hMail - How to configure SMTP

In this video, I have described how can you configure SMTP settings in hMail server and then configure email client (in this case live mail essentials) to send and receive emails using hMail server.

Thanks a lot for the comment. You can also write the name of the server if your dns server can resolve it. If you do not have dns server, then host file can be amended to point name to ip.

Hi. How would I use hmailserver as a relay to forward my emails to a remote SMTP server? I have a device that does not have internet access but is on the LAN. I'd like to use hmailserver as my SMTP server for this device, but then have hmailserver forward it to my remote SMTP server. Thanks!

Sendgrid I believe is a cloud base service, you don't need to manage anything on premise. But on other hand many people don't want to use cloud services for security reasons.

Did you try sending email inside? If you can then you should be able to send it outside also.
