Lol! You go! I am too just different food. Yesterday I watched Phil go to New Zealand. It might be an older show but first time I’ve seen it & LOVED it!! They had some really cool blinds!! Phil showed his lab that has been bit by a Cottonmouth. He survived 3 large bites!!! Tough dog 🐕 very obedient & taken well cared for!

I'm not a duck hunter but I LOVE watching these because even thoughI'm a woman I DID serve OUR Country & I deer hunt occasionally. But can ANYONE tell me how a group hunt decides WHO decides & gives the OK 👌 to shoot?? God Bless y'all 🙏!
Usually it's the guy that owns the boat or the person who finds the spot.
And sometimes it's just a free for all if one just slips in
We let the newbie or worst shooter go first. That way better shooters can take down wounded birds, and take down the rest. Of course, if I’m hunting with one person, we usually know how each other shoots, and work with each other. I’m left handed, so I shoot to the right better. Most of my friends are right handed, so they take the left. As for when to shoot, we don’t shoot circling ducks, we shoot them as the last ones are a few feet above the water. The others will take off and you can clean house. Let the newbie take their first shots, then take the rest down.
They have Phil on one end and Jase on the other. Those 2 call the "cut-em!" depending on which side the ducks come from. You don't flinch until you hear the call or you will be in the dog house! Haha!

I put alot of my time into hunting birds/caribou/(anything edible and legal alaska has to offer) every fall, and all winter long on the refuge of izembek and all over the lagoons n tundras of southwest Alaska... when it comes to fall goose hunting I am so dedicated and committed to slaying Canadian geese and ducks, every year im trying to one up my numbers from the year b4 and trying to learn the daily routes of the geese.. any chance I get in fall wich is every other day I am out there from morning til night.. wingshooting is the only rush and addiction I need and crave... the best part about it all is, having a freezer full of good wild meat to feed the family eat all year long..... living off the land is the only way to live... wouldn't trade my native/aluet lifestyle for nothing...ppl may not see things the way us Alaskan aluets do but that's because they were brought up alot different and don't understand our way of life and probably don't agree with it, but don't knock it til you try it... IF IT FLYS IT DIES

I fucked up and was claiming ducks I'd shot in a blind with 8 other guys. (Big mistake)
So they had me get out my targets and thrower and they tried like hell to make me miss.
They kept handing me guns. I shot Tim Bradley's Binelli that day... About 45 minutes later and a box of broken targets the guys finally muttered that MAYBE he is killing all the ducks he says.
I wore them out. ;)

Why does Jase shoot a right handed gun? My quick guess is because everyone else is right handed so he shoots what everyone else shoots.
im left handed as well. left handed guns are usually more expensive, and a semi auto gun doesnt really matter what hand it is, the shells eject out and away so no real issues.

Irs not expensive. Garage sale decoys, 6 is plentyn then find public water that fits a 6decoy spread. A box of shells is about 25bucks. Pretty cheap. Most people drink soda, alcohol, smoke cigs, or eat junk food or candy. Cut that crap for a week and you get to hunt for a week. Everybody can afford to make monthly payments on a 30k car, eat junk food, inhale lung poison, chew tobacco, and cover themselves in tattoos, but then cant afford 25 bucks to hunt. I dont get it.

What is a blind??
I believe it’s something they go inside, so that the family can attract the ducks without being spotted/smelled. It’s pretty much their camouflage/mini base

Is hunting ducks and shooting deer at the same time legal in south Texas Phil. Here in AZ that would have been considered Poaching deer out of season.
If they’re both in season there’s no problem, if you’re in a boat I’d check the laws on that.

So, you want to let them overpopulate and start starving to death? That’s cruel. People have to hunt them to keep their numbers in check. Of course we could fix that by destroying all the majors cities and everyone in them, and build duck ponds to replace them. But, that would mean that you would have to go away for good. So, it’s either you or the ducks, and most people choose to keep the duck population in check rather than trying to control the human population.
Those ducks that get mangled and uneatable because they're shredded from being hit multiple times by everyone in the blind....
