What a powerful interview!! I want to give a shout out to Ross for his pace and tone... I have seen other interviews of Stephen (usually by people of roughly, I'm guessing, the same age as Ross) and they are so quick to move on to the next, the next, the next, and very little, if any space is given for the words that have been shared to even settle. Stephen is an absolute necessity at this time, he is calling us to the work we must each undertake if we are to even have a tiny inkling of the responsibility and opportunity in these times. Thank you so much for having this interview.
As this master truth teller sums it all up "What matters is if we are willing to live and behave as if what is happening is happening". I feel beaten up by honesty. He makes an extraordinarily powerful case for opening our eyes and waking up.
(1:07:08-1:07:28) "education is the willingness to engage deeply UNWELCOME things about what you know." Looks like we're in for some advanced education.
Iv been watch for a few years at what the arctic ice is doing all the different sources etc etc.....kind of like playing hockey and your the goal tender and the others teams top scorer gets a break away you become silently focused on that little black object..... We have come to the time we're a thousand break a ways are about to unfold at one time....on the lighter side spend time in nature go to a down town park were nature lives it's the place to soak it in...thank you both for your talk...
You must be nearby. Hugh. I am a nurse and also so interested in Palliative Care. I am now 56 and await a new and interesting new experience in my personal life. Thank you.
As a white European ancestor being, I found an empty history as I became an adult. I am now 80 years old and 20 years ago I found this idea from a shamanic cultural teaching. I am a human and as a human I am a determiner. Not a free will individual rather a determiner of the very future of this world. From the time that I heard this teaching it took two or three years just to get a handle on it. Now as I listen to this interview with Steven jenkinson my idea of my being in this world is even stronger to accept that I determine the very outcome of life on Earth. Radical ayy?
