Dj's won't get replaced but we are already moving into a direction where people with large social media followings decide to become DJ's and jump to the front of the queue in terms of bookings in clubs and festivals etc, one of the few ways to get yourself into a position of becoming a bookable DJ/brand is to be a good producer, but soon you will be able to tell AI to make a song like your favourite artist and it will be able to generate something in a matter of seconds, yes a lot of these so called social media DJ's do not produce there own tracks, they use ghost producers but making it so that literally anyone can produce a high quality track using AI and no skill at all will completely over saturate the market by taking away the actual skill it takes to produce music.
LANDR has AI mastering. I used it today. You can upload your track and get a 30-second preview with a few different mastering approaches. Then I realized my bass sounded flubby. So I made changes and then again and then again. When you send your track off to a mastering engineer.. when you have a tight budget that is that's it. But with LANDER AI mastering I got previews so I could make changes. I worked with AI half the day today this way and now my track sounds dope.
6:33 is by far the most important statement. Its def gonna be an incredible tool moving forward. Only reason im not a fan is cause I don’t know WHAT and HOW it can benefit ME (yet)
you can do AI robot speed dating!! (hahaha it was literally a thumbnail and video on my homepage) But I feel you on that...with time there will be more applicable use cases.
This is perfect timing, even I’m starting to see the shift in AI as a “tool” rather than a replacement over the past month from all the brilliant new AI websites. One that does concern me is I just recently heard that AI track that replicated Drake’s & The Weeknd’s voices, and it was _spot on_ so as long as AI is being used the proper way, I’m all for it!
I think people's fear is that, when these tools become more than assistance and time savers. Yes, some people are already worried about the tools rendering their hard earned skills irrelevant, but more so, when these prompts can just write, mix and master the song and anyone can do it and flood the market. Then your 3, 5 or 10 year production journey doesn't benefit you anymore than someone that starts a day ago.
Personally, I see A.I. as a tool that can help us be more creative and efficient. It's like how the internet used to be 20-30 years ago when it was starting out. At first people couldn't imagine what it was capable of, but now it's everywhere and it has undeniably improved our lives. Similarly, the A.I. is expected to do something similar.
I think that A.I is basically another instrument, if you don’t know how to use it you’ll get bad results but if you learn how to use it properly , how to speak it’s language you’ll get great results , just like any VST you have in your DAW
I talked to zack today on the phone hes a pretty cool dude! Im glad I discovered you guys on instagram looking foward for new uploads! If youre reading this zach this is jacob we talked on the phone today keep it up guys
AI is simply means, I'm not fearful of it. Same as atomic energy is actually one of the cleanest and most powerful source of energy (do some research if it somehow interests you at some point) but it was also used for atomic bombs, same with AI: is just means to an end... With a 'proper/good' perfective I feel we can make really good stuff with it, in our case, as artists/music producers.
Nowadays when you look deeper into the credits on a record you can see 10 people writing the song, 5 producers making the record and only one performer 😅. If the AI replace all of these people then I believe it in AI.
Like it or not, music is a business and your music is your product. Any tool that helps you make your product better, faster, and cheaper is worth your time to look into. Also - good to know Zack isn’t AI. He knows so much about music production I was beginning to wonder if he was human like the rest of us. 🤯 thanks for the video!

Going to be interesting to see where it takes us!!
You're damn right! Someday it will going out of control.

Yup!! Completely agree!!
Used gpt to generate random chord progressions, simple, but loved it...

AI will nit replace us. People will replace because anybody will be able to do music
brilliant video Justin! I think all this AI stuff is actually pretty exciting. Can't wait for the next videos 💪
thanks brother ❤️!!
Very interesting! Had my doubt about AI in the first place, but I'll definitely gonna give it a go! Thanks Justin! 🙏🏻
Absolutely!! And like most things AI will adapt/change over time...but for now there are def ways to use it as a tool for success!!
@@TheCosmicAcademy exactly! Doesn't hurt to try it ;)
Not even looked at it yet, I'll definitely take the time in the future soon.
def!! you gotta!!

shhhhhhh 🤫 🤖 Hahahha
IM BACK!!!
first in the comments, first in our hearts
Stop being lazy. Do the work yourself. Stop relying on AI. Simple as that.
It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to AI.
What are some of your favourite AI websites?
Got another video coming up, loaded with them! 😅
Music production and you mention chatGPT and Midjoruney, seriously xd?!
Sorry but its very naïve to think that Ai will be just 'tools' to help us.
