So for me and him it's been a long treck.

If you’ve ever caught a great band before the rest of the world you’ll know it’s the most thrilling moment any music fan has. It’s egotistical, of course. “This band is brilliant. No one knows it but me. I’m a visionary.” That was my thought process when I first saw a young band called Suede. They were supporting largely-forgotten indie stalwarts Kingmaker (even the mighty Suede had to start somewhere.) I have been married to that band for twenty five years. Last night I cheated on them. I couldn’t help it. This band is younger and fitter. I first heard 'Feel' on April 20th 2018. I know this because my Facebook feed has a link to the video saying, "finally a Birmingham band with real promise." I saw them live last night and I can’t hide my love under a bushel anymore. I need a rooftop to shout it from.
