Minnesota United is my MLS team, it's a cool stadium and it hosts the national team occasionally. You would like that the fans sing Wonderwall after the game
New Jersey has lot of stadiums for NYC teams because they have more land to work with close by and since they're a part of the metro area it works for having fans from all over attend games
Not bad buys. I was hoping to see our Seattle Sounders pop up. Soccer is very very popular here. An employee of mine passed away about 10 years ago and he had had an extensive memorabilia collection of Sounders merch acquired since the team was formed. He donated his entire collection to the Sounders museum (the Ninety) a few months before his death. He had every pin, scarf, flag, shirt the team every offered for sale. Oddly he was not from Europe or any other soccer made country. Born an American. He grew up in Seattle before the city had any professional sports teams. Apparently this soccer franchise (not sure it was called the Sounders back then) was the first team he identified with his home city and he loved them dearly. RIP Bernard "Barney" Lafluer. Very entertaining video once again OB's.☺☺
Sorry to hear that mate. Yea most of us identify with our home town teams when they acquire a new franchise. He must of groaned alot when the Supersonics left town. I never understood why the fans gave up on them to the point it was financially ruining the franchise. Here in Boston we stick by our teams win or lose.

I live in Seattle but I was born and raised in San Diego as a Padre fan. Talk abut long suffering. lol..😝

We’re pretty lucky to have a nice MLS stadium in Minnesota, the sad thing is it only exists because we couldn’t get close to selling out US bank stadium for soccer. Still a really great stadium
That Allianz Field in Minnesota played host to the US v Honduras World Cup Qualifier back in February 2022 - probably one of the coldest games ever...the temperature was -18 C. As a RB fan it was funny watching you guys look at the NYC Boroughs but not at the NY State itself, even though RB Arena is in NJ, one tip is to look at the Newark Skyline itll end your guesses of it being anywhere near the city. (Queens, Brooklyn, Manhatten etc)
They put New York team stadiums in New Jersey because there is more space and it’s right across the river from Manhattan. Just not many options around New York City in New York state unless you go way up north of NYC. They’d rather have stadiums in New Jersey right next to manhattan.
Y’all really need to use the arrows at the corner of the map to expand it rather than squinting at the corner of the screen. It helps a lot. Also the compass at the top never seems to be used when pinpointing which side of the stadium you’re on.
Unlucky on the Minnesota round, but not bad on the other rounds. It's tough because you either know where the stadium is or you don't. Maybe give yourself some more time each round. I made two more maps. One for Sophie to do and one for Aidan to do. Search Sophie Places for the Sophie map. Search Aidan Places for the Aidan map. These are businesses that have Sophie or Aidan in their name. Would be best if everybody helps each other and use no time limit. Good luck!
Many soccer (football) teams in the US have developed their own stadiums with quite good capacity for the sport. Anything above 15 - 20K is a fairly good size football ground and there are quite a few in the US and Canada that have popped up over the past 5-10 years. What's more impressive is the sizes keep growing and many lower league teams are developing their own grounds as well. Allianz Field is a soccer-specific stadium, as we call them in the US, whereas the Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta is shared between Atlanta United FC and the Falcons, much like in Seattle, Foxborough (Mass), and Chicago currently.
i would get a zero in this challenge, no one except for Young boys and Purple haired "girls" care about "Association Football" shortened to "Soccer" by the British..it's a child's game.

NYCFC is going to Flushing Meadows, Queens but still at Yankee Stadium (BX). World's Fair was held. Now U.S. Open, Citi Field (NY Mets), & Queens Zoo.

The stadium in Atlanta is home to the Atlanta Falcons. Soccer is also played there.
Allianz seats about 20,000. Mercedez Benz in ATL is like 74,000. NFL Atlanta Falcons play there, too.

Allianz in Minnesota was finished several years ago. Those are very old pictures on google maps.
