My mom is a narcissist and always put on a happy show for everyone around us and it made me hate her for so long. instead of belittling her daughter for experimenting with drugs, the better approach would be for her to apologize to her daughter and take responsibility for setting a not so good example in that department.
Exactly! And now that her daughter is more grown and has turned into a beautiful young lady, why would she even want to post her face on the Internet and put her on the spot with loaded questions. With all of the issues in today’s society with trafficking and predators online I would not want to be showing my daughters face if it were evident that I’m not there to protect her. What a stupid woman she is.
I don't think I could be any more disgusted with this woman that I am now watching her call out her daughter for drugs while she's sitting there as an addict
She doesn't want her daughter to follow in her footsteps-no one chooses addiction, including Alicia. We should give her credit for all the times she was strong and sober, holding down a job while homeless.Relapse is part of recovery as you have to learn to deal with all the hard stuff without reaching for something to numb it out.Consider yourself lucky if you've never found yourself stuck in a bad situation or dealt with devastating circumstances without the proper emotional 'tools' to cope
@@CB-ds8jt thats what I was saying I don't understand people in the comments saying why would she call her daughter out on it? Like what is she supposed to say nothing 😭 because she did it she knows the effects better than anyone so she knows not to let her daughter continue now if her daughter sees this maybe she'll feel some guilt and stop but instead people demonized it as if thats something a bad mother would do
I don’t know but it’s crazy to blame Alaska for her daughter smoking weed while the mom had her living on the streets while addicted to heroin. Maybe it wasn’t Alaska, maybe she learned that behavior from you, mom. Just saying. You have to be real with yourself if you want to change for the better.
I can’t believe she put her daughter on the spot like that. I could feel the betrayal and humiliation coming through the screen. Poor girl. I hope she finds success in life, and happiness.
I agree. Besides that, the drug problem in Alaska is nothing compared to LA, and especially on skid row. I think that the mom is looking for a free ride for her daughter to get back to her now and then figure out the rest later with custody, etc. How does a parent justify bringing a young 14 year old girl into an environment such as LA? That is irresponsible.
I came here to say the same thing. Poor girl! Some kids get dealt a rough set of card in life. Hope she doesn't turn out to be like her mum...... But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree unfortunately
That was tough to watch. Mom should’ve backed off. She’s not even raising her and i honestly don’t think she’s ready to bring this precious innocent baby girl with her. Mom needs a lot of parenting classes.
Patience isn't dumb, she instantly stopped sharing her life when her mom accused her of experimenting with drugs. She knows her peers are going to watch this video and neighbors, her father, grandmother, and the entire Internet.
I worked for years in a shelter for abused and neglected kids. Nothing but crocodile tears and self pity. Her daughter has never been a priority, just drugs and men. This phone call is further exploitation and Patience deserves better.
I agree the best thing she can do is get her life right & try to have a relationship w/her daughter in the future. 13 isn't too far away from 18. She'll be lucky if her daughter doesn't recent her. Itz tuff & heartbreaking when your kid turns 18 & says they don't have to listen to you anymore. That happened to me & I'm not a addict. Here I am 6yrs later & things are still not resolved. 6yrs of not knowing how my son was,he didn't answer text, emails or calls. Wouldn't come out to see me when I stopped by his dad's house. I worried daily all that time & probably cried every day. Finally I got a text out of the blue recently to tell me he was doin good & he Luvd me. I'll take that,it might be small but it's something. I just know if I were her I'd find a woman's group home that has drug treatment counselors away from skid row. She's got to stop being the victim also or things will never change.
Exactly what I was thinking. How ignorant does that mom have to be to think that being homeless with your drug addicted parent on skid row wouldn't effect Patience?
@@couchprincess698, "this lady" has issues and apparently has for a long time. No doubt she loves her daughter but she doesn't yet have the tools to guide her. A little empathy goes a long way.
Mom shouldn’t have thrown her daughter under the bus like that publicly, of course Patience is going to be pissed and have an attitude about it! Have respect for your poor daughter
Her intention wasn’t to throw her daughter under the bus. She’s doing interviews from SKID ROW on Soft White Underbelly for cripes sake. This is real life, she’s lived it and isn’t about to allow society’s need for niceties and polite conversation to get in the way of being honest about and with her daughter. That is what, stick your head in the sand, parents do with often grave consequences.
The mom absolutely does not deserve to make any choices for her child. She is not in custody of her, so the only person who should be able to make the choices for schooling is her and the grandma.
Shut up! She made the ultimate decision by sending her to Alaska to be with her Grandma, that's her daughter & shes still in her life. She might still be trapped in Skid row but that doesnt limit her from making decisions or having an opinion in her daughters life. I doubt you're a parent.
@@Vistacraft82if I sent my child to someone else I wouldn’t try and dictate anything, just bc I’m not a parent doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about kids.
Having a child living with you when you're homeless is never right! Especially when the parent is into drugs. This poor child has experienced so much trauma I'm surprised she got to 13 without using any for of substances. It's just horrible and heartbreaking what's happened to that girl. I also don't understand how parents can be homeless for years with their children without CPS doing shit!
Yeah, she should have NEVER been brought to the streets! The mom made a HUGE mistake.. There should have been a family member who could have taken her in... And it's not like the mother became homeless in LA ~ she came there from Alaska...
@@greenie75I have to admit that I know nothing about Alaska. However my view on home schooling is thst it gets as good as the parent or person who is teaching in the home. I also feel that children being taught home very often fall out of the system even more than those in public schools.
She seems like a nice woman, but also a perpetual victim. As someone who was a dope fiend for years, that is part of the peculiar mental twist that keeps people sick. They are unable to see their own part in their circumstances, which results in them doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. May she find the help she needs so she can be the mother Patience obviously needs.
They're not empowered low esteem despondent...everyone needs to believe in themselves or have someone who does...but once over this hurdle they can then fight up.
@@JJ-he3rl I’m not judging her. I shot heroin for years and can speak from personal experience. Part of the mental obsession that accompanies physical addiction is the self centered thinking which makes it very hard for someone in active addiction to see outside of their own perception. It’s one of the reason why people feel as though they don’t have the ability to change their circumstances and get recovered. I have immense empathy and compassion for anyone struggling with a substance abuse problem.
@@RLFinTX I have plenty of grace for drug addicts, having been one myself for almost 20 years. There is absolutely more to this story. She wants housing, but she also wanted her boyfriend, who she admitted made it very hard for her to even work. He did her a favor by breaking up with her. I find it funny that so many people, like yourself take everything some of these people say as literal facts. I have a bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you…
Horrible mother to do that to her daughter exposing their private conversations. Poor girl and the mom is laughing. Thats the stuff that hurts the worst the betrayal and notice how Patience doesn't betray her mother. So sad
I'm sorry, but a mother who's willing to put her juvenile daughters business out on Front Street, especially when daughter so clearly doesn't want anybody to know these things, is dead ass wrong! 😠
Yeah, I feel they are both wrong for putting her information out there, mental health treatment, things like that are so personal and they just freely share it. That was not her mother‘s story to tell.

@@Vistacraft82 she seemed jaded and hardened by the poor choices the adults in her life have made for her. If she was “moming” her mother, who was “moming” her? Children shouldn’t have to take on adult problems.
Drugs are saturated in all states not just Alaska or California. California is a very tough place to live if a person/persons are homeless. At least in Alaska people are paid to actually live there annually. Not sure about resources for homelessness in Alaska but should be some help. Avoid drugs in any state and a person will be fine.@@DSPsWifesBF
it deleted my comment but i am patiences best friend and have been there for her. and all i can say is her mom lied on her so badly is sickens me to my stomach. i will not stop until patience gets the respect she deserves.
Keep being there for her!! She will need friends like you. For what it's worth, her mom's lies are easy to see through. No one watching this is on her side.
Imagine the daughter’s future employers, coworkers, etc. gaining access to this? I think at 14, she handled herself better with her mom putting everything on blast than I would’ve.

That call... Oh my, I really felt the awkwardness. The way Patience says "You're unbelievable" well, she clearly felt embarrassed and kind of enraged with that question, specially because she knows Mark is there too and it seems to me like Alice has already exposed her before, just putting her on the spot. It makes me sad that they don't seem to have a close relationship, the eye-rolls, the short answers. It's not just puberty, she wasn't comfortable from the start. :(
I feel very sorry for sweet Patience that her mom put her on the spot about using drugs. I agree, unbelievable. Please, Mark, consider taking this video down.
Her real problem is, is that she is selfish and self centered bc she wants both. So, when she can’t manage to have those two things coexist together, one of them has to go, and unfortunately, it’s not the drugs.
Alicia had me fooled the first video. I genuinely believed her story. Her actions just don’t align with what’s coming out of her mouth and now I see it.
Mark i really think you should take this video down too. 14 is such a vulnerable age and kids in her school will give her a hard time and judge her for knowing she has experimented with drugs. Just my opinion❤
@@jorel6745 Yes, he took down the first video with the daughter in it because she was getting bullied. The mom talks about it at the first of the video
I admittingly would think she was lying about the housing but a family member just experienced this BS... the system is a fkn joke, ignoring calls, last minute changes & requests....all these billions of tax dollars are not being used correctly & make it ridiculously hard for them. Took over 6 mths to get her in a place AFTER they " approved" her then asked for $3k DEPOSIT , system needs to be audited
It needs FAR more than auditing at this point. People need to be held accountable. Those who screwed around and failed to do their job, resulting in negative outcomes for the same people who were already in crisis, need to be held personally accountable for their failures. Once we get a little accountability things will change.
Absolutely true. I adopted my daughter (now age 35) just after her 2nd birthday, in 1991. At the time of her placement, there were almost 1,000 children available for adoption in the county I was working with. For the entire YEAR, 64 children were placed. I got the distinct feeling all during the placement process that none of the staff particularly cared if they made placements or not. At one point, before the final paperwork completed, I tried to get some info about my daughter's birth family, specifically her parents, for when I talked to her about the adoption when she got a little older. The caseworker looked at me and said, "...this is a closed adoption. If you want any info on the family, you need to go elsewhere." So, I asked her, "...so, what do I tell my daughter if she has questions when she gets older?" Her response was, "...if you want to stop this placement, fine with me." County social services departments are a complete joke. They are usually staffed by people who make VERY good money who have very little to no regard for the people they're supposed to be helping. My daughter is doing well, by the way, despite having a VERY difficult first two years. Adopting her has been the most rewarding thing I could have ever done with my life.
Unless ALL the Government Systems are RE-VAMPED there will NEVER be a change! These Govt Assisted Programs were put in place many many years ago. Some during the the worst times in US History. They were NEVER meant to be a ‘Lifestyle’ they were meant to be a Temporary help.
Yeah that was fucking horrible to watch. You could feel the distain she had for her mom so much. Seems like there's been a lot of damage done to their relationship. I hope they can find a way to mend things before she just completely hates her mom.
Damn. That last part with Patience was very uncomfortable to watch. You can completely see her shut down when her mom put her business out there. I wonder if Alicia feels justified regarding her own behavior, now that she can say her daughter has (allegedly) also tried drugs. Or perhaps less alone dragging her daughter down with her? Most teens will experiment with things they know they shouldn’t, she’s not alone in that aspect. Patience seems like she’s growing into a strong woman, I hope she can find her way into a happy life ❤
Narrator has a moral obligation to consider the impact of this on the child. Child and non custodial parent consent should not be the only metric for posting this.
Mark, dont do it !!! No more cars. No apartment. If she really cares about her little girl , its time she prove it. She needs to go to Alaska and be a mother, to her daughter. She lives in a fantisy world to sit there and say, skid row did Not effect her child. I saw every interview you did with that poor child. I was waiting for the follow up. Thank you for doing it. She put drugs and men a head of the beautiful littke girl, always. Its time she be a real mother to that child.
It's ridiculous that case worker's are requiring HOMELESS people to EMAIL or CALL them. Take the dang computers AWAY from these people. They work with people on the streets, children, and babies for crying out loud! They should NOT be using email or phone for contacting these people, they certainly shouldn't be ABLE to ignore their customers calls.
I’m sure there is a helluva lot more to it than what she is presenting. Never fully believe an adddict. Everything presented is most likely a 1/2 truth.
They aren’t caretakers and they have to juggled more than one case because there are not enough workers in the field to prioritize certain people. It’s not the job of a case worker to always reach out, they can make inquires, but the people they are assigned to have to reach out for help. The most simplest method is show up at the office in person. And a lot of caseworks have clients they don’t hear from in months even when they call on them because some clients are not helpful to themselves due to their own self-destructive personality which is rampant amongst addicts and homeless people and a lot of the time they don’t wanna admit to their case workers they relapsed again because that can cause more problems when they are supposed to stay off drugs to receive help.
@@celestialcircledance that's my point, ignoring them should not be an option imo. They're raping the rest of us through taxes FOR this crap and IF they want my hard earned money than they better us it appropriately. The money the US people pay into this system should be used to do what they claimed it was for, NOT to pay these lazy people only for them to ignore their customers concerns. Sorry but this is the sad state of things whenever the government attempts to correct the problems that they themselves created.
Why did she try to embarrass her daughter asking her if she’s doing drugs, for all who watch SWU to see and hear? You’re worried about your daughter wanting to go to REAL SCHOOL with real people, because there might be drugs, when you yourself said you were doing heroin in front of her. She’s better off where she’s at, and if you actually cared about your daughter and her wellbeing, you wouldn’t be pushing so hard for “homeschool”. After the last 5 years. She needs friends and people to be around. Not waiting around for mom to potentially, maybe, get her life together. She’ll be 18 and graduating before that ever happens. From Alaska myself I would never allow my child to be sent to North Star. Alaska is rough unless you can keep your child busy in sports and in other activities. Please mama get yourself sober and make a great come back for yourself and for your daughter.
I’m from Alaska as well and I agree that sending a child to North Star is one of the worst decisions a parent can make. My sister was sent there briefly due to her mental health and she came out traumatized and suffers from PTSD from whatever happened to her inside that place. 😢
Please take the interview off with the daughter. She is not old enough to consent while understanding the possible long term consequences. Mom doesn’t seem to have the capacity or sense of responsibility to protect her either.
Honest question: why would Alicia say Patience needs to home school and home high school if I understand correctly? You will learn more if you go public and high school instead of being home schooled? More access to information and people and making social connections and building for the future?

I’ve often thought about Patience since watching her first interview. Such a beautiful young girl. I pray she makes the right decisions throughout life.
I’m betting Patience will read every comment on here so I’ll try to be gentle. It brings me to tears to see a child going through this foolishness. Her mother is indeed unbelievable. Selfish people shouldn’t have kids. Drug addicts should be banned from children’s lives. I’m sure patience is feeling lost and listless. As a 44 year old former addict, it can be overcome. I’m still on a journey of recovery but as a single mom of 3, just keep pushing forward Alicia. She’s so well spoken and thoughtful.. I wish she had stability because she’s in this earth for a reason. Her voice needs to be heard. ♥️
No judgement to Alicia, but she needs to let patience live her life. She has this fantasy of what life COULD be like if patience was with her. I went to school in a super rural part of Texas and then ended up moving close to Dallas. Both had drugs. Everywhere has drugs. Patience is going to have to learn one way or another to either say no or face the consequences. Keeping her isolated from everyone isn't going to change that, ESPECIALLY if the kid wants to go to public school. Both women are beautiful and it's clear they are strong. I wish them both happiness in whatever happens next. 💛💛💛
Completely agree, it is fully up to Patience whether she follows in her mother’s footsteps and she just needs trust, love, and empowerment. She can be strong against drugs in any location.
In the first part of the interview Alicia kept talking about how her attempts to get housing kept falling through so I was surprised and a little confused when it was confirmed that she did get housing in the interview with her daughter that followed . I hope I can believe what I am hearing and it is a done deal. It is great that her daughter loves math since so many interesting and well-paying jobs require it , but I hope she doesn't get sidetracked hanging out with the wrong crowd .

Have you ever done an interview with someone(s) battling infertility? It can be a very long mentally challenging journey so i was curious to see if you have. Thank you.
Why would anyone talk about their teen experimenting with drugs??? That is not something that needs to be broadcasted on a channel with 5.5 million subs. And mark honestly you should edit that part out that’s not cool and Patience is clearly upset by it. Also what’s that going to do for her in the future? Don’t set her up for failure!!!!
She shouldn’t have put her daughter on blast by saying “you’ve been experimenting with drugs now huh?” That totally ruined the convo and made her put up a wall. Also, making false statements like “everyone is on drugs in Alaska” makes the mom look ridiculous. Even Patience knew that was a dumb statement.
Not unlike most teenagers! The mother had no right to bring that up and put her on the spot in front of the world.. I think mom needs to worry about her own addiction keeping her on the street separated from her child, and not the other way around
Wow she looks older than 14. So beautiful. Why it went silent at math idk. Goodness greatness make something of it. A teacher or a scientist. Go girl go!!!
Yes! Makes me think of supermodel Cindy Crawford, who was modelling in Chicago during high school and received a full scholarship in Chemical Engineering. Why? She said so few women (back in 80s but still true) entered those fields that it was a smart way to pay for college. And she put modelling on hold and earned a degree! Hopefully, Patience will pursue her math studies and qualify for a full scholarship at a great school. What a way to put her past behind her. Beautiful, bright girl. She deserves only the best life has to offer.
I remember Patience with her baby turtles in that tiny plastic container with just a little dirty water & thinking how those turtles reflected what was happening to her so well. Trapped with her “caretaker” in a place she should never be. What her mom has done to her is so unfair & it will take her years and years to unravel all of it.

There was no, "I love you" from either Alicia or Patience as tthey ended this video chat. I wanted to watch this scene again to make sure I didn't miss it. Patience is very stoic and it's hard to read her body language. It seems that Patience resents having to answer to her Mother and her best choice was to stay silent. I'm sure patience has much more to say about the relationship between herself and her Mom. There is more 'work' that needs to be done here. I wish them well.
What a shame she has jumped through hoops to help her housing and no one is helping how do people expect u to get better with no help where is the compassion from people my heart goes out to u 😢
I pray for her and her daughter. Unless you've been in their situation, it's hard to understand. My mom has been an addict since I was a toddler, and when she used to try to 'parent' me while I was living with different family members, I admit that I often took it with a grain of salt because it was so hypocritical at the time. As I get older, I realize that addiction is not as easy as waking up one day and quitting. She just wanted me to learn from her mistakes but didn’t love herself enough to apply it to herself. I can tell this mother really loves her daughter. Life is just hard right now. It doesn’t help that drugs like fentanyl are 20 times stronger and harder to get off of, and inflation is so high that people can’t even afford to eat. Stay strong and have hope; things WILL get better.

@christinewagner-mh8of after watching all her Mum went through with drugs you can tell Patience is disgusted by the thought of doing drugs

She should not be sharing her daughter's personal life on social media.
I don't think I could be any more disgusted with this woman that I am now watching her call out her daughter for drugs while she's sitting there as an addict

She probably views that as what a good mom does. Could be cultural.
You put my thoughts into words beautifully. Terribly sad situation for them both.
Ya it was cringey. I would've probably started crying right there on the spot if I was the daughter
That is irresponsible.
hi im her friend. ive always been there for her and u can trust me when i say she feels betrayed. she didnt want to be involved in this video at all.
Omg. I can't believe her mother did that . Poor little girl. I pray she's doing ok .

Yep. That or someone will try to pimp her out. Her skid row BF will definitely try to take advantage of her.

I'm surprised she didn't disappear already on skid row
To think that Patience living on the street didn't affect her...very unrealistic
Exactly what I was thinking. How ignorant does that mom have to be to think that being homeless with your drug addicted parent on skid row wouldn't effect Patience?
She doesn’t want to blame herself.
MOM IS A HYPOCRITE ABOUT THE DRUGS. LET THE GIRL GO TO HIGH SCHOOL. SHE NEEDS TO LEARN.
Mom is probably overly worried about it given what has happened in her life. She needs to let Patience grow up and she needs to trust her.

@@couchprincess698, "this lady" has issues and apparently has for a long time. No doubt she loves her daughter but she doesn't yet have the tools to guide her. A little empathy goes a long way.

She seems like a nice woman, but also a perpetual victim. As someone who was a dope fiend for years, that is part of the peculiar mental twist that keeps people sick. @@JJ-he3rl I’m not judging her. I shot heroin for years and can speak from personal experience.
If you want any info on the family, you need to go elsewhere." So, I asked her, "...so, what do I tell my daughter if she has questions when she gets older?" Her response was, "...if you want to stop this placement, fine with me."
County social services departments are a complete joke. They are usually staffed by people who make VERY good money who have very little to no regard for the people they're supposed to be helping.
My daughter is doing well, by the way, despite having a VERY difficult first two years. Adopting her has been the most rewarding thing I could have ever done with my life.

I’m in Canada and you can’t collect welfare unless you have an address! So homeless people just keep getting kicked down harder
It seems like she's hitting a wall and it's not like she would be believed over the case worker if she complained about it .

No, it really is not. They have warming centers and a massive bed bug infestation. Lots of drugs, too.
My sister worked with the unhoused there.
@@kathylewis2484she has a roof over her head in Alaska. She doesn’t in skid row.
How is this even an argument?
@DSPsWifesBf
The way it looks right now, it isn't an argument. The comment I was responding to was deleted.
@@kathylewis2484i live in alaska and im patiences friend. i can say for a fact yes there are some druggies here and there because literally every town has that? it is a very successful place. i js got accepted into the best highschool there is here and they have mechanics class and i can say its the best. and she will shortly be staying with me and will be attending the 2nd best highschool across from it.
The daughter is obviously attempting to have some level of privacy and the mom just keeps violating that. But this is what happens when you live in a way that everything is exposed, you cannot fathom others wanting or deserving different.
I’ve often thought about Patience since watching her first interview. Such a beautiful young girl. I pray she makes the right decisions throughout life.
Wow, Alicia has changed so much I hardly recognized her. I wish the best for Patience. She had such a tough childhood living on Skidrow as a kid.
My thoughts.. The system doesn't give a d@mn about the lost and without.
Can you imagine if your parents brought you onto skid row as a child? Where would you be? Mom had the nerve to berate her daughter for perhaps trying pot despite being a street rat fentanyl junkie. I have compassion for people. I know life isn’t easy. But people who don’t properly love or take care of children are scum to me. Fuck your drugs. Fuck your boyfriends. Fuck you. Get your ass to work on being a mother. Patience you can rise above it all. Be smart. Enjoy those high school years and be good to yourself. I hope your dad is an actual adult. Love from New Orleans.
Yeah, that was gentle.
@@RLFinTXlol it started off gentle.
It was aimed at the mom though. Not Patience.
Everything you said! 1000%
Girrrrl,, BOOM... You said it! 💯
Yes your right I do read every comment
Awe our Patience is so big now. I wish her and her mom the best ♥️
As a mom ❤ i want to give you an advice dont do this to your teen daughter, she will get so angry with you and shutdown 😢.
And with your background you cant be doing this to her 😡😡😡
You literally thrown her under a bus , a train and drowned her same time .
Call her an apologies.
Please
This video needs to come down. As much I adore Patience to pieces, this will hurt Patience more than help her. Her mom putting her like that on the spot was not cool at all. Let Patience have her confidence to make better decisions than her mom. Let her break that cycle where her mom was not able to do that for her. I hope you become a math whiz young lady!
She is stating that she is reading all the comments. Maybe this is helping her a little - to see how people in the wider world view the situation. It could be therapeutic... maybe?
@@greenie75I don’t think at 14 she feels like her whole life being aired to the world is therapeutic and this video should be removed
@@kyliewalker1479 At 14, it would have been very therapeutic for me to see what people thought of my mom. My mom gaslit me by making me out the be a scum-of-the-earth teenager to everyone she met. I started to believe her narrative because she isolated me from other significant adults. The ability to access other perspectives through social media would have helped me so much. It was an agonising life... until I ran away at 16.
Praying, for this child! She deserves So much more.. Then this, woman as A mother. Sad, So Sad!
I don't think I have ever disliked a stranger more than this woman. The hurt and hatred in Patience's eyes was palpable.
Been there, have felt that myself. Narcissistic mothers are soul-destroying. Patience! If you see this! You are a beautiful young woman. You are strong and mature for your years. Make a goal to do better than your Mum, work hard, enjoy the natural beauty of Alaska. Don't become your Mom by getting wasted and losing focus. You can do it!
I hope the daughter has a happy and fulfilling life. I can’t say peaceful bc it’s never peaceful with an addict parent that still has contact with you.. it just isn’t. They’re too chaotic and victimize their self too much.. and project a lot. But I pray this girl can beat the odds and we see her in 5 years headed to college 🙏🏽
I love how Mark helps people
I wonder how long the car he gave her lasted?
@@greenie75she said someone stole it...🤔
Yeah, if they don’t die #amanda
This video isn’t helping anyone but Mark and Alicia and it should be taken down.
It is great that her daughter loves math since so many interesting and well-paying jobs require it , but I hope she doesn't get sidetracked hanging out with the wrong crowd .
hi this patiences friend and i agree with you! but also i can 100% say shes not hanging out with the wrong crowd, if anything shes hanging around the right people influencing her to invest in a career and be successful trust me!!
@@christinewagner-mh8of Then she's on the right track!
She's got more excuses than Carter's got liver pills 🙄
Thinking the same exact thing, all these people are full of shit
Ha,ha....good one
Omg I haven't heard that phrase since my grandma passed. Thank you
It's actually Carter's Little Pills; and yes, I remember them.
Patience has officially run out of patience.
Our sweet Patience is now smoking pot and drinking? Thats so so sad to hear.
Not unlike most teenagers! The mother had no right to bring that up and put her on the spot in front of the world.. I think mom needs to worry about her own addiction keeping her on the street separated from her child, and not the other way around
Normal teenager stuff lol I was 14 doing the same.
Not a good idea at any age for a person with a genetic predisposition.
@@moregravity033 Not “normal”. Where were your parents.
She saw it all on Skid Row! She also saw prostitutes, pimps, hardcore drug addicts.... No child should be exposed to those things!
Keep her out of Cali. She doesn’t need to move to her mom and end up on skid row at 14
I remember Patience with her baby turtles in that tiny plastic container with just a little dirty water & thinking how those turtles reflected what was happening to her so well. Trapped with her “caretaker” in a place she should never be. What her mom has done to her is so unfair & it will take her years and years to unravel all of it.
Patience is a beautiful girl. It breaks my heart to think of how treacherous her path is. May God protect her and her mom.
Hi Mark, I have a lot of respect for you and the work you share for us. I clicked to watch because I remembered Patience from an earlier video and I was interested to see if she was ok. Please take this video down. Patience looks like she's doing beautifully where she is and she doesn't need the internet adding to her burdens.
Imagine calling your daughter out for doing drugs 🤦🏻♂️
hi this is patiences friend and i completely agree with you! she lied on her though practically through the whole time! but trust me she doesnt do drugs lol
I wish them well.
listening to other people stories of survival, homelessness. addiction, SA,etc make me appreciate everything, even my petty struggles.
What a shame she has jumped through hoops to help her housing and no one is helping how do people expect u to get better with no help where is the compassion from people my heart goes out to u 😢
I’m sure this woman has told half truths here. What has she done to deserve anything?
@@Toddtoddy78I agree
Yeah she's lying hard lol there's tons of help out there for her. She's just letting everything get "stolen"
I’m sure there’s more to the story that what we are hearing 🤥

Patience if you read this just know there are ppl that want to see you succeed in life. Just take care of yourself & be the best you. I hope you make some awesome HS memories. Maybe some day if your mom gets her life together you'll find it in your heart to forgive her,not for her but for yourself. I'm rooting for you. L&R
Patience please find what you’re passionate about and go for it whatever that may be: school, art, sports, playing an instrument etc it can make a huge difference in your life and the path you go down. I did show jumping when I was your age and it taught me so much: taking care of an animal, learning how to make it co operate with you, discipline, true friendships and independence. Anything you’re passionate about and pursue at a young age is time well spent as you evolve doing that. Don’t get sucked into a life of misery with drugs, struggle, being w the wrong crowd, becoming a young mother by looking for love or looking for validation on social media. Stay determined😊 Good luck Patience🍀🌸
Thank you
so uncomfortable watching this. I didnt like the child being interviewed
Neither did she
