Yeah, there's definitely ways to cut corners and make it cheaper though, Adrian Freire sells a gohan kit for 30 dollars, the faces you can get for like 15 if you're browsing for fodder rather than the full figure, Ultimate gohan is 35 rn on Entertainment earth, and so the only expensive thing is the hair. If you piece it together, it would be like 120 ish. Which is still cheaper than alot of shf on the market rn

Honestly 😂 everytime I try and mess around with my dremmel tool, I have to hold my breath. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!! As an artist myself, I believe that all artists deserve to be credited for their work, that is something that is very important to me.
I feel the same whenever I see people buy the Gammas just for the Gohan DLC lol but I think I got my money's worth with it, I basically have gotten 4 figures for the price of one, so I'm not mad :)

@@Awezumfigures I seen the idea simply microwave water for 3 minutes, dip for 30 seconds and you can use pliers or tweezers to pull the caps. Simply switch them and let dry before popping back on =P
@leatherhitman7401 my only issue with that method is it would stretch the peg hole, causing the head to be really loose if you ever decided to put it back, or worst yet, it just wouldn't fit back on
I agree, but alot of Z is just throwing things at the wall and seeing what works. It's not as structured as original Dragonball. I think it's nice to have that chaotic structure occasionally. Especially with every anime being so precise nowadays. Plus, with the buu saga already being too long, if we got more ultimate gohan, we wouldn't have vegito. So it's give and take.
hey, I know a little about customs, hot water is good for marvel legends and Mafex, but shf has metal, so it will rust more(correct me if I'm wrong) so I think a heat gun will be better. If you already knew this why didn't you use a heat gun?
Heat guns do more long term damage, and as far as the metal goes, the only metal in an shf is the joints in the feet and the screws in the upper torso, both of which are internal and won't be much of a factor in the long term. You can get rid of rust, you can't repair melted plastic. Hope this helps :)

Can do that or switch the under ports of the DF head and Gohan so that it pop's on naturally.

@@Awezumfigures that's why after you switch'em you let it immediately dry so they hold in place
@leatherhitman7401 yeah, but once it's dry, it won't hold in place anymore, because the peg hole size would have changed

They're the ones that came with it, my AJ customs set was basically sealed!

How do you paint the sideburns?
With any black acrylic paint, I used a black gloss paint, though I'd suggest a black matte, and a very small paint brush
