- Okay, this is not a visual update so random clip.
I focused on the controls and key bind options this time. You can now fully control the plane with a keyboard with the separated axis controls.
I learned a bit of Lua and now the flaps can be toggled rather than having to hold to keep them deployed. I also fumbled my way though making a sticky throttle system, you can increase and decrease throttle and it will maintain that value.
(This whole lua part almost drove me insane, I referenced like 4 different mods and multiple forums and barely got it to work, I should spend more time learning basic lua rules. But for now I am happy with it, I will tackle materials next time I work on this.)
Love MntGoat. Keep up the good work, even if Lua drives you off a cliff.
It's going along well (when i actually put in time.) Got materials done and now trying to tackle a bug in the jbeam files. I survived Lua for now
How to take - off it? I have only 40km/h on the ground
Delete the old version of the mod and make sure you have the new version from the forums - MTN-Goat.zip You want to shift into drive, then throttle up. (you will have to manually bind this key in the options.)
@@ShadowClan1965 Ok, I learned how to fly on this masterpiece. This is reason why u can't fly: When another modification is activated, the plane is without any texture it all white, and when I press W, propeller is starting and dies, start and dies. When modification isn't active I press W after button Increase Throttle. When the other modification active, u can't find the setting "Increase/Decrease Throttle" the special control to this plane. Can u fix that?(
@@Formyla1_ So when any other mod is activated it bugs out? I don't think I'm fully understanding. I double checked the new file and increase/decrease throttle is working.
Try this.
1. Delete any mtn-goat files, new and old.
2. Close the game.
3. Download the new version and put it in the mods folder.
4. Start the game and see if it works.
Note: This mod needs you to use realistic gearbox behavior. Press Q and a message should pop up saying 'Realistic' Behavior. Now press X to shift into Drive. Now you can throttle up.
Im Going to try to make this mod work with arcade behavior too, I didnt even think about until now.
