    Sawbo, Inc - I’m a relatively young woman of 39 I had a stroke last august and am gaining back mobility of my fingers, hand I’m already at last stage of recovery so this video is great for the stage I’m at. Have u ever seen a person that is at last stage of recovery from stroke to make a full recovery?

    • @SaeboInc
      @SaeboInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Isabelle, yes we have, but everyone has a different definition of full recovery. Some people will return to not noticing a deficit at all, others describe that they have a small deficit like coordination or slightly slower movement. Nonetheless, we wish you all the best in gaining whatever level of recovery you imagine. - Dr Scott

    Dr. Scott, thank you for showing such a variety of exercises!
    I had a stroke almost 3.5 years ago, hemiplegia on the right side. My ring and little fingers don't listen to what I want them to do. The little finger is especially tight when I raise my hand or do similar movements. What could you advice me? If I may send you the photos/videos, that would be great!

    • @SaeboInc
      @SaeboInc  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for sharing! If you want to work on those fingers, then what's stopping you? Nothing! You can do exercises, but need to focus on those muscles specifically. Repetition repetition repetition. You'll have the ability you're looking for in no time! - Dr Scott

      @@SaeboInc Dr. Scott, which particular exercises would you recommend me?

  • @pranaypiyush9264

    Hello Dr Scott,
    Thanks for this awesome video. I have problem in opening my fingers. Can you give some advice for technique/occupational therapy that helps to open up the fingers after which these exercises would be worthful. Thanks

    • @SaeboInc
      @SaeboInc  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pranay, one of the easiest ways to help open your fingers is to stretch them and lay your palm against a flat surface like a table or counter top. Holding your hand in an open position while your arm rests on the table too, will help reduce your spasticity for the moment. Then, you can use all sorts of tools like our SaeboStim line (Micro, One, Pro) to help you with reducing spasticity and gaining movement. Keep up the good work!

    Very good 👍 exercises. Thank you!Do you think that a person around 85 can keep improving after a year?

    • @SaeboInc
      @SaeboInc  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, definitely. We have helped people even 23 years post-stroke. If you have the motivation to get better, and the support to keep you motivated, you'll do great. It's all about the effort you put towards your recovery. I believe you can improve! - Dr. Scott
