  • First of all I would like to make a special thanks to all of you for the 3000 subscribers. You're amazing!! ❤
    The setup:
    - Stiga Cybershape Carbon
    - Stiga DNA Platinum M (MAX)
    - Dr. Neubauer A-B-S 3 (2.0mm)
    Here are my impressions:
    - the rubber is very slow, thus offering maximum control. The 2.0mm sponge absorbs a lot and makes it a good choice for players like me who are used to playing fast blades and use the forehand actively.
    - The spin reversal is good but not extreme. This is unfortunately a common "problem" of all anti's since the introduction of plastic balls. It still remains difficult for the opponent to pull topspin in succession since the blocks remain short and with good backspin.
    - The aspect that I liked most about the rubber is the push at the table. The returned ball tends to bounce little and die often causing the opponent to make a mistake.
La pallina restituita tende a rimbalzare poco e a morire causando spesso l'avversario all'errore.

    I agree with your assessment. I think this is almost behaving like a regular anti something like super anti from butterfly . It s safe but close to no to little reversal. Coming from barna I was looking for a review of this rubber however I would say I ll probably pass on testing this on my setup at this time as coming from barna SG this is not a good fit for me. It could just as well be the blade that I believe has more flex than your carbonado which is worse for anti reversals . Thanks for the review and might be a good idea to test it out on your regular setup or a stiffer blade like dr N texa carbon . I have seen a prob play with abs 3 that’s why I think some of it has to do with the fit of the blade with anti

    Great video! You can clearly see that it is way slower than the ABS2 Pro. I thought it will be an upgrade of the 2 pro but apperently it is a whole different rubber

      Exactly, they are 2 different rubbers. 😉 The choice on which is best for you will depend on your playing preferences and style.

      @@AndreaAschi As for the reverse rotation, these two pads have ABS 2 Pro and ABS 3 (take 2mm thickness for comparison), which did you like better? And what about the hardness of the sponges on these pads, which one is softer?

    Many thanks for this review. I used to play with SG and I very much like its inversion abilities, but it has 2 disadvantages to my opinion : 1. when new it is hardly controllable. 2. After about 2 weeks it becomes easier to control but loses its inverting power.
    So I have ordered an ABS3 and hope it will be a better combination of control/inversion/durability.
    Fingers crossed.

    Looks very safe! How much of the good feeling in aggressive pushes do you think has to do with the blade? This blade has a different weight distribution, optimized for Truls' hard and explosive BH drive. That design also helps that kind of aggressive push (if I remember correctly, I only tried the blade a few minutes).

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Joachim!
      I honestly couldn't tell you how much the blade shape affects during aggressive pushes as I have played this blade very little and the feel of the new blue ABS sponge is completely new to me. I didn't always execute these shots with confidence.
      I would like to retest certain playing situations with my usual 2.3mm pink sponge so I can see if there is actually an advantage given by the shape of the blade! ;)

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! :)
      Both are safe/control oriented setups given the slowness of the rubber. I seem more confident with my old racket simply because I am more used to using it 😉
      Yes, I tried Vortex 2 on a Cybershape a few months ago. You can find the video on my channel!

      @AndreaAschi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very good racket! 🙂
      I only tested Vortex a few times and it seemed like a very good anti.
      From what I remember the spinreversal was yes better but overall I had less regularity with it.
      It also weighed a lot and I didn't like that.

    Great video. Could you please say something about if I want to use this anti on an Innerforce style blade? Would for work well for spin reversal, blocking and attacking?

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Inneforce blades are the most commonly used with anti so don't worry about performance. Like all types of blades there are stiffer versions that work better on spinreversal and softer versions with better control.
      At first I recommend you try anti on the blade you normally use.

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Rahim!
      ABS 3 is an easy-to-use anti. It's very slow with great control.
      ABS 2 PRO is fast and more unpredictable, with better spin reversal in my opinion.
      The choice depends on your play style, the blade you use and what you look for in a rubber (more control? Better attacking capabilities?...)

    • @AndreaAschi

      @@rahimtalib8269 I always advise beginners to start with the maximum thickness available so the anti has more control. Once you become familiar with it you can consider getting a less thick sponge.
