed is quite low and the URF attack speed bonus didn't apply to abilities.
I like how the featured a bug in an Azir champion spotlight. Look at how 8:43 - 8:48 , his left most soldiers fail to attack simultaneously with the other soldier after the long distance Q. It turns but doesn't feel like attacking.

heim is easy, focus down heim at range or bait their lasers using a tank and go in for the kill on mr squishy.

Champ looks so fun but tricky to play. Seems like he will be strong and useful to a skilled player with the knowledge of league and Azir mechanics, but a champ that will suck for people aren't as skilled. Awesome job with that one Riot!

This is one of those champs where you rly see the difference between somebody who plays him a lot and somebody who doesnt play him a lot. I Iike it as the satisfaction of hearing "I never rly see a good azir so it's cool to see one now" never gets old. ^^

Looking through these old comments saying stuffs like "oh my god the mechanics" but now we have champs like Aphelios.
I love the turret ability, but the other abilities seem so hard to use.. :/
They are not that hard honestly. Gets some getting used to for sure but its not really hard to use a combo with him.
W (auto attack untill enemy gets out of soldiers range) then Q+E+W (for a second soldier).
Try to focus on using a one soldier combo at first (add the second once you get used to the champ). Its not that big of a deal to use just one W since the second soldier only deal 25% of the normal damage and the damage from Q is the same wether or not you have two soldiers (cause the damage is only applied by the first soldier that hits). You'll still deal a very good chunk of damage this way and its not that hard to pull off.
As for his ult, early game i STRONGLY recommend to always keep it as an anti-gank ability. Once you use your Combo, you can't use your E to escape, so you are really vulnerable to ganks at that point. Keep the ult to save your ass out of there.
Once you start team fighting however you can use the ult to split/block the enemy team which isn't that hard to pull off either. Using the ult on a one or more ennemys in jungle is also very effective as you can really block them in a corner.
Azir IS VERY EASY TO USE YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!

i remember back in season 4 - 5 everyone was hyped about azir, when he first released, riot had to disable him for a couple of days, then a patch later they're already changing & nerfing him. my god, this champion was perfect the way he was when you released him, removing his knockup actually killed azir... no joke... removing the bonus AS from his passive too.. rip azir 2014 - 2015, the azir now is no where as good as you were.

at first i thought Azir would be poor and lame champion but now I see it's only the sun disc that makes him stupid, that spell is overpowered beyond anything Riot came up with so far

Yea I agree with you there, he's better off farming at the beginning making sure he has the gold for his core items then wreck face in teamfights if his team can lock them down for him to get those insane AA's off on the enemy.

It's not really fighting for himself though, in a way. The soldiers aren't really their own entities; they're more like an extension/upgrade of his normal basic attack.

Some guys on reddit did the math, it wasn't that ridiculous because his base attack speed is quite low and the URF attack speed bonus didn't apply to abilities.

I like how the featured a bug in an Azir champion spotlight. Look at how 8:43 - 8:48 , his left most soldiers fail to attack simultaneously with the other soldier after the long distance Q. It turns but doesn't feel like attacking.
