You should order some ice pads off of Amazon for at home, the frida mama perennial foam, and order a bidet attachment for your toilet it works so much better than the spray bottle they give you. Pack snacks and a large water bottle as well. Also when you go to the hospital if anyone gives you an off vibe or puts you in any type of distress have them replaced by another staff member. Your mental wellbeing is just as important as your physical.

When I was a new mama, I wish someone told me to bring a post partum belly band to keep everything together especially just in case god forbid you have an emergency c section. (Ended up getting one for my 2nd pregnancy) They are amazing, also get yourself one of those cheap packs of cotton pantries by Hanes or fruit of the loom. Also dry shampoo spray cause you might be too exhausted or in pain to shower. And bring yourself a hair tie ! If you’re planning on pumping, bring your pump or a haaka if you have one, you can always pump colostrum the nurses will save and give to Elijah to feed baby so you could sleep. Good luck and remember your affirmations when in labor !!
The hospital honestly has everything you’ll need. It’s nice to pack things that you like though because it makes you feel more comfortable and prepared.

Hi Kayla!! My mommy tip is to avoid future stress by organizing your baby items by size! I was always getting random sizes of clothes and it was all so confusing and overwhelming. Once baby grows out of one size all you have to do is take out the next bin with the next size up!

It gets so cold in the hospital so bring warm cozy cloths I’m a very young mom of 3 baby’s and my goodness i was having some postpartum issues after the my first was born so I stayed for 2 weeks and oh my goodness it was freezing!!

I planned to use the hospital underwear as well, but last minute decided to bring the Always ones & I was SO glad I did. I’m pretty petite like you & the hospital underwear felt sooo loose, especially because you have to put a huge maxi pad in it to soak up the blood 🥴 (sorry if it’s TMI lol) The Always underwear has a built in pad already & it hugs your body so it feels so much better than the hospital ones (every time I went to the bathroom I felt like it was falling off of me). Also as for the Dermoplast spray, the hospital provided that for me so the one you bought I would keep at home & get as many cans from hospital as you can lol that spray is amazing! Good luck girl!
