I like the idea of you picking that first Long Dog for your leap year SAL. You only like 4 of the 9 designs, so just stitch those 4 - one per year! I’m not sure how unique the border is, but if it’s a little repetitive it might be easy enough to modify for a 2x2 block instead of a 3x3 block.

I finished Long Dog's Sans Soucis this month, so I'm also looking for another Long Dog to start. I like Resistance is Futile because I love band samplers AND Star Trek; nothing like the Borg harping about the futility of resistance. Love your videos. They're so inspiring.

Congrats on the Long Dog finish! It looks amazing! I have finally started Pandemic as my first Long Dog. I have had the pattern since they gave it away back in 2020, but wasn't sure how I wanted to stitch it. My husband finally gave me the push I needed to start, and now it's actually my main travel project, since I started it on 18ct and its only one color (18ct Ivory aida with DMC 934). Dilemma has always been on the top of my wishlist, with the idea that my husband and each of my kids get to pick a box, and I pick the rest. As for what you should start next, that's a hard one. I would say Tyler's Lions as it has such a personal connection for you, and it's not one you see people stitching as much. There's really no wrong choice though, they are all beautiful! The cozy mystery that I am reading again and it is Audible is from Monica Ferris is placed in a little town in Minnisota! The first book in the series is called Crewel World. Hope you enjoy. Also I love Long Dogs and your Castles is beautiful! I’m working on Legal High right now. But I do have a small start on Do Different. It would be fun to see someone stitching ion the same project. Enjoy whichever you choose. They are addictive. Do you have any stitchers in Tyler that you stitch with? I live west of you in Bonham about 2 hours away.
