Hahaha I did the same thing. I have five stereo integrity ds4 18s, and I only have two hooked up in the theater. I took the passenger seat out of my single cab ram work truck and plopped an 18 in there. It never stays in there for too long, but I certainly enjoy her visits while she's there...

However, I'm mainly interested in 30hz up because I can barely hear 20hz. It's all about rock n roll for me. I believe yamaha DZR315 for the main speakers.
Nice! I've got an 18" ultimax in my van in the Dayton Audio sealed enclosure, with the Dayton DSP running 3 way active in the front. Was thinking of either getting a second 18" ultimax or a pair of 21" Krakens, if they'd fit.
I easily blew out 2 UM15s and as many other have realized the abysmal quality control of that particular line Ultimax ... so Im not just saying to hear myself talk .... Stereo Integrity is light years ahead in every detail ... they even have a very affordable 18
I had an ultimax 15 for years and someone local to me has 8 of the 18s in his theater. They are decent subs for the money imo, but the newer HT18 from SI is a better value and product. The ultimax was the best bang for buck for years though
Unfortunately my life ain't that blissful 😂, but I did put 2 of the Stereo Integrity HT18v3's in my car on 2400 watts. Maybe one day I can get one of the HS24's.

I've been wanting to do the same thing with my Ultimax 18 Full Marty and my inuke. If my Ultimax 10" in the car clips my UMIK-1 and maxes it out at 120dB I expect my 18 to get into the 130-140dB range on the lows. It won't fit into the Buick but it'll fit in the Equinox. Barely. My issue is I don't have a skidloader on hand to make it easy on me lol.

How is HS 24 for critical music listening. Someone said that it only good for ULF and not so for midbass. What do you think? Can i produce great midbass? Thanks
You even think it's getting full power out of that amp while being fed through the extension cord? Also, which Crown is that? The description says the 1202 but you said 2502 in the video? Recently did some work and took a cherry Crown CDi 1000 as partial payment. Yet to try it out. I have a pair of FTW 21" subs in my theater. Adding a pair of Nick's newest HT18s to the rear of the room. Have one of the Sanway FP10000q clone amps to run the 4 subs. Rated at 2500x4, but saw they dynoed closer to 1900w/ch. Should be plenty as my subs are almost always turned way down. Had not seen recent videos of yours. Didn't realize you moved. Good luck on a new home. Will keep an eye out for future vids.
I would definitely keep some headroom. I'm running one Crown XTI4002 which is rated at 3200w at 4 ohms bridged. However, the back of the panel say's power consumption 1250 watts.
Thanks man, been rough looking but we'll find a place soon... The amp was a crown xls 2502. I have had an xls 1000 in my theater as well so that's the link you saw I think. The extension was 12 gauge wire like the wiring from the breaker box. The caps do most of the heavy lifting for the burst power anyways, so I think it was pretty much doing what it was capable of. His new HT18 looks awesome especially for the money! I should be doing something with a few in the future once we clear some more things out of the shop here or we find a place. I have no room to work and it's driving me nuts!
Also those clone amps are sick. I have the FP20000Q I usually run the 24s on. That rating on the back is what the amp will pull, but the caps store extra juice for burst output, allowing amp to output much more than what a circuit normally does.
I was thinking about eventually testing a ported vs sealed with these once space and time permits... the NEEDS a stereo build bad. The single speaker AM radio is killing me 😂😭 and thank you for handling the approval from my wife lol!

Yea I suspect 2400w is fudging the numbers a bit... probably close to 2k but this isnt the regular amp that's usually powering these. I have a Sibosen FP20000Q for that. Power soft or speaker power are nice amps if you can afford them!

That’s something I tried years ago in a tractor with a 3000 watt inverter PA Amp and A solo X kicker.

Ported enclosure for this sub is recommended about 16 cubes or so 😂. Be a heck of an enclosure.
