Thanks for your insightful videos! I have a suggestion that might add even more value to your content. Consider stopping by the town and speaking with some residents. Ask them about interesting things to see or do, local restaurants, places to stay, and what they love about their town. Highlighting these personal recommendations could really promote tourism and give your viewers an authentic glimpse into the community. Keep up the great work!
I come from this place and i can attest that we are way much ahead than other constituencies considering that most lands in these areas belong to residents which makes it hard for the government to build social ammenities.if the government decides to do so it means either grabbing or buy the land from the people and evacuate them. The town is also located on a hill and on an opposite angle with the main road
I will call it double standards that you do not want an unequal share of resources and still expect leaders to make their home areas leafy suburbs. As a member of that constituency, we are stable and thriving, and we will not be compared.
You are joking sasa hio Ni barabara kweli ata haina pedestrian walk pavements haina parkings haina roundabouts haina street lights atleast ingekua town au village ya kipekee!
Question, you are the same as Afrikan Traveler ain't yah? Just curious. In any case I love your content from them days you used to take videos with a potato and upgraded to HD and drones. 🤣! I hope you have a sense of humor. Wish you all the best. Keep it up, you're doing good.
As much as your narrations are excellent and you do a good job with the videos, brathe tembelea other counties ndio ata sisi your viewers tuone how other villages look like, sio Kiambu pekee
Interesting title. I wish you had a better quality camera. It’s all nostalgia for me. I ain’t been back in a minute. I also wanna add that the roads look awesome and the hospital is great. They say home is best. I don’t care about what you say.
I wish the narrator could have done a good research on the history of these villages , names of the important sons and daughters and historical events of the land.He is possibly not trained in journalism but could teach himself online to sound proffessional. He should also avoid unfounded critisism and inuedos about our views about the contributions of the two former presidents from this village.
I come from Gatundu South and what you have said about schools in the area is incorrect. There are several schools which are ONLY Day, with no Boarders.
I think from a point of view the village is well because roads connectivity is perfect,I can see also electricity is well connected to many homes…the two presidents did a good job but still there is a lot needs to be done….good job village to town tv ❤❤we really love ur documentaries
The national anthem was composed by Reverend Thomas Kalume (a giriama) and Graham Hislop a British clergy l believe. No way the anthem was selected by shool kids from kiambu district. I was a primary kid when Thomas Kalume and Graham were given hongera of the anthem which was based on prayer to Almighty God. Please do your research and transmit correct history of our national anthem. Looks like kikuyu decided to hijack the anthem composition. I also believe the was also a music teacher or professor called Zake also contributed to the national anthem too. We Africans should descipline ourselves when doing a documentary of the country. Watching from UK and am Kenyan.
Please producer of this program than you are are doing avery good job, but please check on your workmanship and rectify the camer gravity because it is aways not very clear. 5:21
"Asante ya punda ni mateke" Lord God have mercy on us and open our eyes so we can learn to see the good in people like you do with us. Amen NB: I want to believe that both presidents had an impact in this country of ours hence the comment is for the benefit of the presidents going by the negative reactions on the comment section.
Am from Gatundu south and we have a lot to show. We have two universities ie Kenyatta university branch and mama Ngina university, we have best public primary schools after kiharu, 98%of high schools are boarding schools with school buses, about the hospital hope you saw it we have another one called Ng’enda level 4, hope you noticed the main roads and feeder roads, about the building that depends on the owner of the land . For electricity we hardly experience blackouts.
Guys don't defend these politicians. This town doesn't look like a place 2 presidents came from. Facts are facts. I want to see a hospital, modern buildings..it's a town right?
OK the town of Gatundu looks big he only erro is there is no proper walking pavements for the folks to walk on. Also the layout is a bit chaotic no urban safety plan. Just saying,
WUEH VERY INTERESTING, OVER TO THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF KIAMBU TO SPRUCE UP AND UPGRADE BOTH TOWNS IN HONOUR OF THE LATE H.E.JOMO KENYATTA AND FORMER H.E.UHURU MUIGAI KENYATTA TO ENSURE THEY CREATE A FAVOURABLE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT FOR BOTH LOCAL AND FOREIGN INVESTORS TO INVEST IN REAL ESTATE.
I went to that kashopping center kakazi fulani. Kila mtu nikaa anajua wewe ni mgeni juu macho yote iko kwako. Alafu kananuka bangi kote. Niliogopa hako katown
My my, go to Nazareth where jesus was born, tell us how many churches are there. The kenyattas were kenyans president and therefore their commitment was to the whole country. Unfair criticism.
Strangely, Moi did a lot more for the more remote villages he comes from. Not like I would want a President to use public resources to develop a single village.
False this village has everything enough food, a level 5 hospital, good roads, tap water, electricity, schools, churches, a university, the village is just 1hr from Nairobi so farmers easily sell their produce to Nairobi residents so what else does a village need to offer it's villagers really?

Very true, the area is super developed than most rural areas
I will call it double standards that you do not want an unequal share of resources and still expect leaders to make their home areas leafy suburbs. As a member of that constituency, we are stable and thriving, and we will not be compared.
Barabara iko sawa kwani wagejengea watu manyumba kwa mashamba zao

Positive criticism, I take that. Thank you
Next do Kabaru Nyeri. Major vegetables supplier for Karatina and other markets. Small village that could feed half of Kenya!
Great suggestion! I would love to visit that. Sound like a great place

History goes that there were three potential national anthems, and the 600 kids were given an opportunity to select the best. Not composing. Thank you

Two presidents and the village has nothing to show? I think something is seriously wrong with African politics
Am from Gatundu south and we have a lot to show. Its super crazy. I have been to different constituencies in the country, so far this is the most developed as far as amenities are concerned.
So what do you want to see gay strip clubs in a conservative community...leave us alone we are ok
Guys don't defend these politicians. This town doesn't look like a place 2 presidents came from. Facts are facts. I want to see a hospital, modern buildings..it's a town right?
Which parameters are you using to arrive at your conclusions?

What have we learned about Kenyattas???
Halafu utawapata hapo wakisema walichangua mtu wao...pwahahaha...hebu waaangalie, ujue ulie ama ucheke. Tribalism is truly a curse...
Barabara wanazo... Stima wanayo 100%... Kuchagua mtu wao kumewasaidia
Gatundu even after the two presidents we benefits with nothing,,anyway God yuko.
My my, go to Nazareth where jesus was born, tell us how many churches are there. The kenyattas were kenyans president and therefore their commitment was to the whole country. Unfair criticism.
You drive along the street and judge a whole community with that. Naah.
Mmmmmh
Poor infrastructure.....
What was your objective of recording and sharing this video?
Entertainment
25yrs presidency ?you must be kidding. The president elect is for the whole Nation not the village. That village is not like many villages in kenya.
Sure, it will take most villages a 100 years to attain what this village has in terms of social amenities
Strangely, Moi did a lot more for the more remote villages he comes from. Not like I would want a President to use public resources to develop a single village.
Uhuru is selfish man hio pesa ya kujenga northland ilitokea wapi?
Kiguyu theft
Very poor
